Here I am, with Nar and Sas, early in the morning. As usual, the three of us are training our strength and magic. Nar is practicing his sword technique, Sas is practicing his magic technique, while I am doing both at the same time. It's still early and the sun hasn't risen yet, but this is normal for the three of us.
"Let's finish this now. We have work to do and Diana has her trip for today" [Nar].
"Sure" [Sas]
"The bath is mine!" [Diana]
Without waiting for them, I run to the main bathroom of the mansion. There are several bathrooms, but I like the biggest one because it has everything, from shampoo to hot water. It's a luxury, and it's still being modified by the three of us. I created the cloud water so that a mini rain of hot or cold water comes out of the top whenever I feel like it.
After my bath and breakfast, I go through the list of things I need to bring for our one day, one night trip. There's not much to bring since it's only a short trip of a little more than 24 hours, but you can never be too prepared, that's what Nar and Sas taught me.
"Handkerchief" [Nar]
"Check!" [Diana]
"Your clothes" [Sas]
"All here" [Diana]
"Guess there's nothing to worry about" [Nar]
"You two are forgetting something" [Diana]
"Which is?" [Sas]
"Fie!" [Diana]
"Meow?!" [Fie]
I take the sleeping kitten and scare it so badly that it wants to scratch me, but it doesn't because it recognizes me, it kind master.
Nar and Sas are considering whether or not to let me take Fie with me. I'm sure the answer will be no, a big no, but to my surprise, they actually let me take Fie with me on the trip. I'm not sure of their reasoning, but I think it has something to do with Master Merlin being able to monitor me through Fie. That's my best guess.
With that out of the way, I go to school. Today's weather couldn't be more beautiful, and Fie is so excited that he meows several times, and since Fie is in such a good mood, I meow along with him. It's contagious, his meowing.
Today, instead of gathering in class as usual, we gather in the field. There's Ms. Tiara, panicking as she tries to find Master Merlin. Knowing Master Merlin, I can bet my favorite red dress that she's still in her couch, sleeping like there's no tomorrow. Oh, I am one hundred percent sure.
The knights arrive one by one, and along with them are Kara and Mara. Looks like being a princess means being heavily guarded at all times. Well, this is not an unusual sight for me. My classmate and I see this basically every day.

"You're up early" [Mara].

"I've heard from other seniors that the test is different every year" [Kara].
"That's a little nerve-wracking when we first found out, but now I feel even more excited" [Mara].
According to Kara and Mara, the test is usually discussed beforehand by the principal and the teachers of the year. Since Master Merlin and Tiara are teaching us, this means that they, along with several other teachers from different classes, will be the ones administering the test. Knowing Master Merlin, I hope it's nothing too crazy.

"For our group, that just leaves Tio and Marianne" [Kara].
"Poor Adnan the other day" [Mara].
