The witch Merlin has brought a large kaleidoscope into the hall. It's even bigger than the one in the guild. Maybe even bigger than the one in the castle. She put it in her item box. I'm impressed, considering that the kaleidoscope is full of time and dark mana, it will surely affect her whole item box magic, but considering that she's the legendary witch and that she's Diana's master, I'm sure it's something she can handle.
The kaleidoscope has a large orb in the center. It's surrounded by gold material enhanced with Space Mana. The gold is shaped to surround the orb, much like the ring on one of our moons. The magic formula and the circle are engraved with black colored material. I'm not sure of the exact material used, most likely an ore from a place where time mana is concentrated. Even Brokkr seems to agree. The stand of this large kaleidoscope is made of an earth pillar, a sturdy one to ensure that it can withstand the weight of whatever it is supposed to hold.
"Alright, I will activate this thing, and while I am at it, I might as well tell you what has happened so far... I'm surprised at the number of our attendees" [Merlin].
She begins to maneuver the large and complex looking kaleidoscope. According to her, a little bird managed to send a message from Diana telling her that she's been kidnapped. She gathered the information and it looks like the one responsible is the same organization we are currently pursuing.
"How did she manage to talk to the animals and trees? She's not an elf, and the same goes for you."
"Good question, Mr. Knight. I won't tell you how she is able to do that, but as for me, I am nothing but a humble witch who knows the art of the soul. I simply communicate with the essence of the soul, so any language barrier is no obstacle for me" [Merlin].
"So any witch can do it?" [Linda]
"You are right. Witches are the masters of the soul after all" [Merlin].
Ancient elves, unlike their modern counterparts, are able to communicate with their environment without the use of spells. The same goes for the ancient dwarves. There's even a tale of a tribe of beasts that are capable of the exact feat, though some of them retain it. For example, a cat beastman who has evolved can talk freely with any cat species. As for Diana, it's probably something to do with her blessing, that's the only logical conclusion I can come up with. As for witches, this is the first I've heard of it.

As she activate it together with her highness, she explained that this is her most powerful kaleidoscope. It can not only see places faraway, it can also see what's happening in the past, although that required someone highly proficient with time magic, someone like Queen Amleth.
"Is it also possible to see the future?" [Amleth]
"Theoretically, yes, but I'm sure with her current specs, she couldn't even get two seconds into it" [Merlin].
(So the divine telling of the Time Fairy Maleficent is still better, but if I can use her blessing along with this kaleidoscope, then maybe...) [Amleth]
As the Kaleidoscope activated, it shows the entirety of Amleth, and slowly, it zoom into the places of interest. She said that she last detect Diana's mana over the place she's showing at us, and as she activate a certain mechanism, as if seeing back in time, we all couldn't help but to feel angry
"That bastard! DEATH is too light a punishment!" [Sas]
"I will make a living puppet out of him!" [Merlin]
"Well then, how shall I torture them? Perhaps by pouring lava into their mouths." [Nar]
(Creepy... Although I understand their reaction) [Ledang]

My blood was boiling, especially when they beat our little sister mercilessly. They didn't even hesitate to beat her unconscious. The Kaleidoscope then goes on to show how they treat her like a piece of baggage, simply throwing her into a wagon before picking up other slaves and goods. They managed to escape the city walls through a corrupt guard

"I think that is enough. Little Amleth, we will continue to operate this kaleidoscope, as for the others, you can surely start moving to save them all. I will let you know if we get any new information" [Merlin].
