We kept walking and made it to a large set of double doors.
“Looks like we’re here.” (Flandre)
Flandre approaches the door and knocks.
“Why aren’t we breaking down the door again?” (Ei)
“Who said we weren’t?” (Flandre)
The door crumbles, as if awaiting that sentence. I have my wings out, Flandre doesn’t. I wonder why she doesn’t… Maybe it hides her identity as the Shogun somehow?
“So, the Vampyric Shogunate has finally started their counterattack. I’ll crush you like all the rest and turn anyone I like into toys.” (???)
A man wearing a black robe with long, messy, black hair stands before us.
“Two more ladies? Wonderful. Toying with the splitting image of the Shogun will be fun. And a Vampire Lord as well? No matter. I am almost an Arch Vampire. Bow before me, and I, Earl Voltrek, will spare you.” (Voltrek)
“LIKE HELL I WOULD! You… you killed Sylventris!” (Ei)
“Oh? So I killed one of your friends? Well, guess what. I lost my son in the attacks. We were only told to be diversions and yet he died! I have every right to slaughter you all!” (Voltrek)
“Yeah? You lost your son? Well, guess what? I killed him, you piece of shit.” (Ei)
“YOU BASTARD! I’ll make sure you die a thousand deaths! The life of my son is worth a hundred times more than yours!” (Voltrek)
“And what makes you think that? He killed people too! We’re both murderers! We’re both pieces of shit!” (Ei)
“YOU DARE INSULT MY SON’S NAME? I’ll kill you, your family, and all your friends! And I’ll make you watch me do it!” (Voltrek)
“No… I’ll kill you first. And don’t think that it will be quick.『Armageddon』” (Ei)
A flash of light fills the room.
Once it subsides, the castle is gone and the surrounding forest is ablaze. We stand in a crater of burning magma and the one dark sky has been dyed red. It’s raining fire.
“W-what is this power? Y-you can’t have it!” (Voltrek)
“What? Are you running already? Wet your pants?” (Ei)
I begin walking towards Voltrek, glaive and swords drawn, already ablaze.
He turns to run, but trips and falls flat on his face. I placed wires of blood along the ground. Running is futile.
“Oh no… It looks like you’ve tripped. Let me help you up.” (Ei)
I walk up to him and kick him straight in the balls, assuming Vampires have those. He goes flying into the sky. I easily dash up to him as he rises into the air.
“Somebody looks like they're having a bad day. Why don’t I heal you a bit? [Regeneration].”
His burns heal over and the wounds close.
“Oh, my mistake. I overdid it.” (Ei)
Once he is finished healing, his skin begins to bubble and expand as tumors grow within his arms and legs. The tumors grow and grow until… pop! They explode along with a good portion of his limbs.
“I bet you wish you were human right now. All this suffering, and yet you’ll just regenerate through it all…” (Ei)
“I… ha…ven’t ev…en sta…rted…” (Voltrek)
Entertain me then. I’ll wait. I have all night.
“Sure, sure. Let me just make sure you don’t move too far.” (Ei)
I summoned some earthen spikes and stabbed them into Voltrek’s hands and feet. They began to melt though…
“I must say, I’m impressed you’ve managed to resist the heat. Aren’t you going to do something? It’s fun to beat you up, but it’d be nice to have it be at least somewhat interesting.” (Ei)
“I’ll kill you! {Frost Storm}!” (Voltrek)
The surrounding area fizzles a bit… maybe it cooled down a bit… then…
****BOOOOOOMM****
Another massive explosion rocks the ruins of the castle. I’m sent flying backwards while Voltrek manages to stay mostly put. My storm of fire remains triumphant. I won’t be sniffed out easily.
Voltrek seems to have suffered some decent damage from his own attack.
“GYAAAA” (Voltrek)
One of his arms ablaze, he pulls himself out of the crater he made.
“I’ll… I’ll… KILL YOU!” (Voltrek)
“Go ahead and try.” (Ei)
I summon up a large amount of blood wires and begin threading them through Voltrek. I sow stitches all across his arms and legs, then trip the wires out. His bloodied form collapses, but he’s not dead.
“F-fine… I’ll… take… you do…wn… with…. me… {Perma…frost}...” (Voltrek)
Like hell I’d be fine with that!
My storm cools significantly, but I won’t let Voltrek commit suicide. I cancel the firestorm and the previously burning trees and magma filled crater are replaced with statues of ice and snow.
“What an idiot.” (Ei)
It’s time for the final act.
“[Chain Lightning - Implosion]” (Ei)
**cra-CRACK**
***BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG***
I pick up and throw the now deep fried Earl. Then, I dash after my throw and skewer him through with my glaive. Cthulhu’s swords stab into his eyes and I take control of all the blood in his body.
Slowly, I begin making it expand as if it had grown spikes, slowly piercing through all of Voltrek’s body.
“Don’t worry. I won’t kill you.” (Ei)
While I let that complete its agonizing process, I create a sphere. I add a custom made mana absorption device. It’s for Voltrek. Then, I fill the bottom of it with oil and light it ablaze.
“It’s about time for you to be sealed. Forever. Goodbye, Voltrek. Enjoy your new hell where you will be burned alive until the end of time, completely manaless.” (Ei)
Before he has a chance to respond, I slam the mana absorption device into Voltrek’s chest, throw him into the sphere, seal it, and shove it a few miles underground. Only a gaping hole remains where the sphere one was, but I can cover it up.
“Ei!” (???)
Eh?
Rewinding in time a bit…
[Flandre’s POV]
I left Ei to get her revenge! After teleporting out of the castle, I perched on a tree to watch the fight! I have a feeling the walls won’t last long.
A flash of light fills the forest and an explosion rocks the earth. The sky turns blood red.

No! I can’t go into a battle frenzy right now. Still, this spell far exceeds my expectations…
“Flandre, what the hell is going on here?” (Kusanali)

“Just dealing with the Vampire attacks~ Or rather, Ei is.” (Flandre)
“Still, arson is not the correct answer. I’m going to stop her.” (Kusanali)
“But it’s revenge, you know? And it’s not like the forest will be burnt down completely. I’m sure you can contain the fire. Besides, isn’t this a ‘learning opportunity’ for Ei?” (Flandre)
“Yes, but I’m worried how it could turn out, considering what she is.” (Kusanali)
“Yeah, yeah, I know she’s the same as me. Still, she’s only three months old. It’s not like we can’t stop her if she goes nuclear.” (Flandre)
“Fine. But if I deem her a risk, I will stop her.” (Kusanali)

[Luna’s POV]
“Ei’s really late today, huh?” (Luna)
“Yeah, she’s probably off doin’ some project somewhere.” (Kurui)
“Are you sure? Ei is normally back by now, regardless of what she is doing.” (Nadia)
It is a bit troubling, but I’m sure that she’s fine. She can protect herself! Still, I am worried about her mental state.
“Something’s wrong.” (Kurui)
Terra come bursting through the door.
“ONEECHAN! THE SKY IS ON FIRE!” (Terra)
““What?”” “Great.” (Luna/Nadia & Kurui)
We run to the window and look up. The sky is dyed red directly ahead of us.
“We’ve gotta go. Nadia, Luna, hold on.” (Kurui)
The world blurs around us and we’re now standing on the edge of the blaze.
“We’re not even in the storm and it’s this hot?!?!” (Luna)
“To produce heat strong enough to dissuade a half Dragon…” (Nadia)
“Something has gone really wrong.” (Kurui)
This is where Ei has run off too?!
She’s fighting with someone… though it’s really one sided.
“Not sure if y’all can tell, but Ei is releasin’ some really strong mana waves right now. The only way that could happen is if her emotions are out of control or she’s casting a ridiculously strong spell. And she’s doin’ both.” (Kurui)
“At this rate, the forest will be burnt down!” (Nadia)
“We have to calm her down! EI! CAN YOU HEAR ME?” (Luna)
An explosion rocks the trees and the storm of fire disappears.
“Look out! [Earth Wall]!” (Kurui)
Ice slams into the wall and freezes the trees. There’s no more unbearable heat, nor is there and unbearable cold.
I start running towards Ei.
“EI!” (Luna)
She turns towards me.
