It was not easy to break through the Original Gravity Tower. Even if the basic cell value reached 310 points, one still might not be able to pass the first checkpoint, not to mention skipping straight to higher levels.
"Here is the plan. I'm going to deliver the mission, so you can look around by yourself." Audrey took Steve to the mission hall.
The first level of the Original Gravity Tower covered a vast area and was like a small city, which was divided into many regions, each of which had a different function.
"Thank you for telling me more about the Original Gravity Tower." Steve thanked Audrey.
"Just saying thank you is meaningless. Why don't you buy me a drink next time?" Audrey came closer to Steve and playfully drew circles on his chest with her finger.
She's a witch indeed! Steve sighed in his heart.
Audrey was attractive, but Steve would not be easily seduced. Hence, Steve grabbed her hand, lowered his head to kiss her lips, then said, "It'd be my pleasure!"
"Hehe, you're not as honest as you look." Audrey pulled her hand back, avoided Steve's kiss, and laughed. "I have many pursuers. You'll have to work hard if you want to pursue me."
With that, she waved to Steve and walked into the mission hall. Steve smiled. He had just deliberately playacted with Audrey, as Steve had no intentions for that kind of thing for the time being!
Now that he knew the situation of the Original Gravity Tower, Steve headed in the direction of the transmission tactics. After all, he'd come here to practice.
Ever since he had broken through and become an original being, his cell evolution had become extremely slow. Before, he could raise his basic cell value by a dozen times, but now, he could only raise his basic cell value by one or two points per day!
Hence, ever since his basic cell value had hit 300 points, it had only increased by 5 points! With this slow rate of progress, it would take him forever to break through to become a level-one evolved being!
Upon his entering the second level of the Original Gravity Tower, Steve could not see the margins of the vast hall, nor any other people. The situation was completely different from what one saw on the outside!
"Space folding technology!" Steve exclaimed. "The technology of Blue Star humans is far from being able to fold up such a vast space!"
Just as Steve entered the second level, the white bracelet on his right hand suddenly lit up.
"Traces of the Titan Clan! Have you found the remains of the Titan Clan?" Judy's voice suddenly rang out from inside the bracelet.
Whoosh!
A ray of light then flew out from the bracelet, while Judy's spiritual identity appeared right beside him.
"Original Gravity Tower!" Judy recognized it after one glance.
"Yes, this is the Original Gravity Tower in the Stanlos Base Camp, and Blue Star's humans have already built military bases around it." Steve gave Judy a rough account of the situation.
Ever since he'd left the Apollo Battleship, Judy had had very little communication with him. However, seeing that she could split into a spiritual body and appear beside him just now, he figured that she had recovered some of her abilities.
"The Original Gravity Tower was the best training ground for the Titan Clan to train their children. Although there were many Original Gravity Towers built all over Blue Star, I never expected that you'd encounter one." Judy sighed.
"Wait a minute. The Original Gravity Tower was where the Titan Clan children were trained?" Steve asked in surprise.
"Yes, the Original Gravity Tower was a playground for children under 10 years old. They would go there to develop their abilities and improve their potentials," Judy said.
A playground for children under 10?
Steve's expression was strange. According to the military base, the Original Gravity Tower was the place where the Titans trained their warriors. But now, it sounded like the bosses of the military base had misunderstood, as the gap between the two was extraordinarily huge!
Just then, a powerful force that caused Steve to feel a huge sense of oppression pressed down from the sky. This feeling of oppression felt as if it was oppressing him both mentally and physically.
Steve was shocked by the sudden and immense pressure, which was countless times more terrible than Collic's had been, In fact, he felt as if the sky was falling on top of him!
"Hello, guests from the Lemurian civilization." A thick, gender-neutral electronic voice came from overhead.
"Are you the main system of the Original Gravity Tower?" Judy asked, surprised. "I didn't expect you to still be 'alive!'"
"Haha, I didn't expect that the spirit of the Lemurian civilization still exists in Blue Star, either! Aren't you still 'alive' too?" The main system laughed.
Judy smiled and asked, "Yeah, if I'm still 'alive,' what's so strange about the Titan Clan civilization having a living main system?"
Steve knew that their mentioning the word "alive" did not really mean living in this world as humans used the word. Instead, theirs was the kind of living that preserved their self-consciousness. Of course, they themselves were not alive!
"I didn't expect that, after the Dark Tumultuous Period of the Past, I could still encounter the Spirit of Lemuria." The main system of the Original Gravity Tower sighed.
"Do you know the history of the Dark Tumultuous Period of the Past?" Judy asked excitedly. "What happened back then? Who won in the end?"
The main system of the Original Gravity Tower sighed. "I am also unsure of what happened exactly."
"You don't know?" Judy asked.
"No. Although I am the main system of the Original Gravity Tower that was left by the Titan Clan, before the Lemurian civilization left, they shut me down!"
The Original Gravity Tower's tone was full of memories of the years gone by, like an old man describing the past years. "After the war, my body had been seriously damaged. I was only excavated by human beings a few centuries ago, and only then were a few of my functions restored."
Judy sighed regretfully. She had thought that she could learn about the vanished part of history from the main system of the Original Gravity Tower.
"Since you'd already gone through the civilizations of the Titan Clan and Atlantis, why did they leave the Blue Star Continent? Where did they end up?" Steve couldn't help but ask, as the whereabouts of the two civilizations had always been a mystery.
Even the many years of exploration of the Lemurian civilization had not yielded any information. Thus, all anyone could do was guess...
