The Elder Dragon before me unleashes a mighty roar, a deafening symphony of power that reverberates through the air. The magic around us trembles in response, sending shivers down my spine. My Undead Silver Ape, mounted atop a Zombified Bicorn, halts abruptly, paralyzed by the sheer force of the dragon's bellow.

In the midst of the chaos, the Elder Dragon invokes Spirit Speech, uttering a single word with an ominous resonance— “Hold.” A sudden stillness envelops my undead minions, rendering them immobile. The magic in the air intensifies, converging onto my necromantic creations.

With breathtaking speed, the Elder Dragon charges toward my immobilized army, its massive form barreling forward with unrelenting force. In an instant, it crashes into my undead minions, unleashing a devastating body slam that reduces them to a heap of shattered bones and rubble.

But the Elder Dragon is far from finished. It roars once more, a primal sound echoing with heightened ferocity. The very surroundings quake in response, and the 100th floor of this tower, a cavernous structure, crumbles under immense pressure. As the walls fall away, a surreal world is unveiled— a vast sky above, and below, an unexpected garden of vibrant flowers sprawls across the once-hidden landscape.

I stand amidst the wreckage, awe-struck by the revelation of this hidden realm within the tower. The Elder Dragon, having asserted its dominance, surveys its conquered domain with an air of triumphant majesty. The once-enclosed space now opens up to a breathtaking expanse, a world beyond imagination revealed by the destructive power of the Elder Dragon's roars.

“What the fuck is this? A bonus stage? No, I think this is a hidden stage…”

I grow silent by a minute, studying the immense, intimidating Elder Dragon before me. Its scales glisten with an otherworldly sheen, and its eyes blaze with ancient wisdom. I really tend to fall into WTF moments too often.

"REVEAL YOURSELF OR GET DESTROYED!" the Elder Dragon bellows, its voice echoing through the cavern.

I take a deep breath, summoning the courage to address the majestic beast.

I reveal myself, canceling my invisibility. "Heyo~! Say, do you know Baal, oh wise dragon?" I inquire, trying to strike a conversational tone.

The Elder Dragon narrows its eyes, sizing me up with a mix of curiosity and suspicion.

"YOU ARE A CHALLENGER, THUS WE FIGHT!" It declares, the ground trembling as it readies itself for battle.

I complain to the Elder Dragon playfully, a smirk playing on my lips, "Come on now, it's hardly fair that we're fighting. I just lost my stealth advantage by revealing myself. Not cool."

The Elder Dragon regards me with a knowing glint in its eyes, and a low, rumbling chuckle emanates from its massive form. Did this sly dragon deliberately lure me into revealing myself by assuming the grand and legendary persona? The kind that demands interaction?

My curiosity gets the better of me, and I find myself engaging in conversation. "So, do you know Baal, oh wise dragon?" I ask, unable to resist the temptation.

The Elder Dragon's demeanor shifts, its eyes narrowing in response to my complaints. "It is only fair you reveal yourself if you wish me to have a fighting chance," it retorts, a hint of annoyance in its booming voice.

I can't help but marvel at the dragon's unexpected humility. "This Elder Dragon is super humble, huh?" I mutter to myself. In my impression, he's impossibly strong, and yet here he is, engaging in a discourse about fairness.

Wait, wait, wait… maybe this dragon is the same kind as me, someone who talks a big game but is actually super weak— though in essence, they are actually just acting boastful and impudent, they are is actually hiding incredible strength. Shit. Maybe this dragon is super cunning, someone who uses tricks to confuse their foe just like me… or maybe, I am just overthinking things.

I sit on the grass, the delicate fragrance of the flowers wafting through the air. The Elder Dragon, a magnificent creature, stands before me, its imposing presence attesting to the ability to alter the very landscape of the 100th floor.

"Wait, wait, wait! Before we fight, can we talk first?" I interrupt, my gaze fixed on the formidable beast.

The Elder Dragon responds with a thunderous voice, "MY PURPOSE IS TO FIGHT AND DEFEND THIS TOWER! I DON’T TALK."

I chuckle, a mix of frustration and amusement bubbling within me. "You're a Spirit Speech Caster, and you don’t talk? Come on! Your spits are like bullets, and your words are gunshots! What's up with the act? Also, why did you call me a demi? And why are you so strong that you can change this floor like it's nothing?"

The Elder Dragon remains impassive, its gaze unwavering.

"DEMI GODS LIKE YOU HAVE EXISTED FOR A LONG TIME! YOU POSSESS AN AUTHORITY, THUS MAKING YOU AN APOSTLE. BUT GIVEN THE STRENGTH YOU WIELD, YOU PASS AS A DEMI GOD. CAN WE FIGHT NOW?" it declares, its patience wearing thin.

I cross my arms, a defiant expression on my face.

"No," I assert, refusing to give in to the imminent battle.

Judging by the flow of conversation, I can safely ascertain that this dragon here is definitely not the scheming kind… Thus, I am definitely overthinking things. I sigh. I hate being tricked after all.

The Elder Dragon's voice echoes through the massive chamber, resonating with a strange mixture of authority and weariness. I maintain my composure, intrigued by its unexpected willingness to engage in conversation.

"Answer all of my questions first, then we fight… So as I am asking, how are you so strong? And are you related to Baal? Who put you in this Tower? Who created Magic Power? Who created dungeons and towers? What exactly is Time Regression? Is the Zeroth Iteration real?"

"TOO MANY QUESTIONS. THE ANSWERS I HAVE IS FEW."

I narrow my eyes at the dragon, determined to extract whatever information it possesses.

"I am fine with anything…"

"I AM NOT STRONG. I SIMPLY HAVE COMPLETE RIGHTS OVER THIS FLOOR, MAKING ME AN ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR, THUS ALLOWING ME TO CHANGE THE TERRAIN AS I LIKE. I AM STRONG, BUT I CANNOT COMPARE TO DEMI GODS LIKE YOU."

I digest this revelation, realizing that the dragon's strength is more about its control over the environment than raw power. It seems to acknowledge my superiority, yet an underlying displeasure lingers in its words.

"Neat, so that’s why you are so cooperative… You think you cannot defeat me, and that’s why you are acting like this. Hmmm… I know of Administrators in Towers who have reign and a certain level of control over their floors, but this is the first time I heard of an Assistant Administrator. This begs asking, but if you know you cannot defeat me, why bother?"

"I WISH RELEASE."

I raise an eyebrow, puzzled by the dragon's desire. It wants to be set free, but from what, I wonder.

"So you wanna die?"

"YES."

The response is stark, devoid of hesitation or ambiguity. I sense a profound weariness in the dragon's admission, and a realization dawns upon me – this ancient creature, despite its formidable appearance, harbors a desire for an end to its existence.

The Elder Dragon's immense presence fills the chamber, and its voice resonates with an otherworldly power. "PROCEEDING ONWARDS WITH THE ANSWERS YOU REQUIRE," it declares. "I DON’T KNOW OF THIS BAAL. I DON’T KNOW WHO PUT ME IN THIS TOWER. I DON’T KNOW THE ORIGIN OF MAGIC POWER, TOWERS AND DUNGEONS. I DON’T KNOW THE TIME REGRESSION OR THE ZEROTH ITERATION YOU SPEAK OF."

I let out a sigh, the weight of my unanswered questions pressing on me. "What do you know? Let's make it easier for you… What is your life story?"

The Elder Dragon responds with a grumpy tone, "I DON’T HAVE A STORY FOR YOU."

"Why so grumpy?" I inquire.

"I DON’T HAVE A PAST. ALL I HAVE IS THE PRESENT TO WHICH YOU SHALL END," the dragon states matter-of-factly. "I KNOW WHAT I AM THROUGH MY CONNECTION VIA MY BLOOD, BUT I DON’T KNOW WHO I AM."

"That’s sad," I remark, leaning on the grass. I appear relaxed, but my guard remains up. "You are just like me." I pause before asking, "Tell me, dragon… What do you know of destiny?"

The Elder Dragon's response is solemn, "None."

"Indeed," I acknowledge, contemplating the enigma that surrounds us.

I rise from my comfortable position. "Elder Dragon," I announce, determination in my voice, "we shall have the fight you very much desired."

The Elder Dragon rejoices, a deep rumble echoing through the cavern as it unfurls its massive wings. "Finally," it growls, its eyes gleaming with anticipation.

First, I direct my question to the colossal creature, "Can you manipulate the 100th floor and make it so that time is compressed here? Slow it down to the maximum level."

The Elder Dragon's eyes narrow, considering my request. "Yes," it roars, "time can be manipulated within these depths."

I press on, a glimmer of excitement in my eyes, "And after you meet your end, will the compressed time remain?"

The Elder Dragon answers affirmatively, a sinister grin forming on its draconic visage. "Indeed," it hisses, "time shall remain compressed, a perpetual state even after my demise."

"Yehey!" I exclaim, exhilaration coursing through me. "I've just acquired a super training ground more overpowered than the Hyperbolic Chamber in my original timeline."

Curiosity tugs at me, and I inquire further, "How slow can you adjust it?"

The Elder Dragon chuckles, a low and ominous sound. "Time can be compressed a thousandfold," it declares, and a shiver runs down my spine. "Yikes," I mutter under my breath, realizing the magnitude of the training advantage now at my disposal.

Okay, so what is my goal now?

Well, it is fairly simple— become so OP I can kill someone like Chae Joochul with one slap. Yeah, let’s make that a goal.
