Even many years later, Ethan clearly remembered the night on the mothership. Every time he thought about it, he could feel his blood burning. Under his prim, proper, and conservative priest garb, Tanisiel had a cheetah-like body full of strength and beauty. And he clearly knew his charm. Ethan replied in confusion, “Mark me? Ah, I’m a Beta!”
“Does it matter? Anyway, that Samuel always wanted to put his bite mark on your neck, right?”

The act was similar to an Omega submitting and caused Tanisiel’s Alpha side to roar excitedly. He impatiently groaned, burying himself in the warm neck and opening his mouth to bite down.
Ethan quickly blocked his mouth with his palm, but he still let out a dull whimper. He didn’t understand why Omegas always had expressions of both pain and joy when they were bitten. He didn’t feel comfortable at all, and almost thought that his neck was going to be broken. He pushed Tanisiel aside in a hurry and felt for the bite mark. Fortunately, he wasn’t bleeding……
“Was it necessary to exert so much force!!!”
Tanisiel looked at the purple and red teeth marks on the Beta’s neck. He could smell his Alpha pheromones spreading along the heat traveling through his arteries, and licked the corners of his mouth with satisfaction. It was really strange that he got so excited even though he was not marking an Omega. Why was this so?
A bit after five in the morning, Ethan snuck back to his and Samuel’s room and tiptoed to the bathroom to take a shower. Suddenly, he heard a voice travelling from the bed, asking, “Where have you been?”
Ethan was startled but was relieved to see that it had been Samuel who spoke. “Why didn’t you turn on the light when you woke up?”
Samuel was sitting on the bed with one leg bent casually. Suddenly, his eyes widened, and he jumped up, stalking over to Ethan. Ethan saw how angry he looked and took a step back. He didn’t know what was wrong with him.
The Omega grabbed his jaw and forced his neck up. His gaze was burning two holes into the pair of teeth marks on his neck.
“Who did it?” Samuel’s eyes burned with anger, and he was like a wild wolf as he threatened, “I will strip him alive!”
Ethan realized that he thought that someone had forced him, quickly appeased him with a gentle voice, “It wasn’t a nonhuman, and I volunteered. Didn’t you say that I needed an Alpha’s bite mark on my neck? All you need to do is spray some of your Alpha camouflaging inhibitor.”
Originally, Ethan thought that he could appease him with his words, but the man in front of him instead became even more furious. He exclaimed angrily, “What did you say?! You volunteered?!”
Samuel’s voice was so loud it was almost deafening. Ethan quickly looked back to check if the soundproof door was closed before asking, “Why are you shouting! Do you want the entire ship to hear you?”
“Are you stupid! Did I ask you to go find someone else to mark you!!!” Samuel grabbed his wrinkled collar and saw the rest of the marks on his chest through his loose clothes. Ethan was terrified when he heard the beast-like growl rumbling from the Omega’s throat. At that moment, it was as though there was an Alpha in front of him.
Ethan thought that Samuel’s hormonal disorder had caused him to lose control of his emotions, so he lowered his tone and said with the softest and most gentle voice possible, “Joe, calm down. He won’t reveal it……”
“Don’t call me Joe! You aren’t fit to call me that!”
After being inexplicably reprimanded, Ethan also grew angry and shouted, “Did you fucking take the wrong medicine?! How did I offend you!!”
“You really have the cheek to ask! You are my man in name now, but behind my back, you came back with the scent of another Alpha on you. How would others see me!! You’re treating me as your pimp!!!”
Samuel spat out those coarse words, his face red with anger. Ethan knocked away Samuel’s hand and glared at him with an unprecedentedly cold expression. “I’ll warn you now. You need to respect me!”
“Respect? You don’t even know how to love yourself, so why should I respect you?! You’re such a promiscuous bitch!”
Ethan couldn’t believe his ears. It was the first time that someone used crude terms like ‘promiscuous’ and ‘bitch’ to curse him. He gritted his teeth, his ears reddening, and he held out a trembling finger to point at Samuel. “Don’t be mistaken. You can only continue pretending to be a big brother because I’m helping you. I’m not your servant! You can’t tell me what to do. Whoever I sleep with is my business!”
As soon as he finished speaking, Samuel suddenly swung his fist.
Ethan never thought that Samuel would physically attack him, so he wasn’t on guard and suddenly felt a strong force hitting the right side of his face. He lost his balance and fell on the ground. His glasses flew, and the thick scent of blood flooded his mouth and nostrils. He felt dizzy for a moment, and it took him a while to recover. In shock, he could only stare speechlessly at Samuel, with blood dripping down his face.
Samuel was also shocked. He had immediately regretted striking out, but fiery anger was still coursing through his veins. With a low, dejected grunt, he opened the door and rushed out.
Ethan could feel a dull pain in his cheek, and he awkwardly rubbed the blood steadily flowing from his nose with his sleeve. He even suspected that the bridge of his nose might have been broken. Enduring the pain from his body, he got up from the ground, picked up his glasses, and hobbled to the bathroom. There, he turned on the faucet and watched a red flower blossom in the sink before it quickly formed a whirlpool and disappeared. Samuel’s previous words were still reverberating in his mind.
What was going on? He didn’t understand at all.
He had thought that after going through his estrus and the life and death struggles on Red Earth, they had finally become friends.
