A man walked on the red endless plains with two kids following behind him.
This man was surprisingly the leader, and he looked quite different from how he did four days ago.
His hair was messy, his lips cracked, his face pale and his eyes were blood red.
Arlo and Joe weren't much better than him.
Four days ago, they wandered in search of the lake, however, they couldn't find it. In fact, there was no trace of such a lake in these red rocky plains.
After searching for an entire day, they gave up on their search for the lake and continued their journey to the northern continent.
However, two days ago, the old man could not bear the hunger anymore and he proposed to the leader.
"We should eat these brats, if we don't we will die."
"But they are our golden fortunes."
"What is the use of fortunes if we are not alive to enjoy it?" the old man tried to persuade him, but in the end the leader refused.
Later that evening, the old man couldn't bear it any longer and he abruptly attacked Joe, after all the leader wouldn't really punish him after the deed is done. Instead, he would join in the meal.
However, who would have thought that the leader already expected such a thing to happen, and before the old man could even reach Joe, a hand pierced his heart from behind instantly killing him.
Now, after two days, the leader, Arlo, and Joe continue to walk toward the northern continent.
Even though there was no day and night, and the sky remained crimson, Arlo was surprised to see that they could still read the flow of time.
Arlo and Joe followed behind the leader obediently as any thought of escape was already thrown far behind them.
The leader only gave them one threat "Run and I will eat you," his eyes crimson red from hunger.
Both Arlo and Joe didn't dare to test the waters so they followed obediently.

Later that evening, the endless plains finally came to an end before them and what entered their vision was a dark veil that connected the earth and the sky.
Looking both left and right, Arlo could see that the dark veil stretched endlessly into the distance as if it has no end.
They could not see anything beyond the dark veil.
"HAHAHAHA.
"Finally, the northern continent."
The leader turned to both Arlo and Joe, and pushed them to the front, his meaning very clear.
Looking at Joe's trembling figure, Arlo could not help but become confused.
Is this veil really scary?
Raising his hand, he placed it on the veil and...

"AAA.." Arlo screamed in panic but his scream was cut short as his entire body was sucked into the dark veil.

A tall figure sat in meditation with her legs crossed.
Suddenly, her eyes flashed wide open, revealing an enchanting ruby iris containing a dark slit pupil.
"This aura…" her body trembled profusely.
Then, she vanished on the spot.

Arlo found himself in endless darkness.
At first, he was scared shitless, but he soon collected himself after a short while.
He concentrated ki in his eyes, and his vision became a bit clearer.
"THIS!" however what he saw left him speechless.
He saw an endless expanse filled with grasses. However, there was no sun. In fact, there was no source of light in the sky.
There was only darkness.
Looking far into the distance, a small fort appeared in his vision. However, there was still no source of light.
What flabbergasted him even more, was how there were plants in this kind of place.
However, he soon noticed that the plants weren't the normal green, but black in color.
He didn't know the principle behind all this.
He suddenly felt movement behind him so he turned round.
Sure enough, Joe and the leader appeared together.
The instant Joe appeared, he miserably fell down, his body trembling greatly.
"Please, don't do this to me...please don't do this to me," he kept muttering.
Arlo was just about to go see what is wrong with him when...
