After he took Evelyn to buy some necessities and placed them in his storage space.
There are some dynamite sticks in the goods too just in case.
After taking these things Vicky bought two camels and left into the vast desert.
While Vicky is going around buying things candy sent Rick to keep an eye on Vicky and Evelyn.
On the other hand candy went to check the books in the library that Vicky just checked to see the destination of Vicky.
Behind them candy and Rick are following at a distance.
After coming out it is very easy for other people to discover the people following them.
So Vicky saw candy and Rick in a distance.
Vicky decisively moved towards a special direction where there is usually a mirage.
This is the escape route that he picked in order to evade candy and Rick.
Vicky did not have a problem navigating through the mirage.
He has a special compass from the treasure of captain flint.
He is using that to navigate out of this place to reach his destination.
After a week’s travel Vicky and Evelyn came to a rocky area with sheer cliff.
There is a crack on the big rocky cliff.
The strange thing is that, this crack is not a naturally formed one.
The crack has manmade structure with small opening for only 3 people to walk at the same time.
Also this opening entrance is at the foot.
Only this small opening is manmade structure.
Unless a person specifically come here to the foot of the cliff and dig some sand, one might not be able to see the opening entrance.
Because of the movements of the desert, the entrance is mostly buried.
Vicky looked around and there is no one in the visible area.
Vicky directly started to dig the area to reveal the entrance.
Then he took Evelyn and went inside.
During the journey Evelyn and Vicky are having great nights.
Out in the open desert, under the bright moon, the moans of Evelyn are a great thing to hear.
When they entered the place Vicky explained the details to Evelyn so that she can look around the place and find some markings…
The process is smooth…
Vicky knows the traps here.
There is trap of flat floor that is actually quick sand.
Because of the simulation Vicky was able to know all the traps.
There is a runic trap puzzle on the door with moving walls that threatened to crush Vicky and Evelyn.
Vicky solved the trap easily with his knowledge on runes and from simulation memories.
Then there is this fog of confusion that would create illusions of monsters and beasts of Egypt.
There are poisonous snakes in this fog.
So Vicky did not let Evelyn walk instead carried her on his back in piggy back ride.
Finally before entering the final room there is a magic runic trap.
This is where Vicky died many times in the simulation before.
As long as his sense and intelligence are weak then he will touch the scepter and get cursed by rapid aging curse.
Vicky is still carrying Evelyn on his back and specifically tied her on his back with ropes and even her hands are tied.
The magic runes produce a strange attraction that would make people touch the scepter before completing the ritual.
The ritual is very simply.
It is to touch the runes first and then get the scepter.
Evelyn did not have strong sense or intelligence compared to Vicky.
