While they are boarding the player’s ship Vicky arrived with the interceptor and boarded the ship from the other side.
The player only has limited crew and the remaining is recruited from the Tortuga port.
But after capturing the mermaids most of them died.
Now the ship is severely understaffed so they cannot fight back when Vicky attacked them suddenly from both sides.
After getting on the ship Vicky found the mermaid.
They did not touch the mermaid immediately because they are actually fleeing from the white cap bay.
