Bai Luo Luo, transformed into a young man, is even more eye-catching than his childhood self.

He is considerably shorter than Bai Hui, with a slender figure. It’s hard for anyone to imagine that just a few days ago, he had a chubby baby face. His small face, about the size of a palm, holds a pair of emerald-green eyes that look exceptionally beautiful. When he smiles, the corners of his eyes curve delicately, revealing him to be a very obedient child.

Bai Hui has found clothes for Bai Luo Luo and advised him not to casually reveal his body in front of others.

Upon hearing this, Bai Luo Luo lifted his head to look at Bai Hui and asked, “Not even in front of Bai Hui?”

Bai Hui reached out to pat his head, saying, “If Luo Luo doesn’t want to, then it’s not allowed.”

After thinking for a moment, Bai Luo Luo said seriously, “But I want to.”

Bai Hui’s emotions were complex. He was pleased that Bai Luo Luo trusted him so much, yet worried if Bai Luo Luo truly understood the implications of such trust. He said, “Well, let’s go eat first.”

Bai Hui, returning from the human realm, naturally wanted to celebrate.

Bai Luo Luo asked Bai Hui many questions about the human realm, and Bai Hui answered them all. Then Bai Hui asked Bai Luo Luo, “Do you have any memories of the human realm before coming here?”

With his mouth full of rice, Bai Luo Luo looked thoughtful and mumbled, “Some are very vague… I seem to remember liking a carrot before, but I can’t recall anything else…”

Bai Hui, helpless, said, “You’re still so young; how would you know what ‘liking’ means…”

Before he could finish, Bai Luo Luo shocked him by saying, “I like immortal. I want to have little radishes with immortal.” As he spoke, his voice became quieter, and his face turned red. Even his green eyes shimmered with a watery glow. However, his tone remained firm.

Bai Hui almost choked on the food in his mouth. He shook his shoulders uncontrollably and, after a prolonged cough, said, “Luo Luo… Do you know what it means to ‘have little radishes’?”

Bai Luo Luo straightforwardly replied, “Of course, why else would I give flowers to immortals?”

Creatures born of spiritual energy, like spirits, have reproduction as their basic instinct. Unlike humans confined by societal norms, when they reach maturity, the act of seeking a mate becomes a natural and intense behavior. Fortunately, Bai Luo Luo is an innocent radish, not a species with strong desires, or else Bai Hui would have had a hard time resisting.

Who would have thought that his radish would use such an innocent tone to say such tempting words.

Bai Hui chuckled and said, “Luo Luo, humans and radishes are a bit different in this matter. If you really want to be with me, it’s a lifetime commitment.”

Bai Luo Luo nodded and said, “I just want to be with the immortal for a lifetime.”

Bai Hui asked, “Really?”

Bai Luo Luo replied, “Really.”

During the days when Bai Hui returned to the human realm, he clearly felt that he didn’t want to be away from Bai Hui for a moment.

Bai Hui reached out, ruffled Bai Luo Luo’s head, and sighed gently, saying, “Well, this matter… doesn’t need to be rushed.”

Bai Luo Luo didn’t understand what Bai Hui was talking about, but deep down, he felt a faint disappointment.

The news of Bai Hui’s return from the human realm quickly spread throughout the entire sect. The sect leader visited again, inquiring about his experiences in the human realm.

While Bai Hui and the sect leader conversed, Bai Luo Luo listened on the side.

“The situation may not be good,” Bai Hui said. “During my time in the mortal realm, I noticed that the spiritual energy there has become much denser.”

The sect leader frowned, asking, “Why is that?”

Bai Hui explained, “It’s probably related to the fall of the Thundering Star.” The most significant difference between the cultivation world and the mortal realm lies in the abundance of spiritual energy between heaven and earth. Once the spiritual energy becomes denser, it’s likely that there will be various changes in the mortal realm. The most obvious change is that the number of demons and monsters will rapidly increase, and powerful demons will become more numerous.

The sect leader sighed, “It seems that this calamity cannot be avoided.”

Bai Hui calmly stated, “The principles of heaven follow a cycle, and everything has its destiny.”

The sect leader and Bai Hui discussed some matters that Bai Luo Luo couldn’t comprehend, seemingly related to appointments and dismissals within the sect. As Bai Luo Luo listened, he gradually became drowsy but didn’t dare to sleep openly. Instead, he sat beside Bai Hui, nodding off little by little, prompting Bai Hui to show an expression of helplessness.

The sect leader noticed, and just before leaving, he jokingly said, “Have you raised a radish, or have you raised an ancestor?”

Bai Hui chuckled without responding.

The sect leader continued, “Well, it’s indeed cute, at least more interesting than some of my disciples who are like little monkeys.” He thought of a few mischievous disciples under his care, sounding somewhat troubled.

Suddenly remembering something, Bai Hui said, “By the way, in a few days, I plan to hold a coronation ceremony for him.”

The sect leader asked, “Do you need my help?”

Bai Hui shook his head and said, “No, I’ll trouble you to watch over us for a moment when the time comes.”

The sect leader nodded and said, “Sure.”

At this point, Bai Luo Luo had already fallen asleep on the side, head drooping, breathing evenly. Bai Hui stood up, picked up Bai Luo Luo, nodded to the sect leader, and left.

The sect leader watched their backs, his eyes showing a pensive expression.

Although Bai Luo Luo had grown larger, his weight remained light and airy. When Bai Hui held him in his arms, it felt like cradling a feather.

Entering the bedroom, Bai Hui placed Bai Luo Luo on the bed. Bai Luo Luo, upon being laid down, hummed and opened his eyes, calling out to Bai Hui in a muffled voice.

“What’s wrong?” Bai Hui’s voice was gentle.

Bai Luo Luo said, “I feel like… I had a dream…”

Bai Hui asked, “What did you dream about?”

“I dreamt that you left,” Bai Luo Luo spoke, but his emerald eyes seemed unfocused, as if still trapped in the distressing dream. He continued in a low voice, “I dreamt that you soared through the clouds, flying so high. I chased after you on the ground, crying and begging you to stay, but you didn’t even look back…”

Bai Hui gently touched Bai Luo Luo’s cheek and softly said, “Don’t be afraid. I won’t go anywhere.”

Bai Luo Luo responded, “Okay, I trust you,” and closed his eyes, drifting back to sleep.

In the following days, Bai Hui prepared for Bai Luo Luo’s coronation ceremony.

Originally, a coronation ceremony involved inviting guests, but since Bai Luo Luo didn’t have many relatives and was timid, Bai Hui was afraid that too many people would frighten him. Therefore, he decided to simplify the process.

However, two essential steps couldn’t be omitted.

One was the coronation, and the other was the awakening of Bai Luo Luo’s spiritual potential.

Coronation is a ceremony that exists in the human realm as well, but the process of opening spiritual potential is unique to the cultivation world. After a child in the cultivation world undergoes coronation, their elders use spiritual power to cleanse and open the seven spiritual apertures to aid them in their cultivation. However, it’s not guaranteed that all seven apertures will be fully opened; it depends on the elder’s spiritual power and the innate talent of the younger individual.

Supernatural beings, or spirits, are different from humans in that they naturally have a strong affinity for spiritual power, and their cultivation progress is even faster than that of humans. The only downside is that without proper guidance, they are more prone to walking the wrong path.

On the day Bai Hui performed the coronation for Bai Luo Luo, the weather was clear, and a gentle breeze wafted through.

The sect leader arrived early as well.

Bai Luo Luo, dressed in ceremonial attire, was initially a bit shy, but upon hearing that only the sect leader would be present, he managed to calm down.

Bai Hui led him to a prepared altar with sacrificial offerings.

While coronation ceremonies in the human realm are elaborate and intricate, the cultivation world places less emphasis on the initial proceedings, focusing almost all attention on the final process of opening the spiritual apertures.

Bai Hui was no exception; he had prepared for this day for a long time, even carrying spiritual medicine in his mouth to restore his spiritual power. He wanted to give the best to Bai Luo Luo.

With the sect leader guarding on the side, Bai Luo Luo sat with his back to Bai Hui.

Bai Hui’s hands pressed against Bai Luo Luo’s back as he instructed, “Concentrate and hold your breath, gather your spiritual power to the seven apertures, and do not be distracted.”

Bai Luo Luo murmured in response.

Once it was confirmed that Bai Luo Luo was ready, a dense spiritual aura began to flow continuously into his body, creating a remarkably comfortable sensation. The spiritual energy was like a pure spring—crisp, cold, yet gentle. It entered Bai Luo Luo’s body and started circulating towards the seven apertures.

Everything seemed to be progressing smoothly, with each of the seven apertures gradually being opened by the spiritual energy. The process was about to conclude when an anomaly suddenly appeared in the sky.

The sect leader’s expression changed drastically, exclaiming, “Fire Meteor!?”

Even before he finished speaking, the azure sky displayed several fiery red spherical objects, resembling falling stars, leaving crimson trails across the blue sky.

Bai Hui’s expression changed subtly, but he didn’t move. Instead, he hastened to infuse more of his spiritual power into Bai Luo Luo’s body.

Bai Luo Luo sensed that this spiritual power was somewhat different from before, but he didn’t dwell on it as everything quickly came to an end.

After Bai Hui withdrew his hand, a loud noise erupted shortly after, distinct from thunder, more like a heavy object crashing onto the ground.

Startled by the sound, Bai Luo Luo was on the verge of losing focus. Fortunately, Bai Hui, by his side, slapped him firmly on the back of his head, saying, “Gather your consciousness!”

Bai Luo Luo snapped back to attention.

The sect leader, witnessing Bai Hui’s slightly pale complexion, asked, “Are you okay? We did not anticipate the arrival of the Fire Meteor today.”

Shaking his head, Bai Hui replied, “Fire Meteor?”

The sect leader explained, “Yes.”

Bai Hui sighed and said, “Fate cannot be defied…”

Observing Bai Hui’s reaction, the sect leader questioned, “Bai Hui, did you perhaps anticipate what would happen?”

Bai Hui calmly responded, “I am not a deity; how would I know?”

The sect leader considered it plausible. If Bai Hui had known about the Fire Meteor in advance, he would not have chosen this moment for Bai Luo Luo’s coronation. The Fire Meteor was not an auspicious omen.

“Rest for a while,” the sect leader advised. “I will check the situation.”

Bai Hui nodded, watching the sect leader leave.

Bai Luo Luo, having opened his seven apertures, remained in a concentrated state and only opened his eyes as evening approached. His eyes were still the same emerald green, but they seemed to radiate a different brilliance.

Bai Hui asked, “Finished?”

Bai Luo Luo, feeling joyful, replied, “Yes.”

Bai Hui said, “Good. The banquet is prepared. Let’s go and eat.”

The feast in the cultivation world consisted of spirit plants crafted into dishes, known for their warm nature and beneficial effects on the body.

During dinner, Bai Luo Luo noticed that Bai Hui’s complexion didn’t look good. Concerned, he asked, “Immortal, are you not feeling well?”

Shaking his head, Bai Hui replied, “No, it’s just that today’s expenditure of spiritual energy was excessive, but it’s nothing serious.”

Bai Luo Luo seemed to recall something and chose not to press further, remaining silent.

Bai Hui, still contemplating the Fire Meteor from earlier in the day, did not engage much in conversation with Bai Luo Luo during the meal.

As night fell and it was time to retire, Bai Hui went back to his room to rest. Feeling somewhat tired, he wanted to take a short break. However, as soon as he lay down, he heard a knock on his door.

Bai Hui asked, “Luo Luo? What’s wrong?” They had agreed that after the coronation, they would sleep separately to avoid any temptation in the morning.

Bai Luo Luo’s voice, tinged with a hint of sobbing, replied, “Immortal, I’m scared…”

Bai Hui said, “Scared? Come in and tell me.”

Bai Luo Luo entered, wearing a white nightgown with bare feet—apparently, the floor was cold, causing his round toes to curl slightly, giving him a pitiful yet adorable appearance.

Bai Hui, helpless, said, “What are you afraid of? I’m right next door.”

Bai Luo Luo hesitated for a moment before slowly approaching Bai Hui. His ears turned crimson before he even uttered a word.

Bai Hui reached out and pinched his earlobe, saying, “What’s going on? Did you do something behind my back?”

Finally gathering his courage, Bai Luo Luo said, “Immortal, I want to… do that kind of thing with you.”

Bai Hui’s breath hitched. He asked, “Luo Luo, who told you about such matters?”

Bai Luo Luo hung his head, resembling a child who had done something wrong. He admitted, “It was Xiao Lu…”

Xiao Lu had long left the courtyard, making it impossible for Bai Hui to reprimand her even if he wanted to.

Bai Hui raised Bai Luo Luo’s chin with his hand, asking, “Do you even know what you’re talking about?”

“I do,” Bai Luo Luo replied earnestly. “I am already a big radish, not a child anymore.” Blushing intensely, his emerald eyes shimmered with a moist glow. He continued, “Immortal, I like you.”

Bai Hui lowered his head and kissed Bai Luo Luo.

Bai Luo Luo was taken aback, grabbing onto Bai Hui’s shoulders with his hands.

Bai Hui said, “Luo Luo, if you regret it now, I can let you go. If you cry later, I won’t have any mercy.” He spoke through gritted teeth, as if he couldn’t resist devouring the person in front of him.

Bai Luo Luo was actually scared at this point, but he gathered his courage and said, “I’ve already been crowned; I’m not afraid anymore.”

Bai Hui dangerously narrowed his eyes and said, “Good.”

On that day, Bai Luo Luo, weak and feeble, lay on the bed, as if his tears had dried up.

Bai Hui asked him why he was crying, wondering if he had hurt him.

Bai Luo Luo wailed, “Xiao Lu is a big liar—she clearly said that we just needed to bring two flowers together, shake some pollen, and that’s it!”

In reality, it was not that simple! He was about to turn into an empty radish—

Bai Hui probably guessed what had happened, and he couldn’t help but find it amusing. He said, “Don’t cry, isn’t it comfortable?”

Bai Luo Luo sobbed, feeling wronged, “But, but it’s so embarrassing…”

Bai Hui, understanding the situation, comforted him, “Good boy, don’t cry. Isn’t it quite pleasant?”

Bai Luo Luo sniffled and said, “But it’s really embarrassing…” Initially, he happily transformed into a head full of small white flowers that adorned his green hair. However, most of those flowers were forcibly scared off by Bai Hui’s actions.

Of course, Bai Luo Luo quickly lost the energy to worry about the flowers on his head. He had other flower-related concerns on different parts of his body.

Bai Hui was indeed gentle, and Bai Luo Luo was indeed comfortable. However, from beginning to end, Bai Luo Luo was embarrassed to death. He couldn’t imagine that humans could do such things…

Eventually, Bai Luo Luo cried himself to sleep, and Bai Hui hugged him, kissing the top of his head.

The next day, Bai Luo Luo woke up.

Bai Hui woke up earlier than Bai Luo Luo and was still resting with his eyes closed. Feeling Bai Luo Luo’s gaze, he opened his eyes gently and asked, “Awake?”

Bai Luo Luo nodded, but his throat was so hoarse that he couldn’t speak.

“Stay lying down; I’ll get you some water,” Bai Hui got up.

Bai Luo Luo lay on the bed, feeling like his whole radish was hollow. Yesterday, Bai Hui had forcefully emptied him, as he had said from the beginning. Regardless of his cries, screams, or pleas, Bai Hui didn’t stop. Thinking about this, Bai Luo Luo blushed again, covering his face with his arm and muttering curses against Xiao Lu.

Xiao Lu was truly too deceitful…

Bai Hui brought water for Bai Luo Luo and fed him a little to drink. As he watched Bai Luo Luo drinking, he suddenly frowned and said, “Luo Luo… did you grow up a bit?”

Bai Luo Luo looked up in confusion and asked, “Huh?”

Bai Hui carefully examined him, making sure it wasn’t just his imagination. Indeed, Bai Luo Luo seemed more mature. If he looked like he was eighteen before, now he looked at least twenty. Bai Hui found it somewhat unbelievable and said, “Can that thing have this effect?”

Bai Luo Luo didn’t understand at first, but after drinking the water, he suddenly realized. Angrily, he said, “Pervert! Bai Hui, you’re a pervert!”

Bai Hui quickly explained, “I was just worried about you…”

“You don’t care about me at all.” Bai Luo Luo pointed out Bai Hui’s lie, “I cried so miserably yesterday, and you didn’t even stop.”

Bai Hui calmly said, “But in the end, it was you who asked me to use more force.”

Bai Luo Luo screamed, “Don’t say—”

Bai Hui continued, “You said it yourself…”

Bai Luo Luo refused to let Bai Hui continue his recounting of their intimate history and threw a bunch of radish flowers at him.

Bai Hui said, “See, now you’re playing the pervert on me…”

Bai Luo Luo snorted in anger.

Although Bai Hui was genuinely gentle, Bai Luo Luo spent the whole day lying in bed and didn’t want to get up. The worst part was that whenever he saw Bai Hui, he would be reminded of that night, feeling extremely embarrassed.

Bai Hui remained his composed, ethereal self, seemingly indifferent to their past, making Bai Luo Luo wonder if it was all just his imagination.

However, once certain things started, it was challenging to put an end to them.

After that day, Bai Luo Luo consciously tried to sleep separately from Bai Hui, but often found himself either in Bai Hui’s room or Bai Hui in his.

Bai Luo Luo, looking up at Bai Hui, couldn’t help but burst into tears.

Bai Hui sighed and said, “Why are you crying? If you don’t like it, I won’t force you.” He reached out, lifted a strand of Bai Luo Luo’s disheveled hair, and kissed it.

Bai Luo Luo said, “You’re lying.”

Bai Hui innocently replied, “How am I lying to you?”

Bai Luo Luo said, “You clearly said you wouldn’t force me…”

Bai Hui said helplessly, “But that night, you asked for it yourself.”

Bai Luo Luo protested, “But I’m not asking now!”

Bai Hui playfully tapped Bai Luo Luo’s nose, with a half-smile, saying, “Mischievous kids who lie will be punished.” Bai Hui noticed Bai Luo Luo’s body responding as well.

Angrily, Bai Luo Luo threw the blame back at Bai Hui, saying, “It’s all because you’re too good-looking.”

Indeed, Bai Hui looked exceptionally attractive, especially with the current playful smile as he looked down at Bai Luo Luo. His green hair cascaded like a waterfall, and Bai Luo Luo could even catch a glimpse of his jade-like chest and narrow waist through his partially open clothing. Although Bai Luo Luo was a naive little radish, his gender was male, and faced with such beauty, it was only natural for him to have a certain reaction.

Bai Hui leaned close to Bai Luo Luo’s ear, licked his earlobe, and said, “Yes, blame me.”

Bai Luo Luo shivered all over, looking even more pitiful.

Bai Hui continued, “Or… this time, you be on top?”

Bai Luo Luo’s eyes lit up.

Two hours later, Bai Luo Luo finally understood that there could be variations when he was on top. Once again, he cursed Bai Hui for being a big liar, but Bai Hui suppressed his laughter, saying, “If you’re taller than me, I’ll let you be on top for real.”

Bai Luo Luo kept Bai Hui’s words in mind.

The next day, Bai Luo Luo shook Bai Hui awake. Opening his eyes, Bai Hui was startled by the scene in front of him.

Bai Luo Luo was still triumphant, pointing to a radish tassel on his forehead that was over a meter long. He proudly declared, “I’m taller than you!”

Bai Hui said, “… Radish tassels don’t count.”

Bai Luo Luo widened his eyes, asking, “Why don’t they count? That’s my own leaf.”

Bai Hui pinched Bai Luo Luo’s cheek, saying, “Then, by your logic, can I count my hair as part of my height?”

Bai Luo Luo glanced at the green hair extending down Bai Hui’s back, and instantly wilted.

Bai Hui sighed, saying, “Alright, alright, be good. Eat more, practice diligently, and someday you’ll be taller than me.”

Bai Luo Luo asked, “Really?”

Bai Hui replied, “Really.”

Finally, Bai Luo Luo regained some motivation, saying, “Good! I’ll work hard!”

Bai Hui nudged Bai Luo Luo’s head with his chin, saying, “Quickly put away your radish tassel.”

Bai Luo Luo snorted and retracted it.

However, Bai Hui suddenly remembered something and hesitated, “Luo Luo, you won’t suddenly turn into a radish during our intimate moments, right?”

Bai Luo Luo’s eyes lit up, saying, “Why didn’t I think of that!”

Bai Hui: “…” Did he inadvertently give Bai Luo Luo some strange ideas?
