Even for someone who had a rough idea of the plot, Bai Luoluo still felt that Xue Hui was shrouded in mystery.
Who was he exactly? Why did he possess such formidable abilities? And what was the purpose of the prison releasing them, sentenced criminals, onto this planet? Was it merely to entertain Xue Hui?
Xue Hui maintained an air of innocence in front of Bai Luoluo. When Bai Luoluo occasionally asked him questions, he obediently answered, yet the responses only deepened the mystery surrounding his origin.
For instance, when Bai Luoluo asked when he arrived here, Xue Hui pondered for a moment, then said he had been here since birth.
When asked about his family, Xue Hui mentioned having a father and mother, but they were both sick and didn’t like to talk. Hence, he ventured out from the heart of the jungle on his own.
Bai Luoluo dared not ask Xue Hui why he came out. He feared Xue Hui would innocently respond, “I came out to have some fun,” with Bai Luoluo being one of the sources of amusement.
Navigating through the jungle was challenging, with vines and dense undergrowth everywhere. The air was excessively humid, and rain fell three or four times a day. The snake was well-hidden, and when they discovered it, it had already assumed a striking position, with vertical eyes and a hissing sound that sent shivers down the spine.
Xue Hui cooperatively showed a frightened expression, tightly gripping Bai Luoluo’s arm and softly saying, “I’m scared.”
Bai Luoluo slowly drew his **, reassuring, “Don’t be afraid.” Bai Luoluo dared not take his eyes off the snake. With a knife in his right hand and protecting Xue Hui with his left, he took slow steps backward. However, just as the two were about to exit the snake’s attack range, the snake suddenly reacted as if startled and made a move!

Red blood flowed down Xue Hui’s arm, and Bai Luoluo quickly grabbed his arm, removed the snake head, tied a rope around Xue Hui’s arm, and opened the wound in a cross shape before rinsing it continuously with clean water.
Xue Hui, already pale, now looked paper-like, and his cherry blossom-colored lips had turned somewhat gray. Slowly, he slumped into Bai Luoluo’s arms and softly said, “It hurts.”

Even for someone who had a rough idea of the plot, Bai Luoluo still felt that Xue Hui was shrouded in mystery.
Who was he exactly? Why did he possess such formidable abilities? And what was the purpose of the prison releasing them, sentenced criminals, onto this planet? Was it merely to entertain Xue Hui?
Xue Hui maintained an air of innocence in front of Bai Luoluo. When Bai Luoluo occasionally asked him questions, he obediently answered, yet the responses only deepened the mystery surrounding his origin.
For instance, when Bai Luoluo asked when he arrived here, Xue Hui pondered for a moment, then said he had been here since birth.
When asked about his family, Xue Hui mentioned having a father and mother, but they were both sick and didn’t like to talk. Hence, he ventured out from the heart of the jungle on his own.
Bai Luoluo dared not ask Xue Hui why he came out. He feared Xue Hui would innocently respond, “I came out to have some fun,” with Bai Luoluo being one of the sources of amusement.
Navigating through the jungle was challenging, with vines and dense undergrowth everywhere. The air was excessively humid, and rain fell three or four times a day. Xue Hui cooperatively showed a frightened expression, tightly gripping Bai Luoluo’s arm and softly saying, “I’m scared.”
Bai Luoluo slowly drew his **, reassuring, “Don’t be afraid.” Bai Luoluo dared not take his eyes off the snake. “Who’s there.” The jungle seemed a little different today than it had been in the past, the sounds of insects were loud and even seemed a little noisy.
The man’s steps were wary as he circled around, all without seeing any suspicious traces. In his heart, he was pondering whether he was too suspicious, but then he turned around and saw a man appear in front of him.
This person appeared too abruptly, startling the man as he said, “What is it?!”
“Hello.” The visitor did greet very politely, his voice was very light and soft, like spring water flowing through a mountain stream at night, “I have some things that I want to ask you.”
The man, through the hazy moonlight, finally saw the visitor’s face clearly. His breath caught in his throat, and he even wondered if he had seen a mountain elf, for the man had white hair and purple eyes, as if all the words he could use could not describe his beautiful face.
The prettier something was, the more dangerous it was, and the man was wary, “What is it?”
“The kind of thing you guys did just now, was it comfortable?” The visitor looked like an inquisitive child, but unfortunately the question asked made the man a bit flabbergasted.
“Two men, they can do that too?” With a strong sense of doubt and anticipation on his pretty face, the visitor seemed to know nothing about such things.
The man’s mind was stirred with some evil intent by the question, he grinned and said, “You want to know?”
The visitor nodded.
The man said, “Just come over here and I’ll try it with you.”
The pretty elf cocked his head at that and said, “But I don’t want to try it with you.”
The man said, “I’m familiar with that kind of thing, I know how to make you feel good, don’t believe me, come over.” As he said that, he tentatively took a few steps forward.
However, seeing that he was about to get close to this beauty that didn’t look like a human, the vines around him looked like they had suddenly come to life, and directly hoisted his entire body up. The man’s face revealed a look of horror as he called out for help in terror. The beauty was too annoyed with him, and with a wave of his hand directly sealed his mouth.
“Well, it’s comfortable just fine.” Getting the answer he wanted, the beauty’s eyes were all full of anticipation as he said, “I want to try it with Ling.”
As he said this, he smiled contentedly to himself, then turned around and left without looking back. He didn’t care about the man hanging upside down from the vines behind him.

Bai Luo Luo’s quality of sleep since coming to this world was quite high, and today was no exception, he opened his eyes and yawned, and found that Xue Hui, who normally should have woken up a long time ago, was surprisingly still sleeping today.

There was a fruit tree nearby that Bai Luoluo had spotted earlier. Following his memory, he headed in its direction, contemplating today’s lunch. Having a big eater around who turned greedy at the sight of meat, Bai Luoluo had to play the role of a responsible chef.
As he was lost in these thoughts, he heard a faint crying sound. Although it was barely audible, Bai Luoluo perceived it keenly, immediately halting in his tracks.
“Who’s crying?” Bai Luoluo asked the system. “Should I go check it out?”
The system responded, “Be cautious and ensure your safety.”
Bai Luoluo nodded and walked towards the direction of the crying.
As he approached, the crying grew louder, and eventually, Bai Luoluo found the source beneath a tree.
There was a man kneeling on the ground, crying. However, what caught the attention wasn’t the crying man but the blood and scattered corpses around him. The corpses were in gruesome states, with mosaic effects suggesting dismemberment.
The crying man was frail, curled up, tears streaming down his face.
Observing from the side for a moment, Bai Luoluo showed no intention of approaching. On this planet, everyone was a convict, and even those who seemed kind had undoubtedly committed serious crimes.
After a moment of thought, Bai Luoluo remained silent, turned, and intended to leave. However, after taking a few steps, he heard hurried footsteps behind him. The frail man who had been crying and sitting on the ground had noticed Bai Luoluo leaving and rushed over. Seeing Bai Luoluo, he expressed joy, then knelt down, crying, “Please help me, please help me, I’m willing to do anything—anything!”
Bai Luoluo furrowed his brows and asked, “Help you with what?”

Bai Luoluo coldly drew out his knife and said, “Do you want to die?”
The man finally released his grip upon seeing the knife, but tears continued to stream down his face. However, Xue Hui remained unfazed. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to help, but the reality was he couldn’t. If he brought this person back and he unintentionally offended Xue Hui, the man would probably meet an even swifter end. Xue Hui looked bewildered, feeling like an innocent husband being questioned about infidelity—oh, the word “innocent” might have been crossed out when Xue Hui, looking displeased, noticed the newcomer cautiously emerging from the woods.
