In a cave-like room that was dark, damp, and lit with light orbs, a gloomy young man was crucified to the wall.
The black-haired man looked like a fallen angel for he had four slim wings that had lost theirs shines after being impaled by power sealing nails. Just like the man, the wings were also crucified to the wall. His body was slender, almost malnourished. He was motionless, breathless yet a majestical aura of magic and battle surrounded him, making it harder for the imprisoners to even breathe.
Eight old and young experts used hand sings to cast a spiritual barrier that imprisoned the lifeless man.
"He has been lifeless like this for years. I can't even feel his breath. Ancestor, why are we still here? When will we be able to leave?" A young expert asked.
It has been 12 years since they were tasked to crucify this man and oversee his body whilst using a barrier to seal him. "12 whole years...maybe we will be able to leave soon." The old man muttered.
Suddenly, the crucified man's eyes opened and he suddenly started laughing, scaring the soul out of the experts who used hand signs to reinforce the seal as fast as they could. With his waves of laughter, their heart thundered, threatening to hammer their way out of their chest.
Anyone would be scared out of their wits if a breathless man suddenly starts laughing
"Hahaha, Grace our son is still alive!" Chains rattled and thunder rumbled as Meifyr cracked a laugh; however, the seal suppressed him so badly that his bone rattled and soon after, cracked under the pressure but he still smiled.
"Elder brother, what's the happy occasion that's causing you to laugh so wildly?" A pretentious voice resounded as a man step inside the cave with a hand fan held in his hand.
"Dirty rat, you still have the face to call me brother?" The fallen angel, Meifyr laughed at the appearance of the backstabbing sissy.
"Your Highness!" The members of the sealer clan respectfully bowed to the pretentious young man who entered the dark cave from the outside and they continued with a respectful tone but their voice shivered.
"This devil son is still alive. Crown prince Sin Clair is still alive. The last remaining root of the family we destroyed 12 years ago is still alive!" The ancestor said, a horrified expression on his face.
Hearing his words, his highness felt a shiver up his spine.
"Immediately, summon the divination master! Tell him to use the Nine lock Ancient divination to track down the crown prince, no matter how much lifeforce he needs to spend even if it means his death. If he doesn't follow my order then execute his entire family!" the young man commanded with a contorted face, jealousy and hatred seethed out of his body.
"Your end is nigh just as destined, little rat, now is the time you make a run for it. You probably have a decade or so left before he chops off your head!" Meifyr added salt to his injury as revenge for what's been done to him, in the very moment, ten nails impaled into his body causing him to shut up and fall unconscious.
"Meyer, you stubborn bastard, if I didn't need your bloodline, do you think you will be alive?" The young man angrily said while walking out of the cave.
Currently, he didn't know where the child is, and only after killing that child will he find peace.
"Maybe, there's a chance of obtaining that item from his body too. No, he might very well have the pendant of Night!" The man thought while walking back to his Grand Xie Palace. "The rest depends on old man divination if even he fails then I will wait for the bait to fall in my trap! Hehehe,"
He insidiously thought while sitting on the throne meant for the destined son of heaven, Whittaker!
