He appeared on the training ground. Elder Zachary and Nina were already anticipating his arrival.

Seeing him appear, Zachary pulled out three scrolls of teleportation and handed them over to him.

"Use them when you want to return to the palace or explore other places in the wind kingdom. You can safely teleport to anywhere within the land of wind by using it but outside of the land there's a high chance to face spatial disturbance," he explained.

When Whittaker gazed at the scrolls, Noah notified him of its effect.

[Teleportation spatial gateway scroll

Rank: Mid-Mysterious

Grade: Perfect.

Useable: 3/3 times

Effect: The scrolls absorbs 100% necessary mana from nature to create a spatial gateway to a pinpoint location of your choosing. Requires 6 seconds to create a spatial gateway, the spatial gateway won't be formed if disturbed in the middle of forming. If the spatial gateway is attacked, the teleporting party will suffer mild to disastrous level spatial disturbance. Max amount of people that can travel through the spatial gateway at a time is 6, anymore and it won't be safe]

The Teleportation scroll is crafted by combining a piece of talisman, magical rune designs formed from Wind-type beast blood and space-type beast blood, and five or more pieces of stabilizing runic metal to stabilize the spatial gateway. Each cost a lot, especially the stabilizing runic metals, they are rare and their starting price is 1k+ platinum.

"Thank you, Elder!" Whittaker replied happily while storing the teleportation scroll into his spatial ring.

He then used a teleportation scroll and opened up a spatial gateway to the monster tower.

"Elder sister Nina pinky promise you will teach me the way of cooking after I return," he said to Nina while extending his pinky towards her. The last few days, he just didn't get the time to learn the profession Magic Chef. Now that he had three days off from lectures, he wanted to make sure that he will be able to learn the profession of Magic Chef from Nina.

"I pinky promise!" She said while intertwining his little finger with hers and shaking it up and down.

And so, a promise was made.

"I will take my leave then," Whittaker said respectfully and turned around to leave.

"Goodbye and take care," Nina wished him well.

Elder Zachary, on the other hand, silently watched him enter the spatial gateway. Just as he was about to be teleported to the monster tower, he said with a mysterious smile,

"Young friend, remember my words. The real danger of the monster tower are not the monsters but other races and… humans,"

Hearing his words, Whittaker smiled and successfully teleported to the other side. He already knows what danger lies in the monster tower. Not only that, he lots a lot more about that place.

There's only one monster tower in the entire world but its entrances are scattered throughout the awakened continent. The entrances of the Monster tower are also called monster towers as they all share the same resemblance with the monster tower. Each entrance has 100 floors above them, each floor stacked on top of each other.

Since the monster tower entrances are scattered throughout the world, all beings can participate in it. That includes elf that reside within the mystic forest, dwarves that live in the land of the earth, dragonkin's of the flame land, the barbarians and fauns of the land of wind, and lastly the Abaddon savages and shamans.

According to legends, Monster tower is a game created by a God. On its hundredth floor, the king's throne resides the treasure of God. The treasures are said to be able to change fate and destiny. Anyone who reaches the top is eligible to obtain one of the treasure; However, since the beginning of time, there's no record of anyone reaching the King's throne.

"At least, I didn't find records about one," Whittaker muttered while placing his hand on the log-in mystical symbol inscribes on the base of the Monolith. The symbol lit up and a message that only he could see popped up,

‹Unregistered contestant detected! Are you sure you want to participate as a contestant in the monster tower?›

A semitransparent screen with a keyboard opened up in front of him.

Normally, everyone has to register in the monster tower and start from floor 0 to climb up. The last time Whittaker had visited this place with Elder Zachary, a privileged person who was granted the title Ruler in the Monster Tower. Rulers are those people who have completed special missions of the tower spirit "Jafar" to gain "Status" and "Authority". These two, however, are only applicable inside the Monster tower. Rulers are granted different privileges depending on their ranking. For example, Elder Zachary used his authority to being Whittaker directly to the 31st floor without him needing to register.

"Yes!" Whittaker typed in and pressed enter.

Suddenly, a welcoming message popped up on the screen and at the same time, a stream of resplendent light shone down from the skies and created a gateway that had a '0' drawn on its middle.

‹Money, Power, Fame, Status, Second-life, family, Friends, Endless treasure, whatever your heart desires can be found inside the Monster power but you have to earn it with your prowess. Now enter the Monster tower and begin your adventures›

As Whittaker stepped into the spatial gateway he felt a tingling sensation all over his body. It wasn't a horrible feeling and Whittaker didn't felt troubled by it. He was pretty calm for he knows that he's being registered as a contestant.

"Condense my registration number on the index finger," Whittaker thought, and the tingling feeling traveling through his body condensed at his finger. Right after, the Monster tower registration number formed on his index finger. They were multiple tiny dots, nothing impressive.

He walked straight through the spatial gateway and a few moments later, he arrived at a damp, dark place. There was a giant lowered portcullis behind him, hidden behind the steel bars was something secretive.
