The corrupted one was surrounded by chaotic malignant aura. The malignant aura was holding its own against the Holy Light. There were countless eyes on its shadowy mangled body. The eyes were as dark as the abyss.
This was the first time Whittaker get to take a real look at the corrupted one. His Silver icy eyes stared at the abyssal dark eyes. Instantly, murmuring filled his head and evil thoughts filled his minds. Red filled his eyes, and his breathing turned ragged as he tried to resist the temptation to commit evil. However, the thought of murder continued to blind the eyes of the young boy.
This didn't escape Nina's and Elder Zachary's attention. Nina immediately placed her hands on his eyes and clarity returned to Whittaker's mind.
"What just happened. I was thinking of killing you both and myself and…" Whittaker felt disturbed, such evils thoughts it couldn't possibly be him.
"The corrupted one tried to enslave you. Don't look at its eyes, or you will lose your sanity," Nina said.
The corrupted one was too strong. It could corrupt Whittaker even though it was in a separate boundary.
Once corrupted, a person lose all their sanity. They get consumed by bloodlust. The only thought a corrupted person have is to kill!
"Hmph! This corrupted one really had a lot of tricks up their sleeves. Nothing less expected of a demon." Elder Zachary felt angered. Because his precious student had suffered under the corrupted one hand, he wanted to hurriedly annihilate it. "Nina, increase the output of the Holy light to 20%!"
"As you command!" Nina said. She didn't consider it to be a waste of resources, as the corrupted one needs to be killed fastly.

The powerful malignant beam pushed by the holy light by a bit. But that was all it did.
The holy light was as fast as the speed of light and it was projected towards the corrupted one. Similarly, the strength of the holy light was powerful enough to burn it. The wounds could not be regenerated either.

Before death the corrupted one murderously glared at them. However, this time Whittaker didn't look at its eyes, as he have learned his lesson. Elder Zachary evaded its gaze of corruption.
