"Are you trying to resist arrest?" Under Danzo's leadership, the Root members showed complete confidence. They seemed to have completely disregarded the strength difference between the two sides.

Hatake could also guess what his brother meant, even though he can't disobey the Hokage he was the former anbu commander. Not just anybody can order him around even if you are Hokage assistant you are not qualified.
In the next instant, two white shadows disappeared at the same time, turning into afterglows that were imperceptible to the naked eye and vanished in a flash in front of the Root team.
When everyone reacted, they saw the two brothers reappear on the left and right sides of the Root team. Slowly, they retracted their katanas into their scabbards.
