cw: incest and noncon

He didn’t want to wake up to the musty smell. It didn’t smell like Cha Yiseok’s house. Yaba’s eyelids and tongue twitched from the anesthetic. The floor of the room felt humid, as if it had been scorched for a long time. He opened his bleary eyes to see the torn walls and scarred windows stare back at him.

“Ugh…”

His bones ached, each one seemingly out of place. Rewinding his memory before he lost consciousness, he recalled Kang Giha had stormed the apartment and tried to drag Yaba away. After singing for the snake, he screamed. The scene of the thugs’ heads exploding was a blur of anesthetic-induced hallucinations and reality. At that moment, Cha Yiseok struck Yaba’s thoughts. The cells from his heels to his crown tingled. Trying to jump up, he fell down quickly.

Only then did he realize his wrists and ankles were bound. The blue tape was tightly wrapped around Yaba’s ankles, and his wrists were tied behind his back. He just knew he had to get out of here, leaving behind figuring out where he was or who had done this to him. He hobbled toward the door and stumbled off-balance.

Suddenly, Yaba caught sight of a field jumper and helmet in the corner of the room, and he stiffened at the sound of the door opening. A straight leg stepped through the doorway while the person’s face was hidden by the underside of the table. The man lowered the plate to the floor and picked himself up. Wet footsteps echoed.

“Did you hit your head? You shouldn’t be moving yet…”

It took Yaba a beat to recognize the man’s voice. His jet-black eyes met the other’s, and he froze as if he had been hit by a sudden chill. Sejun picked himself up and set him down on the futon. Yaba stared at him, paralyzed. No matter how hard he tried to connect the dots between the apartment raid and Jang Sejun, it was impossible.

But one thing was certain. There was no way Jang Sejun would find out he was alive on his own. There’s only one person in the world who would have him at his fingertips.

“Cocaine… did he order this?”

“Oh, no…”

Jang Sejun averted his eyes. He still couldn’t lie. Yes, of course it was like that. Yaba glared at him, his eyes boiling.

“My expectations of you were dashed a long time ago, so I’m not surprised anymore. I don’t need any of this, so let go of me.”

“…”

“I said, untie this.”

The immature boyish tone was not suitable for intimidation. Sejun just fiddled with the tape around his ankles.

“If I untie it… Sejin will run away… Then I’ll be… angry and can’t control myself…”

“…”

“They say there’s going to be a clean building here soon, but everyone in all but two houses were kicked out… Even if Sejin screams, they won’t come… One house is occupied only by a deaf old lady, and the other one is occupied by an uncle who cries drunk every day…”

Sejun pulled up a table.

“You must be hungry, right? You’ve been sleeping since yesterday… you haven’t eaten anything…”

“Let me go!”

Yaba kicked the table, sending side dishes and soup spilling over and staining Jang Sejun’s knees. Kang Giha’s words echoed in his mind: Imsoo was a former assassin. He’d made a name for himself in the underworld as a contract killer, and he’d never let Kang Giha down.

“Give me your phone. I need to call someone. Now!”

Sejun’s shoulders stiffened.

He needed to know that Cha Yiseok was okay so he wouldn’t go crazy. Please, at least just that…!

“Then find out… what happened to Cha Yiseok. You know his home phone number, don’t you? He’s the son of the family you worked for. Just find out what happened to him!”

“Why…”

The other man made a pained groan.

“Why are you worried about someone like that? Chaewoo said that that man deceived everyone, took away Sejin and confined you… But why are you worried? That man did bad things to Sejin.”

“The Cocaine you believe in is the one who is wicked! Cut the bullshit and find out if he’s okay!”

“I thought Sejin was dead… But why… why didn’t you contact me if you were alive? I had been wanting to die the whole time…”

“You’re better off dead! Or I’ll kill you both with my own hands!”

He crawled to the door. Jang Sejun lifted his 100-kilogram body and dropped it on the futon. This time, he was rougher. His eyes blazed with fire.

“Do you want to go to that man?”

He asked with a groan.

“Do you like him… that much?”

Sejun was furious at his own words, and he immediately crushed Yaba. Clothes hung loosely from his powerful physique, revealing his bare upper body. Sejun groped at his bare chest and collarbone. The reddened earlobes and labored breath resembled the vulnerability just before violating his mouth like the old times. Sejun lowered his zipper with hesitation. The protruding penis did not match his childlike behavior.

As his face fell, a fleshy tongue swirled across Yaba’s flesh. His jaw was nibbled, his nape chewed. His nipples were covered in saliva and moans. He shouldn’t have taken this senseless lust out on his brother. No, it was already beyond that. He felt nauseous.

Yaba kicked Sejun’s thigh with his bound leg. Nevertheless, the other didn’t budge. A pair of pruning shears stood next to the old dresser. The bloody blades resembled the baseball bats he’d seen in his house. Sejun massaged his buttocks tightly and then grabbed them from both sides and spread them apart.

“Hah… haa… I… can’t… hold it in. I was going to wait until Sejin forgave me, but…!”

“Ugh…! Don’t do it, you crazy bastard!”

Jang Sejun rubbed his penis against the crotch and began to push his glans downward. His blood drained as he struggled, his bound hands sank to the floor. Jang Sejun squeezed and shook Yaba’s penis as he grabbed the shriveled scrotum beneath it. Then the hot touch trembled, and then the movement stopped suddenly. Jang Sejun pulled his hand away from the scrotum in bewilderment.

No matter how little there was, he would recognize that there was nothing there. An older brother with an adult body and an underdeveloped mind, and a younger brother with an adult mind and an underdeveloped body. It was a reunion between two halves of a brother. Yaba whispered to the shocked Jang Sejun.

“Do you remember? I was kidnapped on Christmas Day ten years ago. The day you got bedeviled with Cocaine and left me behind.”

Jang Sejun opened and closed his mouth, making bizarre noises, and then said without an excuse.

“I- I’m sorry…”

Compared to what Yaba had endured over the years, this repentance was unparalleled in its misery. The family who hadn’t even acknowledged him abandoned Yaba. They left him lonely and afraid. If Jang Sejun had listened to the first song he’d ever sung, the one he’d tried to sing to him all those years ago, he would not have harbored hatred. And he would not have been castrated. Yaba glared at him, his eyes alive with ferocity.

“Don’t think you can get away with some words. What you threw away that day was something you shouldn’t have thrown away in any case. You threw away something you shouldn’t have thrown away at all, and you did it without any guilt! You’re the one who made me like this! You broke me! Why didn’t you just blow your brains out and die a clean death instead of showing up now?”

He wanted to punch Jang Sejun in the back, but his limbs were bound. He crushed his chest with his head, biting through his clothes and the flesh underneath.

“Why did you abandon me?! Why?! Why—!”

As a child, Hyungwook once caught a lizard. It was a small, light blue lizard. Hyungwook suggested cutting open the lizard’s stomach. He hated the house with only Jang Sejun in it. The smell of urine and feces was overpowering. He wanted to hold on to his time with Hyungwook no matter what. So with Hyungwook, he cut open the lizard’s belly. They cut off its tail and removed its genitals.

Was the lizard a father looking for food for its young? Was it on its first independent journey? It wasn’t his own demons that killed the lizard, but his family’s insensitivity. It was they, not this ugly jealousy, who poisoned Cocaine!

“Don’t include me in your fanatical games! I don’t care if you lick Cocaine’s ass or not, so please don’t show up in front of me, please…!”

He just wanted to be comfortable again, not a crazy psycho, not a drug addict, just a person, just a person, that’s all. Yaba sagged, breathing hard. Jang Sejun rolled over and buried his head in his lap.

“I’m sorry… I’m sorry… Until you forgive me… I’ll do everything for you. I’ll do anything…”

He closed his eyes. Something wet drenched his brain and wet his face.

“Untie… this.”

“I’m sorry…”

“Untie, bastard.”

“…I don’t care what you do to me… I just want to be with you…”

The ragged language fell into Yaba’s lap. He begged him to give him everything, but he wouldn’t give him what he wanted most. It was a holy loyalty that disregarded even blood.

T/N: Gloomy chapter… but anyways it’s Yaba’s birthday (14/2)!
