Yesterday, I suddenly received a system notice that my book could be put on the shelf. I was really excited.
It took less than half a year since the shift was opened on November 29 last year. Although there is a big gap compared with those great gods, even some slightly famous authors are much better than me.
In fact, writing more than 700000 words to get on the shelf is not a good result. I've read a lot of books in the bookstore. I signed a contract with more than 200000 words and put 300000 on the shelves. Compared with them, my works are much inferior.
The original intention to start writing novels was also influenced by those great gods. On the other hand, it can be regarded as fulfilling one's dream. When I was reading, I thought about writing a book, but at that time, many plots and plots could only copy the passages in Hong Kong martial arts novels.
When they get to work, the people around them are all busy, and few people will calm down and write something. After experiencing many things, I found that many situations around me would fit in with the novel to some extent. That's why I had the idea of stopping to write something
I think what many authors want to write is to express themselves. They want to show their other side to others. Or those who have had similar dreams to express themselves from another angle.
Until the emergence of the online novel platform, I found that there were still a group of dream compilers here. I can express what I think in my heart in another way. Isn't that what I want. Here, readers don't care about your education, work experience or setbacks. In this platform where I can't see each other's face, I can have the opportunity to give full play to myself.
As a part-time writer, I can only code words in my spare time, so there will inevitably be some negligence in the chapters. I also began to take time to modify it.
After signing the contract, I thought about lengthening the chapter to look like 6K + in a single chapter, but after I wrote a chapter, I found it really difficult to do so every day. After that, I tried to write two 4K + chapters a day. Obviously, I didn't think the writing was very smooth later.
Finally, I still return to the original way, and arrange about 3K + words in each chapter. Sometimes when my thoughts are strong, I can slightly more, without creating anything.
In fact, the idea, or inspiration, is flashed in my mind. It's best to write it down immediately if you grasp it. If you deliberately count the words, you lose your original intention.
The small achievements at this stage all depend on my perseverance. In fact, there are many times when I feel I want to give up and find these things very difficult. In fact, as long as you stick to it and survive a painful period, you will find that ideas and inspiration will suddenly flash in your head.
