"Ise-kun, who is this pretty girl with you and Asia" Akeno asks.
Issei was about to say something, but Merlin stops her and continues, "How do you all do, 'Devils' of the Gremory, my name is Merlin, it's a pleasant to meet your acquaintance"
She bowed elegantly.
"Ise, did you tell her about us?" Rias asks, narrowing down her eyes.
"Um-I did not Bucho, she is a skilled magician, and her deducting skills are pretty much similar to mine, so it was only a matter of time she figure you all out"
"Is that so?" Rias nodded in affirmation.
"Would it be polite for me to ask certain things, Buccho-sama?" Merlin asked.
Rias, looked up and replied with a smile, "Please go ahead"
"I am 'ears', I hear everything, and I do know about famous youngsters, which includes you, 'Rune Princess' and Fuukbuccho-sama [1], 'The Priestess of Lightning', I am crazy about, magic and demonic powers, I am crazy about knowledge, would it be alright, if you all show me your abilities" Merlin had starry eyes, when she asked.
Indded Issei knew about Merlin's personality, she was mad about magic, demonic and angelic powers.
If she found something new, she would just disappear for days researching for it, she probably came here to learn about the abilities of the demons residing here.
Issei sighed.
Then there was a knock on the door.
"Please come in" Akeno said.
It was the Student Council President, and the Vice-President along with their secretary Saji.
"Yo, Hyodo" Saji waved towards Issei, he nodded in affirmation.
"Sona, what brings you here?" Rias asks.
"Remember it's today" Sona replies with a smile.
"I remember, today we will do a little friendly contest about whose household brought in more pacts, and the winner gets to punish the loser" Rias said, with a victory smile.
'Was there something like that?' Issei thought in his mind.
"Who is the beautiful lady over there?" Saji asks punching Issei.
Something shone in Rias's eyes at that moment.
"Sona, I know, how about you take part in Merlin-san's experiment regarding our abilities, that will be your punishment and it will be a welcoming gift for one of Ise's friends as well"
"Huh?" Sona could not comprehend what she just said.
Akeno explained the situation to about what the young mage Merlin wanted to Sona and Issei explained it to Saji.
The competition of which of the Devils in a following territory was a common game for young devils to show-off whose services are better. Usually it's held once every three months.
Tsubaki, the fuukukaichu[1], spoke, "Our, the Sitri group collected a total of 115, pacts, out of which none were, life pacts, pacts made by our pawn- 10" after which Tsubaki, puts a file on the table.
Saji's chest fills with pride.
Akeno spoke now, with a bright smile on her face, she said "Our, Gremory group, collected a total of 310, pacts out of which, 2 where life pacts, pacts made by our pawn-210" after that Akeno keeps a file on the table.
The pride filled chest which belonged to Saji suddenly shattered, he still lost to Issei, even when it came to pacts.
Sona could only sigh, but she still was curious about the pawn which belonged to Rias Gremory, just how strong was he, or how good is he in coaxing.
But in the end she lost.

At night…
"Thank you, Bucho-sama, Fuukubucho-sama, Kaichou-sama and Fuukachiou-sama, for helping me out in my little experiment" Merlin bowed.
The rest smiled, apart from the people mentioned, Asia, Saji, Koneko, Kiba and Issei were present as well.
"[Blank Field]" Merlin said as she and the rest were teleported to a black space, it was absolutely nothing.
"Where are we Ise-san?" Asia asks sticking close to Issei.
"This is one of Merlin's abilities, [Blank Field], a different dimension, which she created especially just for experiments.
"Your friends must have massive mana reserves to be able to pull off this feat" Sona says.
"She certainly does"
After sometime, Merlin spoke, "How about you Fuukubucho-sama? Would you like to try out first?"
Akeno nodded as she transformed into a priestess clothing.
"Please use your strongest ability at its pinnacle and direct it towards me" Merlin said, with a smiling expression.
"But, that will kill you" Akeno showed concern for the mage.
"Do not worry, just go ahead"
"Alright, if you insist" after saying that Akeno flew higher.
Then she chanted something and, eight layers of yellow and white magic array were formed.
"[Absolute Lightning: Dragon Wrath]" Akeno spoke and from those magic array a twin dragon, one white and one yellow in color.
Those two dragons were rushing towards Merlin, but she just smiled.
"[Consume]" the only thing that Merlin said and the entire spell casted by Akeno was sucked in a small black hole.
Akeno's face lost colors.
So did the rest of them.
Ise whispered to Rias, "Here's something only for the two of us, Merlin there, is the daughter of 'God in the Bible'"
