It was night and Issei was standing near an alley. He was waiting for Rias, since she said; she would go with him to the client's house, by foot instead of jumping through a magic sphere.
After sometime, he saw Rias she was wearing a black dress and here long crimson hair tied.
"How do I look?"
"Pretty" Issei replied with a smile, she indeed looks pretty.
"Is that so, thanks!" she too replied with a smile, as both of them walked down.
There was silence between them for some time, but then Rias became the first person to break it…
"So, the girl Merlin, how long have you known here?"
"For a very long time now"
"Where did you first meet her?"
"If I say that, I will be exposing by past and I want my past hidden, I can't say that…hope you do not mind"
"Is that so, if that's what you want I will not pry" Rias remained calm, but her heart ached, as she still could not get any close to him, the whole point of this going together with him was, to get to know him better, that they can know each other better.
But he shut off his past, it must have been filled with deep scars that are incurable, must be the reason he avoided the question…after some time she stopped mulling over it.
"Do you like her?"
"As a woman? No….as a high maintenance-kid sister, yes"
"So, if she is the daughter, of the 'God in the Bible' wouldn't she-"
Rias was cut off, when Issei said, "We are here"
She looked up…it was a normal house, but something was off about it.
Issei walked near the door and knocked.
After sometime, a woman wearing a white apron opens up the door, she has her hair tied…brown hair, she seemed to look like a mother.
"Hello, Miss Tamakachi; were you the one who summoned us?" Rias asks with the upmost politeness.
After few seconds, "Are you both the devil?" she said, her voice was filled with tiredness and sadness.
"We are" Issei replied.
"Please come in then"
They followed her inside.
It was quiet, the hose that is.
Like not a single soul was present…only a lonely mother, who needs company..cough..cough.. I got sidetracked sorry.
"Please have a seat, do you need anything" she asked.
"No, please, it's fine"
Issei quickly replied back, he was actually checking the woman's condition.
She was sleepless, she has high fever, and her joints must definitely be aching.
Judging by the way she is working, a single parent, and the father most definitely abandoned them…one child at the most.
Issei already made enough deductions, now all it remained why her condition was like this? That was making him curious.
"Madam, what do you need us for?" Rias asks.
The lady sits down, and said "I have been facing a lot, truth to be told I just can't take it anymore…day by day I prayed, but they never got answered, all I wanted to, was lead a happy family but all of it were taken away, it just disappeared"
Both Rias and Issei kept quiet.
"My husband ran out on me, he just ruined ten years of marriage because our daughter's physiological condition wasn't proper, at first he showed that he tried his best to cure our daughter, but after sometime, he just abandoned both mother and daughter to their fate and left"
It was only the first time meeting this two kids, yet she vented up what was inside her…'She really must be alone, no one to talk to, one of the major reasons she is tired, I'm surprised seeing her willpower that she is even alive'
Issei thought.
"What exactly happen?" Rias asks.
"My daughter was born different, in short she was like a doll, she had absolutely no emotions whatsoever, she didn't cry, she didn't laugh, she didn't share any pain…it was hard for us, it was hard for me to see my daughter in that state, I always consoled her…at some point she must have realized that I was being hurt, so she started showing fake smiles…but I figured those out, which still made my heart ache"
After a little more crying she continued…
"But few months earlier, her conditions changed, she started actually smiling, I became very happy, because all parents want their children to be happy…..but I didn't knew, my daughter's physiology would change so drastically"
"Madam, I know it's impolite, but please, tell us everything from the beginning and the reason why you summoned us" Issei said, with a firm voice.
"Alright, let me tell you, how my daughter became love struck, what you people call the term is 'Yandere'"
