Nina got up from her seat and greeted her back. After putting the hand on her chest and bowing her head in greeting, Nina asked.

“How did you get in?”

Rose fairy, Alka, smiled.

“There is no place I cannot go.”

“No, the kids would be guarding the……”

Alka raised both hands and waved them around, glitter-like dust appeared and countless rose petals began to flutter. Nina felt like she would get drunk by the thick rose scent.

Alka’s eyes lit up.

“There is no one who does not listen to me, for I am a fairy.”

‘Wow~’

Nina said as she grabbed her hair that was being swept back and forth.

“I think this is enough.”

“My, my. Well, you’re also a spirit contractor. It doesn’t work well for other contractors. Besides, Dame Nina is-.”

“If you don’t stop, I will cut you.”(Benzel)

“Oh my goodness?”

Alka looked behind her and found Benzel. Nina was going to say it was okay, but Benzel opened his mouth first.

“You have to be careful. She hypnotized the people-.”

Ururu.

Alka became numerous rose petals that collapsed to the ground.

‘What?’

Nina panicked, but Alka appeared behind Benzel. Gorgeous fairy wings sprouted from her back.

‘Wing?!’

“Oh my, oh my, the abandoned dog is here. Come here, doggy, doggy, doggy.”

Benzel clenched his teeth and swung the sword, but Alka lightly avoided it.

“The Sun is protecting you. Oh my, Dame Nina seems to be quite generous.”

Alka, who smiled softly, stepped back and stood next to Nina.

“Stay away!”

As Benzel spoke with momentum, Alka hid behind Nina sticking out her tongue like a child throwing a silly provocation.

Nina raised her hand in the chaotic situation to calm both down.

“Benzel, I’m fine. This is my guest.”

Benzel lowered his sword slowly, but still did not take his watchful eye from Alka. Nina asked.

“How did you know we were here?”

“That……..”

“He was secretly peeping on you.”

As Alka spoke like a song, Benzel’s face turned red.

“No! It’s not that, I just came to talk to you… and saw you resting…”

His words gradually diminished, and his head bowed. Alka giggled at him, and Nina looked back at her.

As expected, sparkling wings were sprouting from behind her back. Knowing that Nina’s gaze was on her, Alka let out a chuckle and fluttered her wings.

Iridescent light powder flew in the air.

“Are my men okay?”

At Nina’s question, Alka erased her playfull energy and nodded her head. She knew instinctively that she shouldn’t be playing with that topic

“Yes, I’m not the enemy. They just thought I was a maid.”

“In this outfit and your looks?”

Nina realized how great her ability was.

“Besides, I didn’t even sneak in.”

Alka suddenly grunted and shook her body. She continued in a small voice.

“I couldn’t get in without stepping on the shadows.”

“Ah.”

Nina nodded unconsciously.

“Then I will formally introduce myself. Alka Moaranti, my friends call me Alka, and my enemies also call me Alka.”

Alka laughed and twirled in place.

“So please call me Alka.”

“My name is Nina La Dell, the Commander of the Dark Knights. Please call me Nina too. I have heard from the Duchess.”

Appreciating Nina’s courteous attitude, Alka reached out her hand in a childish lady-like manner. Nina held back her laughter and gave her a seat after she kissed Alka’s hand in a knightly fashion.

Then, with the sound of big footsteps, Jean came running. He opened his mouth when he found Alka.

“Who is that clown?”

“How vulgar.”

Alka blew a huff in her nose in reproach and Benzel explained.

“This is Alka, the rose fairy who is also a spirit contractor.”

“Was she a real fairy? I thought it was a metaphor?!”

When Jean was honestly surprised, Alka’s expression softened. Her wings were flapping for easy viewing.

She was a really easy-to-understand person, Nina thought.

Nina turned her gaze to Jean.

“Jean, how did you know?”

When asked, Jean pointed his index finger over his head.

“Ah.”

It’s Adrian

Jean, who was on duty as Adrian’s escort, came all the way here, so he must have come all the way down at full speed when Adrian said there was an intruder.

They were two people who could understand each other even if they didn’t say anything.

Alka, who was staring at Jean, widened her eyes.

“I didn’t hear that there was another Spirit Contractor.”

Jean, with a wide grin, proudly stretched his shoulders at those words. Nina asked.

“How did you know? That Jean is a Spirit Contractor.”

“Because I can see it.”

Alka smiled and pointed to her eyes, for a moment Nina wondered if she too had eyes that saw too much, just like Louis. But soon realizing that was not her case, Nina shouted in a clear voice.

“I hadn’t even thought of using it like that.”

“Oh? You got it right at once. As expected, the person who received the blessings of the Great Spirit is different.”

“What? What is it?”

Jean asked as he came closer. Even if he didn’t make it obvious, he was definitely wary of Alka.

“The thing is, we draw the power of the spirits and use it raw. But with that power… well… she transformed into a fairy.”

Should I say that this is almost like being united with the Spirit? I never imagined that I could borrow power in this way.

‘Is it supposed to be a magical transformation, or is the young lady transformed into the spirit?’

Therefore, there is a high possibility that this appearance of Alka is not her original form. This must be what she looks like after transformation.

Nina turned her head to Benzel and said.

“Well, I’m sorry, Benzel, but…”

“I’ll bring the Tea.”

Benzel said that and left.

‘To even do tea errands, I think he must be very discouraged.’

She feels sorry, but Nina can’t call an attendant to this place, so she decided to apologize after this.

Jean pulled out one of the chairs and made Nina sit, taking the place behind her.

As Alka reached for the tea, her cup began to smell of sweet roses.

“Did you hear about me from the Duchess of Brevan?”

“Well, I didn’t hear the details. She just told me that she would send Miss Alka.”

“I see. Well, there’s really nothing to talk about. One thing is certain: the Cult is our enemy.”

Nina nodded her head and Alka grumbled.

“I don’t want to die twice. So you have to work hard. Of course, I also really wanted to meet Dame Nina.”

“Me?”

“Yes.”

Alka smiled brightly. She picked up the cookies that came with tea and began to stack them up one by one.

“The axis of the Cult are called Lawmakers. But they call themselves Guardians of Destruction. At the top is the head, but we’ll talk about this later.”

Since the word Lawmaker itself means the Guardian of the Law, the Guardians of The Cult are ‘the Guardian of Destruction’.

The cookie, which stood up, jumped and moved around before settling down.

It was the first time Nina had ever seen the power of a spirit used in this way, and she was simply overwhelmed with admiration.

“Originally, it was the Four Great Lawmakers. But Baron Verdin was taken away, right? The others didn’t care if he was there or not.”

The chocolate cookie slipped into Alka’s mouth. The remaining cookies were still moving around.

Nina also felt a bit confused.

‘Isn’t this too resumed?’

Suddenly, as soon as the introduction was over, she went straight to the point.

‘It’s comfortable if it’s convenient.’

Nina also had the feeling that somehow Alka couldn’t catch such nuances. Whether or not she knew Nina’s heart, Alka continued to chirp and explain.

“The three remaining are not normal. You will have to work very hard to catch them. But if you don’t catch these people, the story won’t go on.”

Alka said so and put the running cookies into her mouth one by one.

“The first thing we need to do is find these three. Can you find it?”

“Well-.”

Nina closed her eyes and fell into thoughts.

‘I think it’s too risky to ask Jack.’

Now that the people of the capital are doing their best to hunt The Cult, it might be better to look for traces there.

“For now, let’s do our best.”

Alka opened her mouth with a strange look.

“But Dame Nina is the Great Spirit’s -.”

“I brought the Tea.”

Alka frowned at Benzel’s words, and then put her hands to her lips.

“Well, it looks like something that shouldn’t be said.”

Mumbling to herself, Alka looked at him.

“You’re not going back?”

Benzel flinched and looked at Alka who waved her legs back and forth and cheerfully continued.

“Isn’t everyone worried? You suddenly disappeared. Did you not have the courage to accuse your master, or did you lose the courage to be tested?”

When his face turned white, she smiled and got up from her seat.

“I came today just to say hello, so I don’t need tea.”

“Hello…….”

Nina muttered without realizing it. Was that conversation just now a greeting?

‘What are we going to talk about if we ever have a serious conversation?’

While Nina agonized, Alka said with a single smile.

“I hope to see you officially next time. Let’s stay strong in the face of this conspiracy.”
