Rows and rows of shops filled this new shopping mall that had just opened a few months ago.
Grandma Wu dragged Shao Yan to visit each of the shops to have Yan Yan choose what she liked. Risa followed behind closely, making sure that both of the women were always within her sight.
Risa could see that Grandma is very happy. Her face complexion was very bright, and she was smiling from time to time. Yan Yan patiently talked to her all the way; sometimes, she was not awkward to make fun of herself, just to make Grandma laugh more.
The three women spent their afternoon just like that; strolling around, and chatting with each other.
"Yan Yan, come. Try this one," Grandma Wu was holding a beautiful soft pink color dress in her hands. It was a classic Qipao dress design with short cap sleeves and knee length dress. The collar was a mandarin design with silk button in the middle, and on the thigh side, there was a slit that made it more elegant.
The inner layer of the dress was made of silk, and embroidery of colorful flowers in soft pink colors were spread all over the bottom part. The outer layer was a sheer pink brocade that was also embroidered with a combination of white and dark pink flowers.
When someone put the dress on, the embroidery on the brocade complimented the inner layer; making the illusion of an animated paradise of flowers that moved with the person as they walked.
Shao Yan looked at the very feminine dress, and felt skeptical if she could pull it off.
"Grandma," she cocked her head to the side and said hesitantly, "th- this dress is too girly for me, don't you think so?"
Her hand reached forward to take the dress from Grandma. Her fingers unconsciously ran through the fabric; feeling the amazing sensation that met her every touch.
"The material is good, the embroidery is also top class. Yan Yan, just try it on, and let Grandma see," Risa who had been standing quietly at the side, suddenly chimed in.
Shao Yan could not help to fall in love at the beautiful piece and she got slightly curious as well; so she nodded gingerly, "Alright, I guess there is no harm in trying it on," and after she finished saying that, she walked to the fitting room area along with the dress.

When Shao Yan stepped out of the fitting room, Risa slowly stood up from her seat, and Grandma was smiling from ear to ear.
"Yan Yan, this.." Risa was trying to form some words, but they were stuck at the tip of her tongue, "this dress looks amazing on you!"
Shao Yan, now wrapped in the soft pink dress, slowly walked over. She turned around to look at the full size mirror on the size; also looking in disbelief.
She thought that the color would be too girly for her. But as she put it on now, she had never felt that this was actually her color.
The combination of white flowers and dark pink colors that were spread all over the dress, created an illusion of an elegant fairy. With her soft, milky skin tone, Yan Yan actually looked heavenly in the dress. So demure and so pretty.
She ran both of her hands slowly on her waist and moved down to her thighs. Shao Yan had never seen a dress as magnificent as this one.
Risa stood behind her, held some of her hair, and then twisted them in a bun, "And then we can style your hair like this, Yan Yan."
Grandma Wu decided as she nodded in satisfaction, "Mm. Good choice indeed. We shall take this one," she turned to the shop assistant who had been standing on the side waiting for them.
"Shao Ying, go and take that dark blue dress we saw earlier," and then Grandma turned to Shao Yan, "this pink dress is more fitted for a formal event, that dark blue is good for a more casual party. Let's try that on, too, Yan Yan."
Risa nodded, and then she started to walk to another aisle to look for the dress that Grandma had chosen before the pink dress.

A short while later, Risa came back. Another shop assistant was following closely behind her; in her hands was a dark blue dress.
The second dress was much simpler. From the front side, Yan Yan could only see a simple dress with short cap sleeves and mandarin collar. She thought that the knee length dress actually looked normal, and might even be fitting to be worn to the office.
Risa sat down next to Grandma on the couch, and the shop assistant presented the dress with both hands to Shao Yan, "Please take a look," she said as she spread the dress in front of her, "the material for this dress is a mix of silk and spandex; making the dress more flexible to be worn on a casual event, and yet still elegant and luxurious as a Qipao."
The shop assistant paused when Shao Yan ran her fingers on the material, and then she said, "Unfortunately for this dress, I have to assist you in putting it on. And later, you will understand why."
Shao Yan looked at the shop assistant, and then she glanced back to Risa and Grandma Wu; only to see them flashed encouraging smiles at her.
Shao Yan turned back around and nodded as she said, "Alright, let's try it on," and then she walked back to the fitting room.

When she came out a moment later and looked at herself in front of the mirror, she felt a different aura than before.
She heard gasps from behind her, so Shao Yan glanced to the back, "What is it, Sis?"
Risa stood up from her seat, and walked closer and stood behind Shao Yan, "Yan Yan," she said, as she held Shao Yan by her shoulders, "look at this," and then she turned her slightly around, so Shao Yan could see her own back.
