"Are you cold?"
It had been almost one hour of a boat ride, and the night was getting darker and cooler around them.
The red lanterns that were hung outside of the shop houses were all lit up; giving a beautiful tiny golden light along the riverside.
Shao Yan shook her head and then continued eating her dumpling soup. She had put on her own green jacket, but Li Xiqing was still worried that she would be cold.
He noticed that in the past hour, there were several boats that would row past them. Their boats would pass each other by slowly, but the water would still splash over a little.
Li Xiqing then decided to take his jacket off. He walked over to her side, and then spread the jacket over her lap, "Cover your legs with this for now, so you don't get too cold."
And after he finished saying that, he walked back to his seat across from her.
Shao Yan looked at his face as he was laying the garment down. She noticed that probably Li Xiqing was worried about the water that was splashed to her calves.
She smiled at him, "Thank you," and started on another topic to talk about.
"So," She put down her chopsticks, and picked up a soup spoon to drink the broth, ""What do you think of the food?"
"Although it was simple," Li Xiqing glanced at her quickly before he looked at his own bowl, "but I think they did well on meeting the traditional aspects,"
The meal that was served on the boat was of Shanghainese traditional cuisine.
"It was simple yet very nutritional and aesthetically beautiful," Shao Yan nodded, agreeing with his comments.
Shao Yan started to tell him about her experience during her trip to some other cities.

During the drive home, the feelings inside their hearts were both light and blissful.
Shao Yan had so much fun today; despite the long walks they had around the water town, but tonight was really a celebration for the love between the two of them, so she was all excited and not tired.
But she thought wrong.
As she was seated in the car and Li Xiqing started to drive; Shao Yan felt so comfortable, she almost fell asleep.
It would take about two hours to drive home, so she tried her best to stay awake to accompany him.
"So," Shao Yan let out a huge yawn, "What did Axel say?"
When they were walking back to the car earlier, Li Xiqing had received a call from Axel. Li XIqing did not say much as a reply other than "Okay", "I see" and "See you later", so Shao Yan was curious.
Li Xiqing tilted his head as he was remembering.
"Oh, we are going to Singapore next month, after Lunar New Year."
He paused to let that sink in her mind, "And by 'we', I mean you and I."
"I will stay there for about four weeks, you can come with me for one or two weeks, depending on your vacation schedule."
Shao Yan had been thinking about this trip the past few days after she found out the possibility of going, so she became more excited.
Li Xiqing let her blabbered about her plans because he knew she wanted to stay awake to accompany him; and he would drop a comment every now and then.

She woke up with a jolt when the engine was cut off.
"Huh?" She looked bewildered at the dark room that was surrounding her.
"We are home," Li Xiqing's soft spoken voice was heard, "I was about to wake you up."
A yawn escaped her lips, "Sorry, I fell asleep," Shao Yan unbuckled her seat belt, "I wanted to accompany you while driving home."
Li Xiqing raised one hand and brushed her head, "It's alright, you are tired, you should get more sleep."
"En," Shao Yan stretched out a little before she opened the door, "I can get more sleep this weekend."
Li Xiqing chuckled at her weekend plan, and also stepped out of the car.
She drowsily walked back to the elevator area with him walking closely behind her.
As they were approaching the elevator, Li Xiqing remembered that both of them had left their jackets at the back passenger seats. But looking at her weak steps, he abandoned the idea to go back to the car to get them; and continued to walk with her to go back home.
With just a few steps, he finally stood next to her. He gently grabbed her hand and guided her to the entrance. She lifted her face and looked at him with a weak smile.
And he thought her sleepy face was really adorable.

"Yan Yan?"
Li Xiqing just finished his shower and dried his hair. He stepped out of the bathroom to see Shao Yan was laying on the bed with her eyes dressed; still wrapped in her fluffy bathrobe.
"Nngh," She stirred drowsily.
He shook his head helplessly, "Did you fall asleep without changing to your pajamas yet?" He chuckled softly.
Li Xiqing walked back to the bathroom, towards her dressing room, to get her pajamas.
After he entered the bedroom again, Li Xiqing walked over to her side of the bed and gently lifted her arm.
Shao Yan laid her head weakly by his shoulder.
Li Xiqing smiled while glancing down at her, and started to untie her bathrobe.
He unwrapped the garment and his eyes reflexively fell on to her beautiful neck.
Shao Yan had just finished her bath, so her body was still warm and smell so fragrant; enticing his hunger.
He could not resist himself to lean closer and kiss the hollow of her neck.

He slid the garment off her shoulders, and freed both of her arms from the bath robe.
Shao Yan fell limp onto his embrace; her breasts were rubbing onto his skin as he moved a little to grab the pajamas that he had put on top of the bedsheet.
He swept his eyes all over her body; feasting on her delicate pinkish skin and he felt his bulge start to grow with desire.
"Yan Yan?" His fingers were running down her skin, teasing her softly.
He waited for a while, and she did not respond to his call.
Li Xiqing leaned his head down and his mouth caught onto the perky nipple in front of him; he started to suck gently.
"Nngh?" Shao Yan drowsily woke up when his tongue started to tease her navel and kept going down.
"Wake up now?"
He could sense she tried to move away from him, but Li Xiqing caught her waist, holding her down.
"I think …. I still have a lot of debt to pay, Yan Yan."
He went lower and then he spread her legs open, before burying his head into the sweetness of her.
