“You don’t want to use it…… ?”

He tilted his head and met his eyes with me.

“…… fine.”

“You decided to fight with me again. right?”

After listening to Tess’ story, I realized that I had fallen into a trap. I glared at him, but he only smiled with delight.

“Don’t come out to see me off. Don’t come out of your room.”

It’s not that hard to pick on Tess. When he forbade me to see him off, which was something he loved so much, he looked like he was about to cry, but he truly didn’t move an inch.

Leaving behind the chief attendant’s greetings, I left Hill Palace and headed for the carriage, but encountered an unexpected ambush.

“Euel!”

An excited male voice. Let’s just slowly turn around.

“Euel!”

Anyone could see the fluttering father walking towards me.

“My dear daughter! Euel!”

Father, the adjutant next to you is looking at you with surprised eyes.

“Euel, is it a dream to see you here?”

Father came up to me and hugged me tightly.

“It’s reality, so let me go. I am suffocating.”

It was really hard to breathe thanks to Father, who is weaker than me but his strength skyrocketed only when he hugged me.

“Oh, Euel. Are you okay? Dad is so happy to see Euel!”

“Yes. I know.”

I took a step back to avoid Father who seemed like he was going to kiss me.

“Euel, would you like to have a meal with Dad?”

“Your Excellency, you are on your way to an audience with Your Majesty.”

The adjutant behind him panicked and informed him of the schedule.

“I know.”

Father, who replied coldly, wrapped his arms around my cheek. He seemed ready to dance if left alone, so I took his hand away.

“Father, go ahead. I can see you later at home.”

“Alright, Euel. I’ll see you later when I go home. You’ll have dinner with Dad. Understand?”

“Yes.”

Fortunately, I thought I could escape from this.

Kiss. Kiss. But sure enough, Father started kissing me on the cheek.

Even though Father shows affection to Gael often, he doesn’t do it as much as he does to me. He seemed to hold it in when with Gael because he noticed that Gael was upset.

They say expressing affection is the joy of life, so I will tolerate this much.

“Your Excellency.”

After a few more calls from the adjutant behind him, Father parted ways with me.

“Euel, see you later!”

I also waved at Father, who turned around and waved several times as he walked. Eventually, Father stumbled with his foot twisted.

“Whooo…….”

How can anyone think that man is the Iron blooded Hardland?

“Euel!”

Seeing Father waving at me without end, I felt sorry for the adjutant who was flustered that the time was coming up.

Tess may have lost, but he fought pretty well. I would never have won if I hadn’t been trained by Ber.

It feels strange to discover that he has changed again.

“Laura, get me some water. I want to wash quickly.”

After washing, Laura dried my hair.

“Miss, you have something like a bruise on the back of your neck. You must have been bitten by an insect.”

“Huh?”

There’s no way half-elven blood gets bitten by bugs?

“Here you go.”

Laura placed mirrors in front of me and behind me, and only then could I see properly. A lump that remains on the nape of my neck.

What flashed through my mind was the man who had sucked my back.

“Ha…….”

If I had known this was going to happen, I would have beaten Tess more.

Aurin held a party to announce that she had become the head of Xuen.

“We met again.”

“Yes.”

Maybe because I recognized him, I see Weathering quite a bit here and there. After meeting him a few times, he wasn’t the kind of person who enjoyed this at all.

“Duke Lantia is also here today, so why did you come to a place like this?”

“Aahh…”

Weathering sighed as he neatly brushed his hair.

“My cousin asked me to join the party. If I don’t show my face in the social world by participating, he’ll cut off my research fund.”

“Aren’t you a wizard? So, isn’t that something you can deal with?”

“You have to be hired by someone to make money, but it’s annoying. You have to be tied up in the house, and then you would have no time to study.”

It was obvious why he was usually asked to come to this place.

“So you’re saying that you came here knowing that your cousin was trying to arrange a marriage?”

“My cousin only told me to come out though. He didn’t ask me to find someone to marry.”

Weathering shrugged his shoulders at the shameless face.

“Who would be interested in a baron’s son, who is not going to inherit a title like me?”

“The story will be different if they know that you are a fairly famous wizard.”

“My cousin doesn’t know because he’s not interested in that.”

It was a common situation among high-ranking nobles.

Most wizards belong to the Magic Tower, and the Magic Tower is managed by the Imperial Family. Because they are useful talents for war or large-scale national development.

Wizards above a certain level were bound to the imperial family unconditionally. Hereafter, the wizards are free to decide whether or not to seek employment, but the types of magic they can use are limited.

To prevent nobles who gained power through wizards from opposing the imperial family.

High-ranking nobles who had everything, donated to scholars and wizards, but were indifferent because they didn’t need them.

Rather, middle-class nobles were more interested in wizards. Because they are often useful in real life.

However, if the wizard becomes the daughter-in-law or son-in-law of a noble family, the story will be different. It was difficult for the imperial family to control what the family members would do other than those they employed.

So, from time to time, high-ranking nobles deliberately tried to associate themselves with famous wizards.

“The Duke doesn’t know how capable his cousin is.”

“What I hid is big too. Most of them know me only as a scholar, they don’t know I’m a wizard.”

I just laughed because I knew that Weathering was a wizard because I was persistently digging into him too.

“Still, there is someone here who recognizes me.”

Weathering winked at me in one eye.

“And lately these parties have been fun. I’m almost looking forward to it.”

“Why?”

“Well.”

Weathering laughed, blurting out his answer.
