Chapter 146: The Senju Grand Fleet

Rows after rows of ships were leaving Dressrosa. Pirates and criminals from all over the world who had participated in the Colosseum matchup were leaving the country. Four big ships, however, stayed docked near the shore.

The four ships flew a unique Jolly Roger of their own, however, minions were busy raising a new Jolly Roger on all the ships. A jolly roger that was raised higher than their own, busy being hung as the wind flapped against its wood-root-skull artwork.

Most members of all these ships were gathered on one ship, the largest ship which flew the Happo Navy flag, and then the flag of Senju Pirates above it.

"Looks like it's done," said Beidou, looking around at the other three ships that finished raising their new Jolly Roger. "The flag looks pretty nice, not gonna lie. No shame in raising that."

The Senju Pirates had been flying a simple-modernized-type flag until now; they've been doing it for two months, after leaving Boin Archipelago. Tsunade, however, didn't like it very much, so she suggested he took a deadlier vibe than the simple ones. It was similar to the flag that the old Senju Pirates flew; there, the head was designed after the Captain, Tobirama Senju. Since Hashirama was the captain now, the flag was designed after him. It was a skull wearing a bandana, and long wooden hair running down the back.

It looked good, and although changing a jolly roger was annoying, it shouldn't be that big of an issue given they probably haven't been seen more than once raising it. They were stuck in Amazon Lily for the last two months, after all.

Hashirama liked the new design. "Yeah, not bad. Anyway, enough about that. Let's get on with the meeting. Beidou, you'll be the first ship's Captain. Let me think of a more unique name than just 'captain', hmm."

Hashirama sat in a chair on the ship's deck, while a large army sat in front of him. In front of them, four people stood, the captains of each of the four ships that decided to join the Senju. Though he hadn't said anything, the minions behind the captains began to share ideas among themselves.

"Admiral?"

"Warlock?"

"God-King?"

"Silence," Hashirama clicked his tongue and shut up the chattering. "Hm, how about Tyrant?"

"Makes us sound evil," said a young man who sat beside Beidou. "Such a label is opposing to my beautiful title."

Hashirama took a look at the young man with a thoughtful expression. Pirate Prince, Captain of the Beautiful Pirates, Cavendish. He was beautiful for a man, as he sat pleasantly on the floor beside the other three captains.

Cavendish was a wild one, Hashirama knew. 'He's probably the top five strongest in the entirety of dressrosa at the moment.' It was Fujitora who should be first, Tsunade and Hashirama both second and then who else? Cavendish should be right behind them, even stronger than Chinjao.

In his current form, he wasn't that strong, though still impressive. His real strength comes out when he gets knocked out and his alter ego, Hakuba takes over. This guy had limitless potential, and to have him as a subordinate was a good thing. However...

"Makes me wonder why you decided to join me," Hashirama asked all of a sudden. "It's true that I saved you by releasing the toy curse, but as I see it, you aren't a Giant of Elbaf, you shouldn't go this far to repay me."

The Giant of Elbaf in question, coughed. Hajrudin, the giant, who took half of the deck's space for himself, sat beside the other three captains as he too had vowed to join Hashirama. His reason was simple, the one Hashirama just spoke of.

Cavendish, however, didn't have such a reason. Hashirama shot him a suspicious look when the young man looked away.

"Are you perhaps... interested in me?" Hashirama finally decided. "Sorry, dude, I ain't into guys. I am not judging, but even if you look feminine, femboys ain't my thing."

"...."

Cavendish felt the gazes of everyone on him; people didn't judge men liking other men in this world, especially not in Grandline, but it would probably come as a surprise to them if they learned that the man who had all girl's hearts stolen was not a bit interested in those girls.

Of course, what they were thinking was entirely untrue. Cavendish's grip tightened around the hilt of his sword; it wasn't a sign of anger, he just got reminded of something. Durandal was a named blade, it had special powers. One such being the ability to use a 'disguise' as long as the sword was near him... near her, more accurately.

It was true, Cavendish was interested in the same gender. But being a girl in reality, she was interested in other girls, not men. That's why she used this disguise, to appear as a man, since most girls weren't interested in other girls, even if they were as hot as Cavendish. This disguise was merely a play first, to pick up girls, but at one point everyone knew her in this appearance, so she was forced to stay like this otherwise people wouldn't recognize her.

With a soft grumble, deciding it was fine to reveal since she was vowing to serve Hashirama, and he didn't trust her, Cavendish drew out her sword just slightly. People around her got alert, ready to interject if she tried to attack their new captain, but all she did was cut her own finger with the blade as smoke burst out of her body.

When the smoke vanished, something bounced on her chest, as she felt her butt grow heavier, and the entire crowd went silent. Hashirama's lips widened but he quickly shut up and nodded.

"Understood. It's not gay if you like me, I get your point." He said, nodding in understanding, while Cavendish's face went red.

"I- I like girls!" she jumped up. "I am only doing this b-because, I don't know, your Conqueror's Haki was weird. It scared Hakuba. So I decided to join you, in the hope of keeping the thing locked in fear of you. Ah wait, you know what Hakuba is, right?"

"Oh," Beidou chimed in. "Let me explain, it's..." she began and explained to Hashirama and everyone else on the ship. People listened to her explanation and wowed, looking at Cavendish with awe, and some other emotions. Lust, mostly. She didn't like that, but she had revealed her secret knowing this would happen.

"I see," Hashirama nodded. "I understand, then. A sleepwalking demon, and somehow I can keep it suppressed. Good enough reason. Seeing that you even revealed your 'secret', I will trust you. And everyone here who saw this today, you better keep shut, otherwise..."

The crowd cheered with a bright expression that they were blind.

"Alright then," Hashirama watched Cavendish return to her male disguise and look at everyone again. "I will agree with our Pirate Princess here, and," he saw Cavendish's face go red in rage and embarrassment, holding back an amused chuckle, and added, "We'll use the name [Warchief] for the ship captains."

"Oh, like Warlords?" asked the last of the four captains, Leo the Tontatta. He had joined under Hashirama, their hero, to go on a great adventure with a Tontatta crew following him. Despite his small size, he was the strongest in the entire ship right after the other three captains. "But aren't Warlords evil too?!"

"Just like Warlords, yes, I am ripping off the World Government," Hashirama replied, "And no, the Warlords aren't all evil. Look at this lovely lady, for example." He took in a deep breath and called. "Hancock, where are you?!"

"Cominggg~" a voice came flying from afar, from the Kuja Ship in the distance, as the figure of Hancock came crashing from the sky and into his lap. "What is it, honey?"

"Um," Hashirama held her and cleared his throat, watching everyone on the ship grow hearts in their eyes. Cavendish's real form was stunning, but Hancock was in a whole other league. "In any case, I just wanted to show that not all warlords are evil. I think you understand after seeing her."

"Yes, yes, of course," Leo replied as he tried to shake the bewitched look away but failed. "I understand. Warchief! Warchief it is!"

"Alright, good," Hashirama nodded. "Then, Beidou is the 1st Warchief. Pirate Princess is the 2nd Warchief. Hajrudin is the 3rd, and Leo is the 4th. Any complaints?"

"Yes! Why am I not first, I have the highest bounty!" Cavendish, who was once again raging and blushing, yelled. "Plus, I can beat her anytime!"

"In six months, we'll meet and hold a duel among the War chiefs," Hashirama said. "The ranking will change. The current one is biased, I'll admit, but that's how things are."

Cavendish went silent, while the crowd went loud. "Warchief! Warchief! Our Leo is a Warchief!" The dwarves yelled. The humans yelled too, and Giants who weren't in this ship because of size issues, yelled from a ship afar.

"Hey, what about me?" Hancock asked as she twirled a finger on her hair and looked into his eyes. "Make me a Warchief, or whatever. I want to join you too..."

"You should, but later. I can't provide Amazon Lily the protection that the Government is giving," He said, "Wait till I become an Emperor."

The crowd went silent at that, everyone looked at him. Hancock did the same. People had dreams of conquering the sea, all of the pirates here once had such dreams, but for once... for the first time, what they heard didn't sound like meaningless blabbering.

Most in this ship were strong, they had witnessed his Haki clash with Tsunade, his attack clash. They knew, unlike what most people thought, Tsunade wasn't stronger than him. They could be said to be roughly equal; given Hashirama's young age, he ought to grow stronger. If he was strong enough to beat the strongest right hand of an Emperor at this age, it wasn't outrageous to say he would be able to beat an Emperor in a few more years.

When that time comes, the Senju Grand Fleet would be the army of the new Emperor of the Sea.

"Okay," Hancock grinned and hugged him. "Don't make me wait for too long." She said as she hesitated and kissed him on the lips.

The crowd went crazy at that, with cheers filling the skies of Dressrosa. People cheered, and everyone celebrated their new flag. Hashirama had a last-minute talk about some details with the Warchiefs, about what they were allowed to do and what they weren't.

They couldn't sail together yet, sadly. So many ships moving together was a waste. Hashirama also didn't have a personal island under him, so he couldn't use it as a base. When he would have one, though, he could make it his base where he and the fleet could come and go. Actually, he could make Dressrosa the base once he earned enough fame.

After discussing that possible future with his Warchiefs, Hashirama finally took his leave. He flew to the Kuja ship as it sailed, while the four warships did the same. They all went their separate ways.

"Hashirama~!" Despite him telling them not to come, two disguised women waved their hands from the dock. "I will miss you! Come back as soon as possible!"

Hashirama waved back, yelling back to come back soon indeed. He would visit some islands around here to distract the marines about his position, and then head back to Amazon Lily, and then bring his own ship back to New World right away. It won't take that long.

...Months later, Hashirama would realize he shouldn't have made empty promises. Because even if he wanted to, he couldn't return.
