Irene stood in the middle of the room with cold hands and feet. "Lady Winter, what's wrong?" His holiness asked as he looked at her pale face.

"...I will wait outside..." Ash said as he left the room without raising even a single question.
"...Your Holiness, Did you use your power to spy on me?.." Irene asked with her calm attitude.

His Holiness looked at her face and then replied, "What if I say, yes I did spy on you. Will you penalize me?"
"Ha...Honestly, even his holiness knows that there is nothing that I can do when it's you....but seriously I never thought that you would spy on me." Irene who felt as if her trust was broken said as she sighed.

"Now when we come to honesty...honestly even I never thought that I would spy on you too but I am bound by my responsibilities." His Holiness said with a small smile on his face.

"What responsibility?"
"Responsibility to safeguard you and the others."
"...Others? Does that mean you have been spying on others too?!"
"...Yes I am..."

*Sigh* "I understand that His Holiness probably didn't mean any harm but still spying on us is like invading our privacy...." Irene said as she sat down on the chair.
"I aware of that fact but it's not possible for me to look at every one of you myself especially when I am tired up with the temple works and at the same time I can't abandon even a single one of you....after all, I promised to the late empress that when she is gone I will look after you all." His Holiness said as he poured Irene a cup of warm jasmine tea.

"A promise to the late Empress...."
"Yes.....d I don't think lady winter is fully unaware of the affection the empress had for each one of you." His Holiness said as he kept an hourglass on the table.

Irene didn't utter a word after that because she no longer knew if she should be angry or thankful to his holiness.
"( Of course I am well aware of the empress thoughts and affection if not for her I would not have been standing here talking with you even when you tried to invade my privacy which is a very sensitive topic for me.)" Irene thought as she took a deep breath.

"Looks like you have thought a lot, now then shall we start our counselling session." His Holiness asked as he looked at Irene who looked a bit confused.
"Your Holiness, is the counselling sessions always done by you?"

"(She is always in guard against me isn't she...)"
"Well, not usually but your case is a bit special...and if I let others counsel you I am afraid the result won't be so good and your hard work for the past years may go in vain too. And I believe you won't want that, Will you?"

Irene looked at him with her eyes filled with questions but keeping everything aside she decided to do what she has come there for.
"Then I will be in your care."

"Sure, Let's start the session now." He said as he turned the hourglass upside down.
"Then for the first question please tell me about your problem. Even though I am already aware of it I would still like to hear it from you just in case I missed something." His Holiness said as he lighted a lavender-scented candle.

"Sure, My problem is a nightmare. It's not like I never had a nightmare before but those nightmares would go away after one or two nights but the nightmares I am having this day are too vivid and they have been continuing fr the last 2-year or so." Irene said as she closed her eyes.

"Hmm, a nightmare I see, lady winter do you remember anything that happened on the day you had this nightmare for the first time."
"When I had this nightmare for the first time...it was probably a month later from the empress funeral...but I don't remember the details."

"No problem if you don't remember then can you describe the nightmare you have been having."

"Yes.....the nightmare always starts suddenly and most of the time I am in the middle of the forest surrounded by tall trees which no lights. And every time I am there I forget the fact that that nightmare is unreal and right when I try to run away a hand pulls me and tries to choke me while repeating my name and the same sentences like 'Irene I missed you' or 'You can't run away.'...." Irene said as she felt a sudden chill all over her body.

"Be at ease." His Holiness said as he touched her shoulders and all the chilliness disappeared without a trace.
"Yes...all this was fine but the dream I had a few days ago was really werid." Irene said as she gulped.

"Please tell me about it." His Holiness asked in a serious tone.
"In that Nightmare I saw a dream inside a dream and this time the location was my own room and that voice came from inside a mirror. That voice tried to pull me in too but luckily I woke up but...."
"But what?"

"But that nightmare gave me this mark." Irene said as she removed her jacket and showed him her shoulders which had the imprints of someone's grip.

"This!" Even his holiness was shocked to see that mark which made Irene more nervous.
"Is it something dangerous?" Irene asked in a shaking voice, her brave eyes were trembling which explained how much tormented she was form all this nightmares.

"....No it isn't....its just that something like this has never occurred in the past few decades....so it sudden appearance made me a little shocked." His Holiness said as he patted her head and purifying all the impure mana around her.

"I see then, your Holiness can you please tell me what all this is?"
"Sure I can but it's already evening and I need to go for prayer. So, how about we talk about this tomorrow." His Holiness asked as he pulled out a box form which door and gave it to Irene.

"Okay I can wait till then and what's in this box?"
Irene asked as she opened it and saw a blue square pendent with a sliver string that shined brighter in the dark.
"This is a protector which will make sure that you don't have such nightmares again. So, wear it everytime." His Holiness said as he rose from his seat followed by Irene.

"Okay, I will do so and thank you for your time." Irene said as she bowed and exited the room.
"No Problem." His Holiness said as he smiled while closing the door and soon after that his smile disappeared and his eyebrows frowned.

"That little lady is in big trouble...no not only her but if what I am thinking is true the whole solar will be in trouble. *sigh* But how come the clan's magic which was dismissed and banished 10 years ago return again! And why would anyone put a curse on her...." His Holiness talked to himself as he sat on the chair depressed.

"Curse? What Curse are you talking about?" A boy with sliver hair that shined like the full moon and red eyes that looked right through one's soul and a height of 164cm (5.4 ft) wearing a black blazer over a red shirt along with black pants and balck shoes. [ ALAN 14 years]

"Crown Prince!! What are you doing here?" His Holiness was almost lost his own soul form his sudden appearance said as he stood from his seat.
"I was just passing by but what curse were you talking about?" Alan asked in his usual manner without a certain emotion in his face. Which his holiness found a little unusual.

"...Before that can his highness please tell me about the exact line you heard, since it's like invading my patients privacy.." His Holiness said as he clenched his fists and stopped his breath.

"I just heard about the curse nothing else...but why are you acting so secretive?" Alan said as he sat on the small bench near the window.

Hearing that he let go his breath and with a smile he said, "Of course I have to be secretive since it's a very sensitive case. But anyway why are you here? That to without any prior notice."

"I was just here to pray and talk about the temple budget....but I got a bit bored so I just thought of paying you a visit."
