Chapter 112: A Sudden Fever.

"(What is it? This nice smell where Is it coming from?)" Irene thought as she slowly opened her eyes and the blue sky upon her.
"So beautiful *Rises* I suddenly feel as if I am I'm heaven." She said as she stretched her arms and legs.

"I didn't know going out with us makes you feel so good that you would even compare it with being in heaven~," Molly who stood behind her asked as she held her arms.
"Molly, what are you doing here?" Confused Irene asked as she touched her face to check if she is real or not.

"Why can't I be here? And stop touching my face like that and let's go others have been waiting for you for since long."
"Waiting for me but why?"
"Don't you remember it's your engagement today!" Molly said as she flicked Irene's head slightly.

"What!! Engagement? Why? And with how and how I am still young!" Irene said as she shook Molly's hands and sat on the ground.

"Pffttt, I was just kidding, But do you seriously not remember we all are here for a picnic and you have been missing....see there are the others. Hey guys I found her!" Molly said as she looked at the group of kids which included Wilson siblings, Kelly, the royal brothers and also Ash.

"Everyone is really here...but I don't remember anything about this meetup"
"It's fine we know you are busy...hmm, let's just enjoy for now since you have been working so hard."

She didn't understand what was happening but she was happy with the fact that everyone was there and she didn't ask for anything more.
"Okay! Let's go!" Irene said as she held Molly's hand and ran towards the other kids.

"Are you small kids? Running around without informing anyone." Rose said as she glared at both Molly and Irene which made them feel kinda small.

"Come on sister just let them off the home this time, see we have been together after so long. We should be happy and do all sorts of fun." Harris said as he held his sister's hand and winked at Irene which clearly meant 'I got your back.

"Thank you," Irene whispered as she bowed towards him and then her eyes met with both the royal princes whom she haven't seen for ages.
"Your Highness, how have you been all this time?" Irene asked as she sat down on the picnic mat comfortably.

"We have been doing fine except for the fact that we missed you a lot! Right, brother?" Alfred asked as he bugged Alan who didn't give any attention.
"Hey, are your Highnesses trying to steal Irene from us by doing all the sweet talk?" Kelly said as she held into Irene as a puppy would to his owner.

"Excuse me if you are forgetting it but before being connected to anyone one of you sue is my elder sister." Ash who couldn't control himself said as he crossed his arms.

And after that everyone started to bicker as to who is more close to Irene. Which made Irene happy and worried at the same time.

"Seriously, you are making it seem as if like if not for me none of you would have been here," Irene said as a joke but listening to it everyone stopped with an expression that was hard to describe or as if she found out a secret that was hidden from everyone's eyes.

Seeing them like that made Irene worried,
"Why are you all suddenly so silent? Don't tell me are my predictions right?" Irene asked as she looked at them and right then she felt a hand on her shoulders.

"Irene..." That familiar voice said and as soon as Irene turned around a bright light blinded her and the next thing she remembers was opening her eyes facing the ceiling.

"Miss Good Morning." Hana who pulled up the curtains said in a low voice as she noticed Ash was still asleep.
"Morning..." Irene said in a daze as she rubbed her eyes and then sighed.

"What's wrong? Did you have a bad dream again?" Hana who noticed her colourless face asked as she touched her forehead.

"I didn't have a nightmare instead it was a good dream but the ending made me worry a bit....I just don't know." Irene said as she covered herself with the blanket.

"It's not because of dreams and all, my lady you are having a fever," Hana said as she made her lie on bed again, on the other hand, Ash by all the rustling woke up and started murmuring in sleep.

"Why so noisy?" Ash asked as he slowly opened his eyes and directly faced Irene.
"Huh? What's wrong with your face?" He asked as he wiped his eyes and then touched her face.

"It's hot, sister are you having a fever?" Ash asked as he rose from the bed and sat near her.

"Yeah I am...you should stay away from me what if you get infected too," Irene said
as she scooted away from Ash.

"Hah, but how can you get a fever overnight? You were just fine yesterday." Ash said as he got down from Irene's bed.
"Who knows?" Irene said as she shrugged her shoulders.

"It must be because of overwork and stress," Hana said as she put a wet cloth over Irene's head.
"...Hmm, sister you should just rest today!" Ash said as he looked at Irene who knew she didn't have any say in it since both Hana and Ash are protective when it comes to her but still she tried.

"But what about the anniversary, there is still a lot of work left for that day...*(furthermore I even need to visit the temple and talk with his highness today.)* I really can't rest today," Irene said as she removed the blanket but Ash didn't let her to wake up or even move an inch.

"JUST REST!" Ash said and without any hesitation, Irene closed her eyes and waited for him to leave the room.

After he left she slowly opened her eyes and found Hana with a smiling face looking at Irene.
"What's wrong? Do I seem like an idiot?" Irene asked as she pouted.

"Then why are you smiling?"
"Because I like the way you two bicker it's so cute."
"Really, you have a werid taste, Hana," Irene said as she closed her eyes since they were stinging a bit.

"But Hana do I really need to have so many blankets it's so hot...I am sweating." Irene said as she looked at the pile of blankets above her.
"Yes it is important or else you won't get well soon," Hana said as she fed Irene the poddrige made by the head chef.

"Enough I can't eat more...." Irene said as she pushed Hana's hand away and then lay on her bed again.
"Okay but please keep drinking water in between every hour, it's very essential to stay hydrated while having a fever," Hana said as she stood up from her seat and left the room along with the other maids.

A few minutes after the maids left, Irene removed the blankets and stretched her body.
"Hah, I am bored lying in bed the whole day.....being unproductive after so long feels a bit werid." Irene talked to herself as she sat near the window looking at the sky.

"If I was in the modern era right now then I would have been probably chilling while watching some drama or idol show. But here if not the household work I have nothing to do...." Irene talked with herself as she came back to her bed and lay down for a few minutes humming a few modern days songs and even before she could realise it she was already asleep.

"I was wondering how you got a fever out of nowhere and by looking at you right now I just got the answer." Ash who can't to her room to check her said while looking at Irene who was sleeping without any blanket or pillow and in an uncomfortable position.

"Seriously, *sigh* Time changed, the situation changed but your sleeping habits never changed....they are still the same as always," Ash said as he put a pillow under her head and covered her with a blanket.

After doing so he checked her temperature, "The fever went down a little but it's still uncomfortable, isn't it?" Ash whispered in a low voice as Irene was tossing around the bed.

"Young Master?" Hana who just entered the room said as she was a bit surprised to see him there.

"Hana, us that sister's medicine?"
"Yes it is but I can't feed it to her while she is asleep let me come back later," Hana said as she was about to turn around and leave.

"Yeah sure and thank you for taking care of her so well," Ash said as he smiled while looking at the peaceful sleeping face of Irene unaware of what was happening around.
"No need to thank me, after all, it's my duty," Hana said with a smile as she left the room.
