Chapter 146: Sam...Ashton's New Friend?

With the sun hiding behind the clouds, Ashton stood under a tree with his sword tugged with a belt near his waistline, his hands crossed at his cheat with his brown hair covering his eyes.
"Ashton! Ashton!" A voice as loud as a whale shouted with footsteps running towards him.

"Seriously, it's not even 7 am yet and you are here again shouting on top of your lungs and who gave you the right to call me by my first name? I don't think we are that close yet, Lord Maxim." Ashton said as he turned around to look at the boy with lush pink hair and mint blue eyes with a height familiar to his and a round face with baby fat.

"Is that something one must be given the right to? We have known each other for so long! So, won't it be wrong to call each other by our titles?" He said as he came near Ash and held onto his shirt.
"Long? We just meet a few weeks ago that too for just an hour or so~" Ash trying to get rid of that clingy boy said as he walked in the other direction.

"Come on if one wants to be close even one talk is enough and we meet for an hour and even speared together! Think how much must that mean!" He said as he followed him without a single complaint making Ash to sigh and stop in his tracks.

"Just what do you need from me?" Ash asked with the last bit of clam he had left.
"I already told you, I want to be your friend. I want to learn and grow up with you together." The 8-year-old boy with aspiring eyes said as he looked at Ashton who had a cold expression on his face.

"And why is that? I don't teach and I am not going to stay in the capital for long." Ashton said as he looked at the clingy boy who didn't flinch a bit no matter what he hears.
"You don't need to teach me and it's fine if you are gonna leave cuz, no matter where you are I will follow you." He said with a bright smile ok his baby face which reminded Ash of himself when he was nothing more than a mindless 5-year-old baby.

"And why would you do so?.... Sorry to say this but I am straight." Ashton said as he tilted his head making the boy for the first time to flinch and turn red.
"Don't think it that way! I just think of you as my role model! Nothing more....nothing less." He said while stammering with his red face becoming redder and redder.

"Role Model? Me? That's even harder to believe..." He said with a doubtful look on his face.
That boy didn't say another word instead he stood up and walked towards him and forwarded his hand in a friendly way,
"Hello, I am Sam Maxim the only child of Lord Maxim and I take you, Ashton Maven Winter as my Role Model and I promise to walk alongside you acting as your aide," Sam said as he bowed towards him as if like he was giving him some sword of the pledge.

Ashton who has never received such a thing from anyone was confused as to think of that boy as his friend or foe but with the rain that was about to pour and that little boy's poor back that was about it turn sour.
He compromised with everything and appreciated whatever he said to him and took him inside the winter mansion.

"Please sit down comfortably and if you want anything just ask the maids, I will be changing my clothes." Ash who bought him to the drawing-room said while making sure je feels at home.
"Okay., Sam said like a good puppy and sat there politely waiting for his Master.

Meanwhile, with his arrival, everyone in the mansion was astonished as it was the first town that there (siscon) Young Master bought a friend home and that too somehow who looks harmless and careful.

" Would you like to have some cake?" Hana who was the only one who dared to come forward to serve him since everyone else was still doubtful if they should trust him or not. And none of them wanted to get on his nerves.
"Umm, can I?" Sam who was as innocent as he looks asked with his big eyes that looked at Hana like a human would look at Angel.

"Sure you can just ask for it and we will provide it to you," Hana said sweetly as she served him with the red velvet cake with blueberry icing which was also Ash's favourite.
"Thank you, they are very delicious." He said with his forever bright smile that bloomed up all the flowers that gloomed down by the absence of Irene.

"That's great. I will tell the head chief that a cute young Master complimented about his deserts I am sure he would be super happy." Hana said as she tried to talk with Alex whose eyes were stocked at the door waiting for Ashton.

"....When will he come back?..." He mumbled under his breath while looking at his reflection in the teacup when suddenly he felt a certain familiar scent around him and when he looked upward direction there stood Ash with his proper clothes and hairstyle.

"Sorry I took a lot of time. Did you feel bored?" Ashton who was truly sorry for his late arrival asked as he looked at his us with were energy less just a moment ago but now they were back to normal.

"It's fine and I wasn't that bored since I had her company and she even bought me such nice cakes! They are very delicious and melt right after they better my mouth." He started talking without a break making Ashton regret the time he felt sad for him and wished him just like je didn't care.

"Well well, stop that enough I understand! You enjoyed your time eating these eil waiting for me. I understand and *turns to face Hana* thank you for your hardwork, now you go and rest I will take it form here." He said to Hana who smiled, bowed and then left them alone to play together whatever they want to.

"Ashton what should we play now? Or would you like to eat first?" Sam asked Ash who sat beside him with his hair still a little wet.
"I think we shouldneat first after that we can think about the rest." Ashton who was himself happy with his decision said with a smile on his face as Alex nodded his head and bit them started to watch whatever was inform of him.

They started from something salty like the French fries the chef newly learned to made.
"This tastes good father would like it with his special drink." Sam said as he took a bite of it.
"Special drink? What special drink?" Ash asked as he dipped them in the tomato sauce.

"Hmm, that one which makes people happy and they start dancing and singing. It's sometime red or urine like colour." Sam said as he looked at Ash who has never heard such a clear and pure description of wine.

"I--I see...." He said trying to control his laugh which wasn't left unnoticed by Sam so he removed the hands that covered his mouth.
"Laugh out loud! It's not soemthing you need to be shy about." He said while gving him a ear to ear smile.

Looking at him and listening to his words Ash no longer could contain himself and in the end he ended up laughing so hard that it was audible till the outside of the mansion and especially clear to the ones working inside.
"Haaahaha, who---who in the world taught you such words?" Ash asked as he wiped off the tears that came out form all the laughing.

"My Father did, he is the only teacher I ever had so everything I say and do is what I learnt and got form him." Sam answered in his usual sweet manner that could melt anyone's heart.
"Really than what did you learn form your mother?" Ash asked as he wiped off the cream he had on the side of his lips.

"....From Mother....I learnt nothing..." Sam answered after thinking for a while.
"Hmm, nothing? Why? Did you learnt everything form your father that there was nothing left ot be learnt from your mother?" Ash asked as he tired to joke around with him a bit but it didn't go the way he thought it would.

"No its not that, It's not that there was nothing left to be learnt form mother but....its just that mother wasn't there for me to learn form her....she became a star when I was very young." Sam answered without a single sadness or longing but with a calm and gentle voice that touched even Ash heart who felt such way for his sister and parents.

"I bet your mother must be proud of you and your father must be really cool.." Ash said while patting his hair which were so much like cotton candy with the smell of Strawbery.
