"Lady Carot....Sure, Lady Winter." She said while clenching her fists and leaving the room while slowing the door behind with a loud thud.

With that loud thud not only the room shook up but also her heart which was still till the last moment finally broke down and tears which she kept holding back ran down bitterly and reached her chin.

"Power...Power....was our friendship only worth that much! Was the hunger for power the only thing that bind us together?" Irene said as she cried bitterly inside that huge concrete room where her voiced echoed back to her.

And Violet who walked outside with a annoyed mood was able to hear her bitter cry, felt a thud in her heart and a sudden rush of guilt ran over her body and pinched her heart for like a thousand times.

I am sorry....but I can't help it because for me nothing is higher then my goal...not Rose...not you...and nor my friendship....I can give it all up...evbe if it means I have to become a monster.)" Violet thought as a year rolled down her left eye as she stood straight while her back touched the door.

"Harris, Kelly you should head down and joint eh dance."

"Who siad she is alone? I am here to accompany her." Alfred said as he walked towards them wearing a sky blue buttoned coat with and white pants along with white shoes his hair was left down.

"But, shouldn't the prince be with the crown prince?" Kelly said as she looked at him.

"Lady Smith, brother had many people to loom after him and father is there with him so I am very much free to look after her. But that's not the same thing with you two. Molly is busy working and Rose is injured so you guys are the only representative of your families."
"So, stop wasting your time here and go down." Rose completed his sentence while looking at them with a *now leave* look on her face.

"Well If that's how it is then we shall take our leave."
"Prince please take care of her. Sister I will be back soon!" Both of them said while running downstairs leaving both of them alone with awkward silence.

Meanwhile Irene was ready to leave, and the Crown Prince who was informed about the situation came to escort her to the hall himself.
"Lady Winter, Lets go." He said in his deep voice as his black hair was side parted reveling his forhead and clear bright red eyes.
His black silk shirt with golden ornament and brings items attached to it along with it he wore a brownish coat and black shoes with and a losse neck bow which gave him a mature look.

"I will be in your care, your highness." She said while bowing towards him and placing her hands on his.
With that both of them walked down the stairs.
Claps and murmers covered the hall so much that even the music was hard to be heard.

"Because you have bene holding my hand too tightly." He said and Irene as a reflex let go of his hand suddenly which made her her losse her balance but luckily Alan was there to hold her which saved her from a big embrassment.

"Thank you and I am sorry." She said while standing back on her feets.
"Ha, can you something else then thank you and sorry?"

Alan was about to something to her but because of the announcement that the emperor was making about the situation , and how Irene was chosen as his partner and of course thanking everyone for attending the ball. They couldn't talk and the ball started without any delay with the first dance by the Crown Prince and Irene.

"The crown Prince first dance!!"
"He is looking so handsome I might die!!"
"But will Lady winter be able to do well? I Mena she is good in many things but dancing....I doubt it."
