Chapter 219: Ashton Welcome Back

After sometime when everyone calmed down, they took a seat in the shop and started charity with a glass of drink they like.
"We didn't have much time to prepare, but still we tried our best so please enjoy and forgive us for any inconvenience." The Assistant said as he kept down the snacks and food he gathered from the downmarket.

"Don't worry, by staying at the royal academy for 5 years. This snacks are like heaven to us." Harris said as he took a cream bun and ate it deliciously.
"Why? Was the food there so bad?" Irene asked curiously as she took a packet of cream bun herself.

"Well, calling it bland would be better. You know it was either Salty or bland, nothing less nothing more." Alfred said as he took a sip of the strawberry shake.
"Hmm, now that we are out, we don't really need to care about the food there but still...I guess..I should talked with father about this issue or else we would be a bunch bad seniors." Alan said as he sighed while thinking of the problem they had to go through because of the new environment, homesickness and on top of that tasteless food just made is more worse.

"I see then, you all should have more." Irene said as she pushed the snacks towards them.
They all looked at the snacks and then at Irene.
"Whats wrong?"

"You aren't angry with us?"
"Harris, why would I be angry with you all?"
"Because our prank you needed up getting unconscious..." Ashton said as he looked at Irene with guilty eyes.

"Umm, not exactly..we thought of coming out as soon as you enter the room but you were so panicked and sacred that...we didn't understand what to do. And by the time we had our courage to come out you were already on the ground." Alfred said as he kept down his justice and looked at Irene expression which looked at bit mad now.

"Sister, we only wanted to surprise you...we had no other intentions but...still please forgive us!" Sam said as he held her hand in his while looking at her with a smile.
"Just be thankful that you are returning home after 5 years or today I must have really not let anyone of you walk out in two legs." Irene said as she took a Apple and broke it into half.

"Haha, looks like you worked hard while qe were gone." Harris said as he looked at the apple in her hands.
"Of course, I took classes form the only female knight so there is no way I would be bad at it, so next time you think of using your treats on me remember this apple." Irene said as she handed the apple to Ash as she walked towards the door,
And all the other boys followed her like a pack of ducklings would follow their mother.

"And where do you think you all are going?" Irene asked as she stopped in her tracks and turned around to face them.
"Huh?"
"Why are you following me, instead of going back home?"
"Oh that..." Three of said while looking at each other and then at Ashton.

"You all really are hasty aren't you? I can understand about Harris and Ashton but your Highnesses? How could you be so careless?" Irene said as she scolded them.
"I know right!" A voice from behind said as a group of knights in their blue uniform surrounded them.

"Your Highness, thanks to your cool plan, I am working even in my dayoff." Molly who was now a junior knight wearing her red uniform said as she looked at them with a kind of angry look on her face.

"Lady...I mean Madam Smith we are very much apologetic towards the pain you had to go through. Once we reach the palce we shall make sure that you get a good reward for your hardwork." Alfred said as he smiled while looking at her with his head a little upward rising.

"But, Lady Smith aren't we around the same age? Then how come you are so tall?" Harris said as he looked at her form down to the top.
"Not exactly, I am 2 or 4 years older then you all but I wasn't that tall in my childhood so you guys must have thought me as the same age as yours." Molly who was now a adult and soon to be 20 said as she smiled towards the other kids.

"Okay Okay, enough with the talk now how about returning back. Since Molly is here the other families must have been informed too and they must be waiting for you all eagerly." Irene said as she looked at Molly who nodded her head and told the boys to go to ot their allined carriage.

"Sure then, we will see you later." Saying that both of them along with Harris went inside the carriages.
"Ha, this boys...Irene, you should return too. Lord Winter just headed to home after meeting the emperor. I guess he is excited to meet him too." Molly who was more like an elder sister to her then a friend said as she patted her head.

"Sister Molly, you should go too. The emperor must be waiting too." Ashton said as he looked at her and for a second Molly couldn't take her eyes off him.
"Yeah sure sure, and Irene you should take care of Ashton...you know your family genes have started their work." She said with a smirk as she went inside the carriage and Ash stood there a bit bewildered as he was nervous of his secret to come out.

She turned to look at Ash who had the perfect height for his age and perfect build he wasn't muscular but he wasn't that thin too just the right amount as for his face, he looked like a copy of Raymond but a bit more cute and intimidating.

"Harris will you be returning to your home first or would you?" Alfred asked as he looked at Harris who was staring at the outside the window.

The rest of the ride was silent until they reached the palace where another series of drama.was waiting for them.

"Young Lady, and Young Master we have arrived" The coach man said as he went down his seat and opened the door for them to come down.
"Ashton, you go out first."
"Okay." Ashton said and as soon as he took a step outside flowers stated showering in him and a red carpet was beanth his legs with all the maids and workers waiting outside in a line welcomed him with a bow which was in sync.

"They have been trained well, Don't you think?" Irene who in charge of them said as she looked at Ash.

And as he stepped inside the mansion, he felt alive again as his homesick was now fianlly gone.
"Welcome back kid." Leal who was there just to welcome him said as he patted his back while Ashton hugged him.

"Uncle Leal, you are so impartial, no matter how many letters I send you never reply but you are here as soon as Ashton came. Ha, I feel so sad."
"Now, Don't be a drama queen, I see you on a daily basis but it's different for Ash, he is rarely at home and this time he was gone for 5 years so of course he deserves special treatment." Leal said as he shrugged while Irene pouted.
