Chapter 24: Mom We Miss You

"Good Morning my lady!" The servants in the dining room said. "Yes Yes Good Morning," I said as I smiled.
"OH my God! What happened to your face why does it look so haggard!!" A maid said as she came closer to me.
"Ha...Haggard my face???" I asked confused, I just came from my room and my face looked as usual even though I didn't sleep well last night it shouldn't be that bad.
"Yes, my lady and...." The maid was stopped in between, As Ash entered the room.
"Why is so noisy in here??" Ash said as he entered the hall.
"Good Morning Young Master AHHH!!!" She screamed again.
"What's wrong??" Ash asked confused by all the commotion.
"Young Master that's what I must ask what's wrong with your face, your face looks even more haggard than My lady!!!" She said. Haggard but Ash looks, as usual, there is no sign of tiredness on his face.
"What are you talking about I just came from my room I look as usual," Ash said as he looked at the maid.
"Yeah, Ash is right. Even I think I look as usual." I said as I sat on my chair.
"Furthermore no one come this close to us, just to check if our faces look haggard or not," Ash said as he pushed the maid's face with his index finger. As he went towards his seat.
"OH, sorry Young lady and Young Master, It must have made you uncomfortable but it's true that your faces look very haggard and it would be better if you don't leave the villa today." The maid said.
Ash and I stopped and looked at each other seriously there is nothing wrong with us or our faces then why is she so persistent!!!!
"If we hear you saying that one more time..." I said as I looked at her.
"We bet you won't be able to stand there anymore!" Ash said as he looked towards her.
The maid turned to blue as she stood there in silence.
And right then the butler entered,
"Butler Mill, Good Morning!" Both Ash and I said as we smiled towards them.
"Good Morning Young lady and Young Master." He said as he bowed towards us.
"Butler Mill where is Dad?" Ash asked.
"Yeah, it's almost time for breakfast," I said.
"About that Master Winter had some business to attend so he left early. He told me to tell you about that." Butler said as he looked at us nervously.
I smiled because I know what he was thinking, he must have thought we will become gloomy since both mom and Dad aren't here. But.... I looked at Ash who didn't seem to mind too...We are a little different from most of the kids.
"OH, that was it!" I said as I smiled. "Yes, my lady," Butler said as he wiped off his sweat.
"Hmm, if he left so early he might come back early too, so no worries," Ash said as he shrugged.
The butler face lit up, "As excepted of our young lady and Young Master." The butler said as he smiled and bowed towards us.
Both of us laughed, but out of nowhere I felt a dark stare behind me, I looked backwards and saw that maid giving me a death look. Is she trying to scare me? So I just smirked at her and she looked shocked by it.
This maid something is wrong about her, I must find about her in detail. But how?
"My Lady, what are you thinking about?" The butler asked. Butler, he must have their info.
"I have some work for you butler mill," I said.
"Please tell me freely my lady." The butler said. "Not here let's move towards father's office," I said.

"YOU.LOOK.AFTER.ME." Ash said as he threw his fork right before her face, Luckily it didn't touch her face.

"Sister I have practised it thousands of times don't worry it's safe...." Ash said as he smiled towards me.

"I understand young master!" She said and stood beside him.
This maid is acting really weird. Is she new here??
"Mill, let's go," I said as I went towards my father office.

It has only been a day since mother left yet it feels as if a year has passed I wonder how will we survive for a month.

"That Missy and her little brother will soon Pay the price for insulting me!!" The maid Lucy said as she laughed like a psycho.
