The dark cold night arrived at the outskirts of the solar capital and with a clerk, the door of a dark pitched room opened inside which a boy with his head covered was lying on the floor unconscious.

"How is he?" A man with a scar on his right hand asked as he tapped on the boy's legs.
"Unconscious ever since we bought him here~," The other man said as he removed his cloth from the boys face.

"Just by looking at his face, one can say how valuable he is." The man with the scar said as he touched the boy's face slightly.
.
"Don't mess with him and tell me when is he coming?" The other man asked as he covered the boy's face again.
.
"According to the news, he must be here soon." The man with the scar said and within a second someone knocked at the door thrice.
.
"Speak of the devil~," The other man said as he opened the door and a woman in her 30s appeared with mid-blue hair and dark green eyes appeared with a beautiful mole on her lower chin.
.
"Looks like he doesn't have the guts to come himself so instead he sent his puppet here." The man with the scar said with a smirk as the women glanced with him and entered the room.

"Where is he?" That woman asked in a cold voice that didn't match her face which looked so delicate that it could melt any moment.

"He is right there." The other man said as he pointed towards the boy lying on the floor.
She glanced at the boy and then at the two men in front of her.
.
"Do you know his value?" She asked as she held the boy in her arms gently.
"Of course we do, if not what kind of a fool old take the risk to kidnap him from the solar palace!" The man with the scar said as he hissed at the woman.

"Hah, right you two are indeed a fool if not you would have kidnapped him before he entered the palace to avoid suspicious eyes and you wouldn't dare to make him lie on the cold floor like that." That woman snapped back at them as her eyes grew with anger.

"WHAT? ARE YOU TELLING THAT KIDNAPPING HIM WAS NOT ENOUGH? WE EVEN NEED TO BABYSIT HIM?" The man with the scar shouted as he threw a punch at the wall behind the woman.

"Hey, you are overdoing it!" The other man said as he held it into his hand.
"Looks like you guys have a lot of energy in you but don't worry it won't be for long because thanks to your foolishness the emperor has closed all the roads and they are soon arriving at this place." That woman said while turning around to leave but the man with the scar held onto her hand and pulled her inside.

"What do you mean by they are arriving here?" He asked with trembling eyes.
"It simply means YOU ARE A DEAD MEAT." She said as she shook his hand.

Meanwhile outside,
"Can you guys hear the noises?" A knight asked as he took a few steps towards that broken clock tower.

"Stop!" The emperor said as he appeared from behind. "...Black magicians usually plot lots of traps in places like this so you all need to be careful." He continued as he used his divine power to crack all the traps they have plotted in the surroundings.

"Thank you, Your Majesty. Now then should we charge towards them right away?" The knight asked as he looked over the emperor.

"Don't charge at them yet. There are many specks of dark magic flooding in the air. And the energy is higher in that area." The empress said as she looked at the tall tower.

"Then what should we?" The emperor asked as he looked over the empress.
"Rather than taking them head-on, we should think of saving the child first." The empress said as she looked over the knights.

"We understand. Follow me!" The commander in knights said as he ran towards the other side of the clock tower along with some of the other knights.

The knights tried to climb the clock tower and they almost reached the top floor but suddenly the window and bricks busted making everyone lose their balance and fall on the ground, luckily no one got hurt because of the protection spell that the empress put on them.

"What the---" The commander said as he looked at her sky which had turned purple and a woman was flying in the air with her hair wide open.

"Fools!" That woman said as she glanced at the people below her.

'Annoying!' She thought as she tried to leave quietly but suddenly she felt a hard punch on her stomach which made her let go of the boy.

"Oh sh*t!!" She said as she tried to catch him but it was too late as the boy was already in the empress hands.

"Seriously! Everything about today is so annoying...I have no grudges with you all so give me that boy and I will leave quietly." She said as she forwarded her hands.

"How dare you speak like that infront of the empress---" That knight who opened his mouth vanished within a blink of an eye asking everyone on the ground to grasp.

"I didn't want to show my harsh side but you see I hate it when people delay my work so be good sanitness~," That woman said with a smirk on her face.

"What's happening here?" Molly along with the other kids who were hiding behind the bushes looking at all the chaos happening there said as she shivered.

"That woman is so strong," Kelly said as she tighter her grip on Irene's hand.
"True but the emperor and the empress are no less than her," Harris said as he looked at kelly giving her an assured look.

"Is that boy on the empress arms lady winter's brother?" Rose asked as she pointed at the unconscious boy with hidden face.

"Yeah, it must be Ashton. But why is he unconscious?" Molly asked in a panicked tone.

"Maybe because of the shock?" Alfred said as he looked over the place.
"This bad!" Alfred said as he touched the soil.

"What's wrong?" Rose asked as she looked at his troubled face.
"The dark power here is too high, a normal person won't feel it but for the person with divine power this is more like a power struggle to survive and if your body is not fully prepared for it. You might even collapse or have others severe problems..." Alfred explained as he looked stewards the empress.

"Does that mean...the empress..." Kelly said Das he looked at the empress whose face looked pale.

"Yes this situation is very deadly for mother and her condition....already seems to worsen," Alfred said as he gulped.

On the other hand, the empress was sweating by all the pressure she was feeling.
"Please hold him for me." She said to the emperor who did as she said.

"And this lady here sorry to say this but today you must return empty-handed. Because there is as there is no way, we are going to hand him to you." She said with a polite smile which made the woman angry.

" Dear saintness you shouldn't play with fire." She said as he used her power to chain her. "Especially when you are all weak like this." She said as she tightened the grip of the chains.

"Empress!" His Majesty said as he took a few steps towards her.
"Don't come near it's dangerous!!" The empress said as she looked towards him.

"Your Majesty there is a lot you need to see." The empress said as she turned around to face the woman in front of her.

"And you, I might be weak but still I am strong enough to protect my people so step back!" The empress said as she broke away the chains.

"Ah!" The woman said as a piece of caring hurt her forehead.
"Indeed you are truly strong...but how long?" That woman said as she started to chant some spells and what happened next was something unimaginable.

That shocked the kids hiding behind the bushes, the knights watching their fight and also the emperor and empress standing at the font.

"This what is this!!" Harris said as his face grew blue. All of them started to shiver.
"Alfred take them and hide somewhere safe," Alan said as he turned around to face them.

"Brother what are you talking about? And what about Ashton?" Alfred asked as he held onto his blazer.

"Us being here will be more threatening to mother, so listen to me and hide somewhere as for Ashton I promise to bring him back. So, please be safe and take care of them for me.." He said as he ruffled Alfred's hair.
