—3rd Person POV—
Watching mile-wide arcs of lightning vaporize mountains and reduce fields into molten slag, Rizevim wished he had not woken up this morning. There was no reasoning with the entity in front of him anymore, Cole came here with one purpose…and that was to make an example of him. Coming to the realization that he was about to die, his survival instinct kicked into overdrive.
“Curse you!!”, Rizevim shouted lifting his hand to cast a spell, “I surrender, please have mercy!!”
“Do you take me for a fool?”, Cole remarked, “Ark!”
Using the Angelic Powers Cole had copied from the Archangels, a sphere made of light quickly enveloped Rizevim. Almost immediately the Super Devil felt unbearable pain come over him as the sphere began rapidly siphoning his power away from him. Screaming out in pain as he felt his life force begin to go with it, the other two bystanders watched on in horror unable to lift a finger. Taking his sweet time to torture Rizevim, Cole drew it out the process as long as he could before canceling Ark.
Dropping to the ground in a heap, Rizevim could not feel his arms or legs anymore…he didn’t have the energy to. Looking at his fellow Devils, Sirzechs, Ajuka, and Tsufaame for aid, the three of them violently shook their heads no. The three understood what challenging Cole meant for the continuation of their families so none of them wanted to help him. In their minds, Rizevim brought this on himself when he refused to listen to them. Sirzechs and Ajuka had tried to save him before he harmed anyone, but his arrogance led him to this point.
“Is that really all you had?”, Cole said manifesting several large projections of himself, “I expected better from the biological son of Lucifer, but I guess my expectations were too high. You are no Super Devil, you are a child playing in a Man’s World.”
Launching the projections forward, they slammed into Rizevim and violently exploded sending him skipping across the ground. Dashing toward him at high speed, every step Cole took created a massive surge of energy that tore the ground apart.
“HOW DARE YOU THREATEN MY DAUGHTER!!”, Cole roared pulling the Amp off his back, “NO ONE WILL EVER TAKE MY FAMILY FROM ME AGAIN!!”
Notching Rizevim’s neck between the two arms of the Amp, Cole backflipped over him and pulled him along for the ride. Bring him down with a devastating amount of force, the ground blew apart as Cole tore the island in half with a single blow. Watching the now mangled body of Rizevim bent and twisted in every direction, Ajuka knew it was time to flee. Quickly casting a Teleportation Spell, since Cole didn’t seem to care about them, the three disappeared from the area returning to Hell to warn the others of what was coming.
—Underworld—
Arriving back at Leviathan’s home, beaten and tattered, Zekram took one look at them and understood what was going on. Having sensed the atmosphere all over the Underworld become charged with energy, he thought that his grandson and Ajuka were too late…not he had the confirmation he needed. Without saying a word to either of them, Lord Bael turned to the Devils behind him and began giving out orders.
“Everyone immediately return to your homes, and grab your loved ones!”, Zekram ordered, “Rizevim has invoked the wrath of the Otherworlder Cole, we must retreat and regroup to have any-”
Before he could finish speaking, the entire Underworld began shaking violently as Cole beat the life out of Rizevim. Not needing to hear the rest of what Zekram was going to say, everyone immediately teleported away to their families.
—Youkai Village—
“DO YOU FEEL POWERFUL NOW?!”, Cole mocked him as he swung Rizevim repeatedly into the ground, “DOES TORTURING CHILDREN GET YOU OFF!?”
Due to being right on a major juncture with several other realms, Cole’s abuse of Rizevim was shaking the reality of this universe. Taking his initial rage out on him for nearly fifteen minutes, by the time he stopped all that was left in the Amp was a bit of bone jammed into the metal. Rewinding time on the fragment, Cole pulled Rizevim back together to just after the first swing. Screaming out in agony as he still recalled all the abuse Cole had given him, he continued to plead for mercy swearing to never again come to the Human World.
“The only mercy you will get from me is death, boy.”, Cole stated burying the Amp into the ground so it pinned his neck to the dirt, “Once I am satisfied that you suffered enough, I will track down every single support you have and massacre all of them…your father included. You had one fucking simple rule to follow, but you thought I was bluffing about what I’d do. Your stupidity will cost the Underworld dearly, when they look back in your history books they will remember this day as Hallowed Wednesday because of the number of bodies I will bury you with.”
Looking at Cole to see if he was joking, Rizevim honestly thought no one but a Devil would do such a thing. Staring into Cole’s eyes, he saw a being more than willing to exterminate all of Devil kind. Before Rizevim could open his mouth, Cole used the same curse that once afflicted Meliodas to ensure Rizevim would live through what he was about to do. Leaping backward, using an Ice Spike to get further away, Cole called out to the Youkai hiding in the Storage Building.
“All of you close your eyes, open your mouths, and cover your ears…this isn’t going to be gentle.”, Cole commanded as electricity began surging from his arms, “This will be the first time I have used a large portion of the power I gathered since I started hunting the bastards responsible for harming my family. You can die here knowing that you managed to piss me off that much!”
Collecting all the energy that had been gathering in the universe up to that point, Cole brought it all down right onto Rizevim. In a bright flash that rivaled the Big Bang, the bolt tore through the World Barrier that separated all the different realms in the DxD universe. Every single one was hit by a powerful surge of energy that incapacitated billions of people throughout each realm. Those who had not been watching what was taking place in the Human World at that moment were left in a panic trying to figure out what was happening.
—Norse Realm—
“What in the heck is going on!?”, Odin shouted as the realm shook violently and part of his domain was vaporized by the lightning, “THOR!!”
“It wasn’t me…this time.”, Thor remarked running into the room with Baldr, “Something is going on down in the Human World! Sif sent a message saying that their world suddenly started shaking violently for some reason.”
“You are saying a human caused this!?”, Odin remarked skeptically, “I swear if you started another war with the Frost Giants, I will cast you down to the Human World to learn humility and peace!”
Before either of them could respond, a broadcast window appeared next to them. Wanting to use Rizevim as an example to all factions, Cole wanted to make damn sure everyone knew not to fuck with his family or the Youkai Faction.
—Underworld—
Having blasted Rizevim straight through the Underworld and into Hades’ domain, his screams of agony were loud enough that everyone in all the realms could hear him. Stuck in an endless loop of regeneration and evisceration, Rizevim was going insane from the pain he was going through. Unlike normal pain, the lightning made it impossible for him to faint or for the pain to dull. He was feeling it all without any chance of relief until Cole deemed it.
“Do you all hear his screams?”, Cole inquired of everyone watching the broadcast, “That is the sound of Lucifer’s son Rizevim stuck in an endless loop of death and revitalization. He felt my warning was a bluff, and decided to test my patience. Not only did he attack the Youkai, he decided to threaten my lovely daughter whom many of you met at the Conference Hall.”
Dissipating the lightning with a thought, Cole used Telekinesis to pull Rizevim to him. Holding the spoiled brat with a death grip, he dispelled the curse and showed everyone the heavily disfigured Rizevim. Watching him cry on screen, the Devils that knew him personally understood how bad things were for them. Having never once shown weakness to anyone, since he hid it behind a facade of confidence and arrogance, everyone was shocked to see him reduced to that state.
“I gave the Three Factions a simple ultimatum, leave the Youkai alone or deal with me. Attacking them is an attack on me, and I don’t take prisoners!”, I remarked as I began using Bio Leech to siphon his life force from Rizevim.
“KILL ME!!”, Rizevim screamed as everyone watched in horror as the once beautiful man shriveled up into a mummy.
Crushing his bones to dust, Cole’s red eyes flashed brilliantly before speaking again.
“This doesn’t end with Rizevim, your Nobility will pay in blood for his actions today. The civilian populace and reasonable nobles will be spared, because I am a generous soul, but the rest of you vermin will not live to see another sunset.”, Cole venomously spat as he snapped his fingers.
Forcibly teleporting those people into a separate space, Cole left behind those he deemed necessary sacrifices. Taking to the skies to fight for their lives, he cracked a smile and teleported them all to his location. Once all of them were in one place, the massacre began.
“Anti-Magic Zone.”, Cole said casting one of his many advanced magics.
Instantly dropping out of the sky, Devils let out screams of terror as they plummeted to the ground. Those that land first became landing pads for everyone else. Crushing them to death, those who still had the ability to talk began berating Cole was using such cowardly methods to fight them. Demanding that they be given a fighting chance to beat him, he couldn’t help but laugh at their request.
“Haha, the vermin think they deserve a fighting chance!!”, Cole mocked them, “When you step on a bug, do you give them a chance to fight you first? Of course you don’t, you trample them underfoot and continue doing as you please. If you want to blame anyone for what is about to happen, look no further than Lucifer. He couldn’t control his man-child son, had Rizevim not attacked the Youkai and threatened my family you would not be in this situation now.”
Seeing his eyes begin to glow even more intensely, Cole began to use his Video Conduit Power to generate an army of Hellions. Drawing inspiration from a game he’d played in the past, Doom, he manifest millions of Hellions to slaughter the Devils alongside him. Watching the terrain around them be covered by the Hellions, the Devils stuck in the center turned pale.
“As of this moment, your continued existence is no longer needed. Consider this mercy from me!”, Cole said as he made the Hellions rush the Devils.
Grabbing anything they could find to defend themselves, very few Devils had actual weapons on their person. Pushing and shoving one another to stay alive a bit longer, their true nature as cowards shone brightly as Shedevils began offering themselves to me in exchange for their lives and Devils offered their daughters to me. Giving them all an irritated look, Cole decided to speed up the process using his Light Conduit Powers. Freezing them in place so they couldn’t move, the Hellions easily began dismembering them.
“None of you here are qualified to ever be among my wives. All of you are beyond saving!”, Cole remarked as he dropped another massive bolt of lightning on the group.
