—Cole POV—
“Cole…I cannot keep up with you…”, Lilith panted with exhaustion, “I did not plan for such…physical exertion today…”
“Same here…can we please slow down a bit…”, Leviathan pleaded gasping for air on the floor, “I can hardly feel my legs…”
“You just suck at this, that is all!!”, Serafall boasted, “Misla and I can keep up with him no problem, right girl?”
“At the moment yes, but my legs are becoming wobbly…”, Misla admitted sheepishly, “Cole, can we please take a break for a moment?”
“Yeah, that is fine.”, I replied with a smirk, “You know what you are saying can be misconstrued by people in the arcade. Some of the poor guys here are probably wishing I would just explode haha!”
Playing Dance Dance for two hours straight, Leviathan and Lilith were completely tapped out of energy. Ready to move on to other games, preferably ones where they could sit down, they were already looking around the space for options. Finishing the song we were on, Misla went to get off the platform and nosedived as her legs gave out. Moving in front of her, I caught Misla before she hit the floor and asked if she was alright. With her face buried in my chest, she took a deep breath before realizing what she was doing.
“I…I am sorry!!”, she shrieked trying to push herself away from me.
“Calm down, let me help you to a bench.”, I replied pretending to not have noticed what she did.
Princess carrying her to a bench a few yards from us, her face turned bright red with embarrassment. Setting her down gently, I asked her if she would like some water. Accepting my offer for a bottle of water, she insisted that I help Leviathan and Lilith first before getting her drink. Carrying the other two over the same way, I pulled a few bottles out of storage and offered it to them.
“Come on, hurry up slowpokes!!”, Serafell said with excitement, “There are a lot more games I want to play!!”
“Give us a moment.”, Leviathan sighed before taking a sip of water, “How can you possibly have so much energy still? Do you have some sort of item that gives you unlimited energy?”
While Serafell thought about that, I looked at my watch and noticed that it was already 8 pm. Needing to get them back soon, I apologized to her and said we had to call it a night.
“Sorry Serafell, I have to get you ladies back home. If I keep you out any longer, your family might have a meltdown.”, I chuckled, “Especially Misla’s family.”
“That is very true.”, Misla admitted with a smile, “They can be a bit overprotective at times.”
“Ah, come on!! Just a few more games, please!!”, Serafell pleaded with me, “I wanted to win some of the prizes behind the counter like that Magic Girl Doll!!”
“You can try winning it on our next date. The employee said that they always have some in stock so do not worry about it.”, Leviathan scolded her, “Please do not ruin the good mood we have going on right now.”
Staring at her in shock, I was stunned that she wanted to go on another date already. I had assumed that this was a one-time only thing as we had forcefully dragged her out of her home. Happy to see that she enjoyed herself, it appeared she recognized what she blurted out before thinking about it. Quickly trying to come up with an excuse to avoid sounding interested in me, I held back my laughter when I heard what she came up with.
“I…I mean it is my duty to continue going on dates with him. Our people choose Serafell and me to be Runeas’ replacements so I cannot back out now.”, she remarked trying to spin it as her making a selfless sacrifice, “Even as a former leader of our people, I still have a responsibility to lead by example!”
Seeing Serafell start to comment on her reaction, she stopped herself and remained silent out of courtesy. Asking her if she could wait till a later date to come back here, Serafell let out a sigh and nodded her head.
“Oh alright, I guess I can wait for a bit.”, she agreed, “So…are there other exciting places like this around the world?”
“Oh yes, we have water and amusement parks, paintball, the beach, and many other exciting places to go to. Next time I suppose we could go to a carnival or amusement park to have some fun. I am sure you would like the rollercoasters and water slides, they are a lot of fun and take photos of us to remember our time together.”, I told her as I patted her head, “Now then, let me send you ladies home properly.”
Opening four separate portals for them, I thanked them for indulging my selfish request today. Laughing at that, they assured me that they enjoyed our time together and looked forward to future dates. Offering to walk them to their doors, Serafell was the first to tell me that she was fine on her own. Planting a kiss on my cheek, she thanked me for the sweets and introducing her to gaming. Flying off through her portal in a hurry, the young Devil gave me no time to reply to her.
“Damn that cheeky brat!”, Leviathan spat in defeat, “Thank you for the kind offer Cole, but I do not want to inconvenience you like that. Hopefully, my servants have not burned the home to the ground so I can start thinking things over. You showed me a wonderful time, and…well it was genuinely the first time I have had this much fun. Today has opened my eyes, I now see that there is much more to life than power and authority. All that really matters is having someone to share it with.”
Sprouting her wings, she flew over and gave me a kiss on the lips. Seeing a genuine smile on her face for the first time, Leviathan leaned in and whispered something in my ear.
“If things continue to progress like this, I would not mind marrying you and being your wife. Leaving my old life behind does not sound so bad if I had someone like you to keep me company.”, Leviathan whispered, “Thank you for such an amazing day.”

While I admitted that the aura she gave off was completely different from when we first met, I needed to see more change in her before I would consider anything close to that. If she genuinely did change into a better person, there was no reason to turn down a beauty like her.
“I think it would be best not to give my parents a heart attack by bringing you back home with me.”, Misla giggled with a warm smile, “This has been the most wonderful day of my life if I am being honest. While I know it is a long shot and we just met…it would be an honor to marry such a kind man like you. I am certain you would not abandon me like you said the next Lord Bael would.”
Giving me a shy hug, Misla turned bright red and stumbled through her portal leaving me with just Lilith.
“Alright, Mother of Devils, would you like me to walk you home?”, I asked offering my arm.
“Of course.”, she said graciously accepting my offer.

Stepping out into her garden, I closed the portal behind us so someone did not accidentally stumble into this world. Confirming that all of her servants were asleep, Lilith did something rather unexpected for me. Changing into her mature, adult form, she gave me a warm smile before placing a hand on my cheek.

“You are the second man to ever see this form of mine.”, Lilith said nervously, “As you may be able to tell…I am heavily damaged goods and would be a terrible wife for you. Pursue one or all of the other three women, I am content with standing on the sidelines and watching from afar.”
“I know you can recover in a few centuries, or I can easily heal your body with my power.”, I told Lilith as I held her hand, “You do not need to rush into another relationship, take your time and find the woman you used to be. Forevermore you are no longer Lucifer’s baby factory, you are simply Lilith. Once you are happy with yourself again, we can broach the topic of being a couple. No matter what you say about yourself, I see a beautiful mother who gave her everything for her children.”
Watching her smile brighten, Lilith pulled me into a deep kiss and pressed herself against me. “Do not apologize to me, it is me who should be apologizing to you. Up until today I honestly believed you only wanted me to use me to control my children.”, Lilith admitted, “Thank you for showing me what I fool I have been all these years. Now I can finally move forward and begin working toward the future I should have had thousands of years ago.”
Giving me one final kiss on the lips, Lilith reverted back to her loli form with a wince of pain. Forcing a smile on her face even though she was in excruciating pain, she thanked me for seeing her home.
“Take this too, I gave one to Gaberial and Yasaka.”, I said handing Lilith a phone, “With this, you and I can talk no matter where we are. If you have any questions, just let me know when I stop by in a few days. Tomorrow I will be tied up dealing with some troublesome humans that cannot continue to breathe anymore.”
Graciously accepting the phone from me, Lilith walked back into her home and ran up to her room with a beaming smile on her face.
