—Teleport Labyrinth, 3rd Floor—

Reaching a relatively safe spot for the night, our group began setting up camp. Pitching our tents and getting a fire going, I inquired what Paul’s group would be eating tonight. Pulling out smoked meat, cheese, and bread, Geese stated that they would be making sandwiches with the fresh ingredients meant for the trip to Rapan.

“Thanks to you, we can eat this delicious, fresh food instead of stale bread and jerky!”, Geese sniffled, immensely grateful for this blessing, “What are you going to make?”

“A hearty beef stew with fresh vegetables, homemade bread, a fruit salad, apple pie, and of course several bottles of wine.”, I chuckled, pulling my cooking equipment out of my Storage.

“Say what now…”, Geese gulped, watching the pile of ingredients grow, “Why did you not have him plan our meals, Paul!? We could have eaten like Kings tonight!!”

“He is already doing a lot to help us.”, Paul stated, not wanting to be even more indebted to me, “Name another party that has reached the third floor this quickly. At this rate we will be out of here in two more days, that is unheard of! The quickest anyone has cleared this labyrinth before was two weeks, and we are going to shatter that record by eleven days!”

“He is right Geese, this progress is highly unusual.”, Tallhand agreed, slicing the smoked meat, “We made it this far because Cole’s presence sent most monsters into hiding. The few who did attack were newborn monsters with no combat experience which were easy pickings for us.”

“Fair enough…”, Geese sighed, slicing his bread.

Tossing Geese some tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and pickles, I told him to share the ingredients with his comrades. Bowing his head, Geese thanked me for my generosity before prepping the ingredients for the sandwiches. Using magic to heat my Dutch Oven quickly, I brought the beef broth to temperature before dropping the ingredients in. Seasoning the stew and letting it cook, while I focused on preparing the rest of our meal.

—Thirty Minutes Later—

“It is so good!!”, Serafall proclaimed, taking her first bite, “This is better than the food I eat back home!!”

“For once, I agree with you. This is the best meal I have ever eaten in my life.”, Leviathan said, looking at the soup with a smile, “It is hard to believe that several months back I was ready to crawl into a hole and die. If I had, I would have missed out on the best months I have ever had. While it has not been entirely perfect, it has shown me how blind I was as a Devil King. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would end up dungeon crawling, but here I am having fun with people I have come to call my friends.”

Looking at her in shock, Lilith and Serafall dropped their spoons in disbelief. Never in their wildest dreams did they believe Leviathan would call them friends.

“Oh Levi-chan, you have finally come around!!”, Runeas shouted, running over and hugging Leviathan from behind, “I am so happy you are finally calling us your friends!! You are no longer the old, grumpy hag you once were!!”

“Hag!?”, Leviathan shouted, looking up at her, “Who are you calling a Hag?! We are the same-”

Sliding her arms up Leviathan’s body in an instant, Runeas placed Leviathan in a chokehold and used her chest to add additional pressure to her neck. Dropping her spoon, Leviathan began flailing around trying to get free as she was unable to breathe. Looking to Lilith and Serafall for help, neither of them wanted any part of this quarrel as they knew how violent Runeas got when her age was brought up.

“Runeas, please let Leviathan go. We all know you are forever twenty-one.”, I remarked, attempting to soothe her anger.

“Hehe, alright!”, Runeas agreed, releasing the nearly blacked-out Leviathan, “You know just what to say to make a girl happy.”

“Thanks…Cole…”, Leviathan wheezed, glaring at Lilith and Serafall, “Forget friends…you are aquaintances now!!”

Chuckling at her response to their actions, the two women nodded their heads accepting the temporary downgrade in status. Scarfing down their meals and dessert, the women helped me clean up our dinner mess and climbed into our tent for the night. Erecting a barrier around our camp, I told Paul’s team not to worry about maintaining a night watch as the barrier would keep them safe.

“Thank you, Cole.”, Paul said, with a grateful smile.

“Goodnight Ghislaine and Ciri.”, I told the two women.

“Night.”, Ghislaine replied, falling into her bedroll.

“Do try to keep your nightly activities to a minimum, please. I do not want to hear squeaking into the early morning hours tonight.”, Ciri teased me, with a playful wink.

“Do not tell me how to live my life!”, I chuckled, “Asshole!”

Laughing at each other, the two of us fist-bumped each other and headed our separate ways. Walking into my tent, I sealed the entrance behind me to prevent unwanted visitors from entering overnight. Looking around for the women, all of them were wandering around and checking the space out. Having made this tent specifically for dungeon crawling, it was equipped with a spacious bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, and a large bedroom. Fascinated by the immense space inside a seemingly small tent, they were more than satisfied with this level of camping.

“I have plenty of bedrolls for everyone.”, I remarked, as I began pulling them out, “Come grab one.”

Pulling several options for them out, I noticed that none of the women had moved to grab one.

“Did you bring your own?”, I asked.

“Are we unable to share the bed with Yasaka and you?”, Lilith replied, glancing back at the massive bed.

“Yeah, that is fine.”, I said, putting the bedrolls back in storage, “Does that mean what I think it does?”

Running into the bathroom before I got an answer, Yasaka told me to look forward to this evening before joining them. Changing into my pajamas, with a snap of my finger, I pulled out several extra pillows for everyone so each of them could get comfortable. As I was fluffing the pillows, Serafall came charging out of the bathroom shouting at me to take a look at them. Looking back at the women, I was left completely speechless by what I saw.

Having planned for tonight’s activities, the women had brought lace nightgowns and silken undergarments to lay on the charm. Looking at me with expectant gazes, they waited for me to tell them what I thought of their appearance. Blinking my eyes a few times, I gave them my honest opinion.

“You ladies are breathtaking, I cannot come up with better words to describe you.”, I said, with a smile, “This is well worth the trouble you have caused me. All is forgiven now.”

“Pain and suffering, is it?”, Leviathan repeated, with a smirk, “Oh no, you do not understand what pain and suffering are. Come on Runeas, it is time for that slumber party game you taught me.”

“Which one?”, Runeas asked, with a confused look, “I showed you-”

“Serafall, it is go time.”, Misla stated, glancing at the pillows on the bed.

“PILLOW FIGHT!!”, Serafall shouted, shooting past me to grab two of them, “HAVE AT THEE NAIVES!!!”

Understanding now what Leviathan was saying, Runeas chased after Serafall to retrieve a few pillows. Tossing them to the other women, I found myself surrounded without a pillow left for me.

“Oh come on, I cannot have one?”, I inquired.

“Of course not.”, Leviathan laughed, “Get him!!”

Jumping off the bed, Runeas and Serafall attempted to bash me over the head with their pillows but I had other plans. Grabbing them both in midair, I RKO’d both of them on the edge of the bed. Caught off guard by the move, the two let go of their pillows for a moment allowing me to take one.

“Thank you for your generous donation!”, I chuckled.

“Where did you learn that move!?”, Serafall demanded to know, “That was a cheap shot!!”

“I have plenty more where that came from.”, I said, “Now come on, I do not have all night!”

Accepting my challenge, the six women proceed to rush me all at once. Doing my best to keep them at bay, they took turns dive-bombing me while the others attacked from all sides. Letting them do as they pleased, we continued fighting one another for at least an hour before they called it quits. Cleaning up the feathers and dust with a snap of my finger, I inquired if they wanted to take a bath.

“We can take one in the morning.”, Leviathan replied, looking at Lilith, “You are sure you are up for this? If you are not ready, we can continue to wait.”

“No, I am certainly ready for this. I no longer see a need to mourn the life I had when what I have now is so much better.”, Lilith proclaimed, “While my body is not completely healed, it has recovered enough that I should be alright. Please be gentle with me Cole.”

“I will do my best to not overdo it.”, I promised, “How about some wine before we go to bed?”

“That is a fantastic idea.”, Yasaka agreed.

Pour each of us a glass, we savored the spiced wine before climbing into bed with one another. Turning out the lights, I gingerly peeled off the few bits of clothing they had on before kissing them. Tossing their clothing onto the floor, we settled in for a long night of passionate lovemaking.
