—3rd Person POV, Underworld—

Sitting in a room with many prominent figures of their world, Azazel sat back listening to the Devil Factions' unwarranted demands. Having come together today to broker a ceasefire to stop further bloodshed, the Demon Kings weren’t making this easy for anyone. The Biblical God and himself had already come to an agreement, it was just the Devils that were holding up negotiations. Seeing this meeting as a sign of their weaknesses the Devils were blindly trying to strongarm many concessions out of everyone before agreeing to the ceasefire.

‘At this rate, we will be here for the rest of the century…’, Azazel thought as he eyed the woman he’d brought with them, ‘If only I could suggest a thirty-minute break, it would be all I needed to recharge my energy.’

Feeling his lustful gaze on her, the female devil squirmed around uncomfortably. On one side she had her horny lover eyeing her, which was manageable, but on the other were several angry Devils that were cursing her under their breath. She knew full well what she was doing was unethical, given the political climate, but she enjoyed the pleasure he gave her far too much to quit.

“...Azazel, are you listening?”, the Biblical God asked with an amused smile, “You seem to be distracted by something…or someone.”

“No, I am fine…”, Azazel lied snapping his attention back to the discussion, “As I have said several times already, our faction isn’t handing over any territory for this ceasefire. I was under the impression we came together today to put our quarrels aside for our shared future. Last I checked all parties involved in this war are nearing the brink of extinction, if nothing is done we will all die out.”

“That may be true for your two factions, but we Devils can continue this fight!”, Lucifer proudly proclaimed, “If what you say is true, maybe we should discuss terms of surrender instead of a ceasefire.”

Rolling his eyes in response, Azazel knew he’d say that. Even though billions of Devils had died since the war started, if it meant securing victory, he’d happily doom his own race to extinction. To Lucifer, as long as he had his wife Lilith with him…he could just force her to pop more out.

While the prominent three factions started arguing back and forth with one another again, the smaller factions nervously sat back waiting for a verdict. These smaller factions had no say in these negotiations, and were completely reliant on their pantheon allies to plead their cases for them…but up till now none of them had spoken up making them feel all the more helpless. Knowing that more horrible days were ahead of them if the ceasefire agreement didn’t pass, one young woman was on the verge of tears listening to them argue.

‘Please let there be peace…’, Yasaka thought clutching her good luck charm, ‘We need this to happen or the Youkai will die out! Someone please help us!”

As she thought that, the room began to vibrate uncontrollably. Stopping their arguments immediately Lucifer, the Biblical God, and Azazel turned back to look at their subordinates for answers. Shaking their heads as the vibration became even more intense, Lucifer turned to the other two and began accusing them causing this. Having tolerated his antics for long enough, the Biblical God snapped.

“Silence!”, the Biblical God commanded him, “This is not of my doing, I came here for peace not to kill any of you!!”

“He’s right, something is hitting the World Barrier!!”, Azazel said as a device on his wrist began squawking, “A breach is opening up two miles to the south of us.”

“...not again…”, the Biblical God muttered as he hid his fear behind a calm face, ‘I don’t have enough power left to seal another one of abominations…’

Having watched the reactions of Fallen Angels and Heaven Factions, Lilith was confident neither were responsible for the shaking. Rising from her seat, she reminded her husband that a similar incident happened not to long ago and that the cause was never determined. Recalling reading about that event in one of his reports, Lucifer knew whatever caused it last time left a trail of devastation behind.

“We are leaving to deal with this.”, Lucifer told the other factions, “We can continue this discussion afterward.”

“Not so fast, we are coming along too.”, Azazel remarked, “For all we know this is another one of your ploys to attack us from behind.”

Knowing that his comment was a bald-faced lie, he was really just interested in getting out of here for a bit. If he let them walk away, Azazel would be stuck here with the Biblical God who would likely start lecturing him again about all the sins he’d committed and how he expected better from him.

“Do as you will.”, Lucifer agreed not wanting to leave them behind either, ‘If this is a trap, I want to expose culprits for the cowards they are!’

Heading out in a large group, the Biblical God and the Angels ended up having to ferry most of the other factions there as they couldn’t fly. Seeing a large crack starting to form in the World Barrier, they could see several Pillar Families already present at the scene. As they drew closer to them, Lucifer demanded to know what was going on.

“It just started a few moments ago.”, the Bael Family Head informed him, “The cracks are coming from the outside of the barrier, not from our side.”

“Could it be Ophis and Great Red at it again?”, Azazel remarked, “Those two have been fighting for control of the Dimensional Gap pretty hard recently.”

“Doubtful…their skirmishes rarely damage the World Barrier, and never to this extent.”, the Biblical God said clenching his fist.

For a brief moment the shaking stopped, but immediately afterward the crack exploded as a group of people came flying out out. Watching the majority of the fall to pieces as they flew through the air, two of the people were still fighting with one another. Feeling the powerful shockwaves that the two men were unleashing with each clash, many people were nearly blown away by the air pressure.

Watching the dismembered corpses begin to regenerate again, a powerful jet of red lightning arced out and zapped them. Sensing the corpses quickly lose their power, the Biblical God began to panic as he noticed the man’s power increase ever so slightly afterward.

“That sword!”, Michael shouted recognizing one of the blades being used, “Where did he get that!?”

Pointing to a blade that was clearly Excaliber, Michael was dumbstruck to see the blade in perfect condition. Up till now, he had been under the impression the blade was in pieces but clearly that wasn’t the case. While he was focused on the blade, Azazel and the Biblical God were more fixated on the spear he was using. Feeling an overwhelming sense of dread wash over them as they looked at it, they understood that it was really bad news.

“This game ends now!”, Cole shouted as he managed to knock Caliburn out of the God of Deceit’s hand.

Dropping a massive bolt of lightning down on himself, Cole instantly turned into The Beast and began bending space around him. Quickly creating a dense ball of Ray Sphere energy, both the Biblical God and Azazel knew it was time to flee. Telling his children to grab everyone they could and flee the area, the Devil Kings were none to happy to be ferried away by Angels.

“Why are we running!? We can take-”, Lucifer started to say as the ball of energy violently exploded engulfing the area in a bright white dome.

Watching every living thing the energy touch die in an instant, those Devils that hadn’t taken the queue to leave were quickly eviserated while screaming out for help. Seeing the dome begin to rapidly expand toward them, the Angels prepared to teleport as they weren’t going to out run it. Just as they were about to teleport though, the energy began to recede back into Cole.

“You still want to fight that thing?”, Azazel mocked Lucifer, “It would appear that it can steal our life force instantly! I don’t know about you, but I am wouldn’t want to piss it off!”

“Shut up!”, Lucifer hissed in annoyance.

Hearing the God of Deceit’s Death Throes as Cole started siphoning all the remaining power he had, the group hung back to watch what would happen next from a distance.

—Cole POV—

“This is the end of the line you fucking piece of shit!”, I said usurping his powers, “Say hello to the other two bastards when you meet them!”

Snapping my fingers the deity violently exploded into millions of pieces. Erasing any signs of his existence, I reverted back to my normal self and cracked my neck with a smile. Stowing Gáe Bolg on my back I used magnetism to pull Caliburn over to me. Using my magic to quickly repair the damaged blade, it was nice to see it back in its proper condition.

“Another Holy Weapon for the collection, neat!”, I chuckled as I sheathed both Excaliber and it, “Alright…so better close this giant hole.”

Using my newfound strength to close the breach we made with ease, I began hearing the terrified screams of nearby people. Realizing that we had broken through a World Barrier next to a city, the fact that they were afraid was completely my fault. Clearing my throat to speak with them, I hoped that my Translation Magic would work in this world.

“Sorry about the damage!”, I called out to them, “Everyone alright?”

Instead of answering me, the inhabitants fled into their homes to hide. Realizing it was the most reasonable response after witnessing what I’d done, I was going to leave when I sensed a group approaching me. Turning to face and greet them several faces stood out from among them letting me know I’d landed on a rather interesting world.

“So is this several hundred or several thousand years prior to the main story I wonder.”, I mumbled to myself, “Either way, the mature women here are almost exclusively tens…though my wives are over nine thousand.”

“Quite a display there, Mr..?”, Azazel inquired as he floated down to greet me.

“My name is Cole Bolt, no need to introduce yourself Azazel. I am already well aware of who all of you are.”, I told him with a grin, “This the latest woman to catch your fancy?”

Giving me a puzzled look as he touched down, the Fallen Angel didn’t know how to respond to that. Asking me if we had met before I shook my head, and told him that this was our first meeting. Noticing that he was glancing at Gáe Bolg with a slight amount of fear, it appeared he instinctively sensed what this weapon was capable of.

“No need to be shy, I won’t bite anyone.”, I chuckled in a playful tone, “I suppose you all want an explanation so lets get this over with.”
