Walking inside the mansion, the two didn't actually attract much attention. Everyone was looking at the group of women dancing in the middle of the stage located in front of the tables and chairs. The party was at the back of the mansion where everyone could have the perfect view of the city lights and the garden.
Small tables for people who wanted to stand can be seen near the bar while the bigger tables were placed near the stage. This time, Lyca didn't immediately go to the table nearest to the food. Instead, Shen Qui and her walked towards her grandfather, who was surrounded by many people.
"Grandfather," Lyca's smile was as gentle as her voice. She hugged her grandfather. "Happy birthday!"
Old Man Tang laughed. After the ambush, he already told Huang Sheng Hong not to show up and just leave the country. It was becoming more dangerous for them. He was confident that many people would use his birthday to try and meet Lyca.
He wouldn't want to put his daughter and granddaughter into a difficult situation.
