Still being hypnotized, I didn't get the last sentence he said as I quickly grabbed the stem of the rose before he could say anything else that could rattle my already muddled mind.
"T-thank you..." I avoided his gaze and looked at the rose instead.

The silence became awkward.
Now, what?!! What should I do?!! I should first find a vase for this flower, right? But should I just leave him there standing at the door? That would be rude, right?
"Uhmm... Do you want to come inside?"
Cain nodded.
I turned around, hurriedly to find a vase to put the rose so we could leave.
Cain entered, and his gaze followed the pretty girl around.
"Sit anywhere you like. Do you want something to drink? I only have water at the moment." I wanted to hit myself.
Why offer if you don't have anything to offer?! Idiot!
Cain remained standing and continued to follow the uneasy girl with a heated gaze.
I was busying to find a damn vase and wracked my brains out trying to guess where I had put that freakin' glass jar.
Dammit!! I don't have a vase!
I quickly let out a long glass bottle, poured water in it, and put the rose inside.
Relieve, I turned around to face the man and was stunned to actually found him just inches away from me. His smell enticingly assaulted my nose that I almost wondered off to dreamland.
How did he just magically appear in front of me?!
I raised my head to look at him and immediately regretted it.
His handsome face was just inches from mine, and I could already feel his warm fresh breath fanning my face.
Alarmed, I ran for the door and was about to turn the handle when a large hand nestled on top of mine. I froze, I felt his warmth on my back as his arm gently circled my waist, his warm breath tickling my ear.
I sensed my blood rushing, my face heating, and that dizziness from the surging of my body's temperature.
"You look beautiful." Cain softly whispered, making me shiver. It was ticklish, but at the same time hot.
Before I could even react, Cain released me and opened the door.
"After you," he said with an unreadable face.
Afraid of what he might do next, I immediately stormed out of my unit and ran-walked towards the elevator lobby with Cain leisurely walking beside me.
Inside the elevator, it was pure silence that even a drop of a needle could be heard. My face, still burning as my breathing sharp and shallow. I tried to compose myself.
What are you flustering about?! Don't you see that he's only nice to you because he wants something from you?!
Thinking along those lines, I regained my bearing, and when the elevator stopped in the basement, I walked towards my car. However, a hand suddenly grabbed mine and I was forced to turn around.
"We'll take my car," Cain said with a tone that couldn't be refused.
Before I could even say anything, I was pulled in front of a white Bugatti Veyron sports car.
