Su Lian and Han Yuan both turn around to face the little boy who just woke up.
Su Lian looks down at herself and sees that she is being carried by Han Yuan. She immediately pushes herself out of his embrace and straightens out her clothing.
She runs to Su Yichen and rubs his head. "Xiao Chen, are you okay?"
He wraps his tiny arms around her neck and nods his head. He turns to stare briefly at Han Yuan before resting his head on her shoulders.
"Sleepy." He says.
"We'll be home soon." Su Lian carries her son and walks towards the door.
Han Yuan was about to block her path but decided against it.
He hasn't introduced himself to his son yet. When he got here, he met him sleeping in the nurse's office and carried him here to wait for Su Lian to come so he could get some answers.
He didn't expect the boy to wake up in the middle of it.
If he continues to question Su Lian and she cries again, he'll leave a bad first impression in his son's mind.
Seeing Han Yuan make no attempt to stop her, Su Lian makes a beeline straight for her car.
He doesn't rush to catch up, he just gets into his own car and follows her closely.

Staring at the man sitting in their living room, Su Yichen feels curious. 'This is the man that hugged mommy and brought me toys.'
He looks at his mother for answers but she immediately turns her head away, not daring to meet his eyes.
It was a stalemate, all three of them sat in silence.
Su Lian feels frusrtated. This man barged into her house and she couldn't stop him. Now that he's inside, he's just sitting on the couch and drinking tea.
The sound of her doorbell ringing made Su Lian sigh in relief. Stephanie had gone out with her little brother, Su Qiong today so that's probably them.
She goes to open the door, but instead of her grandmother and brother, she's faced with Han Lili's happy face. The girl has her hair dyed back to its previous black colour and she is holding a big brown paper bag.
"Lili?"
"I brought some snacks for you and my favourite little boy." Han Lili says enthusiastically while raising the paper bag above her head. "We should eat first and then go to a mall or something. I've been so bored lately."
"Um, now isn't really a good time. I have a guest that I need to attend to."
"Guest? You haven't replaced me, have you?" Han Lili voice is tinged with worry.
Hearing the familiar voice, Han Yuan turns his head to face it.
When his eyes land on his sister, he gets overwhelmed with rage.
His own sister knew the existence of his son, but didn't tell him?
He stares at her viciously. If eyes could kill, she would be dead a thousand times.
Feeling the cold glare assaulting her senses, Han Lili turns around to look at who is staring at her with such a murderous gaze.
Her confused eyes meet with her brother's menacing ones and she gets paralyzed in fear. Her legs go soft and she almost faints.
Su Lian notices the oppressive atmosphere and raises a brow. "You know each other?" She asks guessing that they may be enemies or something.
"He- he." Han Lili struggles to think of the right words to say. "I think he's my brother."
"You think?"
