"He is my brother, we have the same mother and father so that makes us siblings." Han Lili tries to think of a way out, but she can't come up with anything on the spot. "We aren't close at all though. Sometimes I forget what he looks like."
Han Lili scratches her head. She hopes her disclaimer at the end is enough to absolve her from guilt in Su Lian's mind.
Su Lian stands frozen in shock.

Brother and sister?
She looks between Han Yuan and Han Lili and notices that a lot of their features are quite similar. They also have the same last name, Han. They are actually siblings.
How is she just figuring this out now?
So was Lili the one who told Han Yuan about her son? After all, he is her brother.
Thinking this way, Su Lian feels slightly betrayed. Of all the friends she could have made, it just had to be Yuan's sister.
Han Lili stands awkwardly at the door regretting her decision to come here.
How did she get so unlucky and end up visiting at the exact same time as the iceberg? Why is he even here?
More importantly, when did he find out about his son?
She coughs to clear her throat and tries to ease the tense atmosphere. "Are you two busy?"
Han Yuan continues to glare at glare at her, and Su Lian just doesn't reply.
"Maybe I came by at a bad time. You two should carry on your conversation. Pretend I was never here." She drops the brown paper bag on the table by the door and scurries off to her car as fast as she can.
Once inside, she whips out her phone and calls her mother.
Lili: "We have a big problem."
Yumei: "What problem? What happened?"
Lili: "Yuan found out about his son."
Yumei: "What? How did -- Did you tell him?"
Lili: " No, of course not."
Yumei: "It's okay, just calm down. Make sure he doesn't go confront the boy's mother and I will deal will deal with the rest."
Lili: "He has already confronted her. He's at her house now.Now she knows that I'm his sister too."
Yumei: "What an idiot. This ruins all our plans. How did I give birth to such a foolish son? He's going to mess everything up and I won't be able to meet my grandson."
Lili: "What do we do now?"
Yumei: "Come home first. We need to regroup and create another plan with your father."
Lili: "Alright."
Han Lili ends the call and puts her phone away. She takes one last glance at Su Lian's house before driving off.

Su Lian sits on her couch with Su Yichen snuggled beside her.
"Don't I at least get an explanation?" Han Yuan finally opens his mouth to speak.
Su Lian looks up at him. "An explanation-- what do you need me to explain?"
Seeing her play ignorant, the anger he had managed to suppress, reignites. "Su Lian, when were you planning to tell me?"
"If I'm being honest, I was never going to."
Su Yichen looks curiously between his mother and the man opposite them on the other couch.
He knows this man.
He brought him toys that day and showed up at his school today.
Is he his other uncle? Or maybe even...
"Mommy, who is he?" Su Yichen looks up and asks his mother the question that has been on his mind since the car ride home.
Su Lian's face shows hesitation.

"I'm your father."
