"Let me go." She pulls her hand out from his before staring up at him with angry eyes. "You asked me to wait here but you never told me that the person who has my son is a wanted criminal."
Han Yuan looks around in confusion and one of his guards points at the T.V.He follows his finger and sees the news story on Shen Xun. He nods in understanding before returning his gaze to Su Lian."Just calm down first. I told you that my men are already out looking for her. You being out on the streets won't do anything other than put you in danger."
"I don't care. That's my son. I'm going to look for him and you can't stop me."
Seeing how stubborn she is, Han Yuan gives in. "Fine, but we'll go together and I'll drive."
She nods her head and they go to his car.
While he drives around, they sit in complete silence. Su Lian won't even look at him.
Soon after, her stomach growls.
He hears it and looks at her worriedly. "Are you hungry? We can stop at a restaurant."
Su Lian turns to glare at him. "Restaurant?" She stays silent for a while before speaking again. "My son is missing and you're here talking about food. How can you be so calm, do you even care?"
Her eyes are watery and she tries her hardest to fight back her tears.
Han Yuan stops the car. "Do I care?"
He takes her small hand and places it on his chest. She can feel his heart beating erratically.
He's scared.
"Of course I care. I just met my son and before I even got the chance to make it up to the both you, he gets abducted." He turns to stare deeply into her eyes. "If I started crying now, would that make you feel better?"
Su Lian looks away and does not reply to him.
He doesn't mind and continues, "I need to be strong for the both of us. I want to be a shoulder for you to lean on."
He drives to a convenience store and only gets her a few light snacks to eat because he knows that she won't eat any real food, but he can't let her go hungry.
Han Yuan's phone rings again. He picks it up and stays silent as the person on the other end of the line speaks. Su Lian raises her head to stare at him, hoping it's Shen Xun.
"Alright. Just wait for me" Han Yuan ends the call and puts the phone away
"Who was it?" she asks almost immediately.
"One of my men." He starts the car engine again. "They found Shen Xun, she's not too far from here so we'll head over there now."

A few men in black surround an abandoned building. They calmly stay hidden while waiting for Mr. Han to arrive.
Shen Xun, sitting inside is oblivious to all of this. All of her attention is on the boy in front of her.
Su Yichen has stopped crying but he still doesn't eat the bread she offered.
His little stomach growled. He was going out to eat with his mother before she kidnapped him.
Shen Xun stares at him and sighs before closing her eyes. "We're going to leave in the morning and from then on you will only be able to eat scraps. If you don't eat this now, you'll starve."
