Work is just starting to come around again but recently, I’ve started doing a lot of new things for my personal life.

「Oi! The cow dumped a big one again!」
「Yeah, yeah! I’ll suck it out!」
「This sucker type magic construct is so useful.」
「It sucks and dries whatever the animals release. I wish we had one in our dormitory.」
「Even if we had one in the dormitory, it would be too expensive to use due to magic crystals.」
First, we started animal husbandry in the basement.
The military buried half of the underground passageway and since there was no way to use it for now, we started raising animals there.
The problem was the smell and the disposal of feces and urine. So far, we managed to solve that using a hastily made deodorizer and a vacuum cleaner with dehydration function.
As to why I started doing such things, there were circumstances that compelled me to do so.
Well, I guess you could say that it’s all because of…..the Schenker family’s dungeon meat distribution or thanks to the fact that meat is so common in the city……
Originally, the distribution of meat in Torquiva was limited.
Meat hunted by adventurers, meat produced by local livestock producers, and meat brought in from elsewhere, though in small quantities.
Under these circumstances, the value of meat was high and both adventurers and livestock farmers were able to make a living.
However, the situation changed when our family started bringing back meat from the dungeon.
The guild guaranteed the purchase for adventurers but the overpriced meat produced by livestock producers was no longer selling as well as before.
I had stopped selling meat directly to the city but it still seemed to have taken a heavy toll.
The other day, one of the long established livestock producers in Torquiva finally went out of business.
The animals I’m raising in the basement now are the ones I bought from the owner.
「Clok! Cock a doodle doo……」
The chickens running around my feet look healthy so far but I’ve never heard of raising livestock underground, not even in my previous life.
However, there’s not enough land above ground to build a ranch either……the land of the livestock producer that went out of business was also a leased land that’s already been contracted again.
Anyway, we managed to deal with the odor and filth to some extent by brute force but there will be a lot of challenges in the future.
Even though I can cure all diseases, it must be a big challenge.
Well, if you think about it in another way, you never know when the dungeon concession will be taken away and there is nothing wrong with being self-sufficient in meat.
We will take this opportunity to try and look at it positively.
We could produce branded beef, branded pork, local chickens, or something like that in Torquiva.
Also, we could use milk and eggs to make pastries.
I’m looking forward to………puddings and …….caramels……
As I was escaping reality with such thoughts, the back of my knee was poked by a pig’s nose in an underground passageway that still smelled bad even after deodorizing it…..

When I say moving, I don’t mean somewhere far away but at the same place.
The acquisition of all the houses on Schenker Street, which had been underway for some time, is finally complete.
The project to build “Schenker City” where all the single-story houses will be converted into five story apartments, as once planned, has finally kicked off.
And of course, those single-story houses include the former pickle factory headquarters of the Schenker….
And now, the headquarters is being temporarily relocated to the first floor of an apartment building in front of the headquarters, which had been constructed earlier.

「Help me carry the cauldron!」
「Write your name down properly! You’ll get in trouble later!」
