Appearing once again in the real world, Lorien's eyes instantly narrowed in enjoyment as he felt something that he had never felt before.
Previously, Lorien's powers looked as if they were 'imprisoned' within his own body, so, if he wanted to affect the outside world, he needed to be in touch with the target, or at least use a medium such as 'air' to 'reach it'.
However, this sense of 'imprisonment' is finally gone as Lorien felt as if he could do whatever he wanted within his range of perception.
'Aaaahhh, this sense of freedom!' I have never felt it before!'
Closing his eyes and enjoying the moment for a bit longer, Lorien finally release a long breath of air to calm down.
Doing so, he couldn't help but look towards the entrance of his house as a smile inadvertently appeared on his face.
'Hahahaha! It seems that today is a great day!'
'Everything went according to plan and even more!'
'Moreover, It seems that I don't have to go looking for Yuki anymore.'

Suddenly, from the direction that Lorien was looking towards, the loud noise of a motorcycle suddenly sounded quickly followed by the noise of a key getting slotted into a lock and getting turned, finally accompanied by the squeaking of a door.
Even if Lorien hadn't used his 'Divine Sense' to distinguish who the visitor was, he would have easily been able to determine this based just on these clues alone.
As for how he was able to hear those noises from all the way in the garden? That's thanks to his enhanced physical perception!
'Did she know that I was here, or is it just luck?'
Thinking of this, Lorien felt a bit curious as he immediately disappeared from his position following a spatial fluctuation just to appear in the living room startling Yuki who had just entered it, in the process.
'Well, this is much more convenient than walking!' Mused Lorien feeling a bit funny.
However, seeing Yuki's reaction, he knew that it wasn't time for this unless he wanted to get nagged on.
So, without further delay, he immediately waved his hand and greeted her with a wide smile on his face.
"Hey Yuki, how are you!?"
However, hearing this, Yuki's eyes narrowed dangerously as she glared 'viciously' at Lorien.
Doing so, she was unable to hold back her sneer as she spoke mockingly.
"Heh, Look who's here! Now you come back? I thought that you forgot about me, moreover, can't you appear like normal people?"
Hearing this, Lorien felt a bit embarrassed as it was indeed his fault, after all, he had disappeared for such a long time without notifying anyone.
If it weren't for the instructions he left, someone from the company would have already filled out a missing person's report.
Thinking of this, he decided to quickly switch the subject as he knew that there was no way to win this argument, after all, there is no reason to fight a losing 'battle'.
*Cough*
So, after coughing lightly, Lorien puffed his chest in pride and raised his head slightly up before responding arrogantly.
"I was too busy creating the new power system, the process was so delicate that I didn't even have time to eat, not to mention contact anyone!"
Hearing this, Yuki just sneered in response as she had already gotten used to Lorien's lies, however, she still decided not to pierce through this lie as she was interested in Lorien's progress.
So, with the sneer on her face slowly disappearing, she raised one of her eyebrows as a look of intrigue emerged on her visage.
"So, how was your progress?"
Seeing this, Lorien felt a bit relieved as he knew that he had passed the 'test'.
Honestly, if it weren't for the weird relationship that he and Yuki had built in the 7 months period of time when he had first come to Japan, he wouldn't have cared much about what she thought and just ignored her.
However, this period of time allowed their relationship to grow closer, not to mention that they have never been in a leader and subordinate sort of situation as ever since their deal, they kept interacting as partners.
It's just that with them spending a lot of time together, this partnership became a friendship before slowly transforming into a bit of an ambiguous connection.
Thinking of this, Lorien's eyes narrowed slightly as he knew that unless he wanted this ambiguity to disappear, he had to take the first step.
So, holding back his smile, he looked straight at Yuki who standing a few meters away as he moved closer and started teasing her.
"This depends on the reward you are willing to give!"
Seeing this sudden movement, and looking at Lorien's face which was very close to hers, Yuki's eyes narrowed for a moment before smiling
Then, she moved her face even closer to Lorien's, stopping it just inches away from his, causing him to feel her breath on his skin; and doing so, she then responded in a teasing and raspy tone.
"This also depends on your progress~~"
Hearing this, Lorien couldn't help but look at her lips that were close at hand before strengthening his willpower and moving away from her.
Doing so, he noticed the teasing and proud look in her eyes which caused his eyes to narrow as a sneer flashed on his face before instantly disappearing.
'Heh, do you think you won woman?'
Thinking of this, Lorien smiled as he then sat down on the sofa behind him before speaking.
"Alright then, here you go!"
Saying this, he then waved his hand causing a beautiful golden orb to instantly emerge, floating gently in front of Yuki.
Getting the answer he wanted, Lorien didn't try to push things anymore as he knew that she basically had the same thoughts as him, otherwise, considering her personality, she would have punched him in the face instead of reacting like she did.
Knowing this, Lorien didn't want to dwindle any longer as he wanted to get this 'power system' ordeal done with so he could further progress.
After all, with the two parties wanting to advance the relationship, all of this talk about 'rewards' was nothing but an excuse that they randomly chose.
It's just that right now, Yuki's attention that was on Lorien instantly switched to the golden ball that was floating right in front of her eyes.
'Is this for real or is this guy trying to trick me?'
