"It seems that you have guessed the reason!"
"Hahahaha, yes, to think that such a change in domain structure will have such an effect!"

Thinking of this, Lorien couldn't help but feel intrigued wanting to immediately test it, however, this thought was quickly suppressed as he was woken up from his daydream by Gojo who asked back.

Shaking his head feeling satisfied with the answer he got, Lorien wasn't about to ask any dumb questions like how Gojo was able to develop techniques such as Domain Phases.
After all, many techniques such as [New Shadow Style: Simple Domain], [Falling Blossom Emotion], and even Domain Expansion itself were developed by prior ancient Sorcerers.
So, with that in mind, it would be absurd to state that while those Sorcerers have the ability to develop such techniques, Gojo who's one of the most talented Sorcerers to ever live and who has almost reached his full potential is unable to.
Usually, for people like Gojo, the only thing limiting them are their imagination, knowledge, and most importantly the environment they live in.
It's just that now as Gojo finally met a true opponent who also gave him time to grow and improve, his previously untapped potential fully exploded pushing him to even higher heights.

Seeing this, Lorien's face immediately turned serious as he threw all the messy thoughts aside and focused all of his attention on Gojo.
After all, the previous attack was enough to raise Lorien's vigilance to a higher state.

'It's a bit different from what I remember from the original timeline, so it's probably a modified one.'
'Is it a new attack?'
Thinking of this, Lorien immediately turned his attention to the [Red] that was coming from the opposite side.
'If they continue normally in their trajectory they'll definitely make contact, should I stop it?'
Hesitating for a moment, Lorien knew that he'd only need one single thought to mobilize the domain's power to instantly stop these attacks.
It's just that looking at the excited Gojo in front of him whose eyes were burning with passion and with a wide grin drawn on his face, Lorien finally decided not to do so as he instead bursted out laughing as an excited look not that different from Gojo's appeared on his face.
"HAHAHAHAHA!"
'Why should I stop it?'
'You want a direct clash, right? I'll give it to you!!'
'Come on, gather all your Power, Wisdom, and Might!'
'Use it all, burn it all, TRY TO REACH ME!'
As he thought of this, Lorien immediately threw all caution to the wind as he instead decided to satisfy the audience watching, the man in front of him, and most importantly, himself.
'Hahahaha, I didn't know that I also had such feelings in me, it seems that we truly aren't that different after all!'
So, with this in mind, Lorien immediately jumped to the side giving space for the two orbs to make contact as he then called out his sword and began preparing his own attack/defense.
'Now, you can't give me any excuses after you lose!'
'Moreover, let's see if you can break this destiny of yours.'
This reaction was also quickly noticed by Gojo who was slightly worried about Lorien stopping the attack in its tracks before it actually detonates.
'Huh? Does he plan to?'
"HAHAHHAHA!"
Finally reacting, the grin on Gojo's face grew even wider as he looked at Lorien in front of him who looked like he was about to slash forward at any moment.
