With Ryomen Sukuna's Domain unfolding, a bloody Buddhist shrine that was decorated with skulls and looked like it was built atop a mountain of corpses abruptly manifested itself across the demolished cemetery.
The moment this shrine appeared, it was like a drop of bloody ink water falling into a calm and serene lake sending ripples through it and infecting it with sky-shrouding malice.
Moreover, these ripples weren't something that normal humans, or even sorcerers for that matter could face as they took the form of innumerable slashing attacks that cut everything in their path apart.
This erasure began with the bloody shrine as the center and then moved forward in all directions as a sphere, 'swallowing' everything it met.
Be it the leftover buildings, the graves, the ground, or even the small dust particles, everything was wiped out.
Moreover, this attack was insanely fast not leaving any time for the opponent to react.
However, thankfully for Yuta, before the attack could land on him, his Realm also manifested itself into the world taking the form of an open domain.

The moment this domain unfolded, a huge red-colored mirror that had golden runes etched all over its borders appeared behind Yuta, and contrary to the bloody and malicious feeling Sukuna's shrine gave, this mirror sent serenity and calmness into the hearts of all those who looked at it.
Before switching paths, It was unknown what his previous domain was like, however, after making the transition, this domain center was born based on many factors such as his will, his ability, and his values.
It's just that at this moment, none of this was that important as the instant this mirror appeared, it immediately started functioning as intended.

There, centimeters away from Yuta, the wave of destruction came to an abrupt halt.
Then, under the world's expectant eyes, an identical slashing power suddenly emerged from the mirror crashing into the wave that Sukuna sent prior.

The moment they clashed, an uncomfortable sound similar to that of nails clawing at a chalkboard echoed across the plain.
It was as if each of these slashes was a real metal blade and they kept trying to tear each other apart.

However, the center of the clash wasn't that close to Yuta, instead, it occurred at the center of the space between them and at a much higher power level.
It seems that both fighters focused all of their power on this attack each trying to overpower the other party.

On the other side, the shrine and the mountain of corpses under it clearly presented the path of absolute malice, selfishness, and burning everything to reach one's objective.
It is the path of complete self-centredness and self-interest where a person's own interests and desires overshadow everything else.
These were not simply some unimportant ideals and thoughts, instead, they also represented the path to power of the people who made them.
Should one become stronger to protect others, or should one sacrifice everyone and everything to become stronger?
Which path is easier to walk and which path is stronger?
