"The encirclement has been completed sir." he heard Tsumugi tell him from his headset as he was flying high above the mansion belonging to the Shie Hassaikai. With his improved eyesight he could actually see them scurrying around while even if they looked up all they would see is the cloud cover. Maybe someone with a quirk that improved their sight would be able to see him, but they would need to know he was coming and where to look neither of which they did.
"Affirmative." he answered shortly.
From his vantage point he could actually see some of his members encircling the mansion from a distance they would not notice until it was too late and the operation had commenced.
"Is my team ready?" he asked.
"They are moving in right now." Tsumugi confirmed.
This time he wouldn't be moving alone and instead was leading a team of eight of their strongest members. Unlike when he infiltrated the institution holding Himiko this time he would be dealing with a much larger and stronger force. Not only that, but they were all also hardened criminals that wouldn't hesitate to kill even kids. Though he was much stronger now than he was then he wasn't going to take any necessary risks.
He stopped flapping his wings dropping himself backwards into a free fall the wind blowing through his hair and feathers as he neared terminal velocity too fast to be noticed by anyone only spreading his wings for a sudden deceleration just before he could splatter on the ground landing behind his team he had noticed. At times like these he was always happy with his wings and enhanced physique as if he didn't have both of these things he wouldn't have pulled off such a dangerous act with the amount of Gs it put him through.
"Greetings sir." they all said at the same time and saluted him. He just nodded at them to return their greeting.
They were dressed in a similar manner to him wearing black fitted outfits. The main differences were their equipment selections. Unlike his closer range and melee focus that suited his enhanced body and skills they were more varied and more prepared for ranged combat. Six were equipped with assault rifles two of them with grenade launchers attached. The remaining two were carrying light machine guns. They all only carried a single pistol as a side arm unlike James.
They were all equipped with a variety of rounds and grenades beyond the standard just like James in preparation of Overhaul and any other possible eventualities that might occur. Though most quirk holders could still be taken out by regular munition there were always exceptions.
"We will be moving in now. Try to eliminate them as quickly as possible. The further we can reacher before they realise what is going on the quicker we can get this all over with. If we encounter the target or Overhaul leave it to me unless ordered otherwise." he told them.
"Yes sir." they responded resolutely. They had been trained well enough to stand out in any military. They might still be a rather small organisation there were two things that James didn't waver on and that was requiring quality and loyalty. The latter naturally guaranteed through his contracts so all he truly had to be worried about was hiring talented high quality personnel and his contracts would handle the rest for him.
"Mio, connect us." he orders.
"Done sir." she quickly responded, their earpieces now all connected together.
They start rushing towards the mansion. They can see the rear entrance guarded by two people that seem quite relaced.
"Commence." he orders.
The six snipers stationed as far as possible from the mansion simultaneously fire taking out the guards guarding the outside of the mansion dropping them without alerting anyone. At the same time one of his squad members throws a smoke grenade which distracts the two guards left at the entrance giving James a chance to rush them at his fastest speed while unsheathing his combat knife. He manages to end both their lives before they are able to alert the ones inside the mansion.
The rest of his squad to catch up moments later. Most of them join him on both sides of the door while the last one takes out a battering ram and breaks open the door. The second the door opens two of the riflemen cover the sides immediately eliminating the small team of 4 guarding inside with their assault rifles.
The clock is really running now as there is no way they didn't hear either the battering ram smashing the door or the gunfire that followed it.
James signals for them to start moving immediately as the team enters crouch running and covering the hallway with one of them taking point and James covering the rear.
Their point man checked around the corner before signalling they were clear so they continued further into the mansion. As they moved down the hallway they repeated the same tactic as their original entry busting down the doors along the way and eliminating any enemies present in the room. Anyone armed was quickly ended by a bullet to the head or chest while non-combatants were knocked out and/or restrained. This was done to prevent anyone from sneaking up behind them.
Finally they were getting to the main hall where they encountered a larger grouping of 18 thugs already expecting them after all the noise had caused them to gather together there and they were armed to the teeth.
Since they were already noticed James had them throw in a combination of flash bangs and smoke grenades which ended up blinding them and obscuring their senses before the two automatic rifle men laid down suppressive fire while the rest of the team entered the main hall.
Due to the element of surprise provided by the grenades and sudden fire half of the thugs were already down before the rest had managed to duck behind cover.
