Momo was looking at James like she was expecting something.
"Good job Momo," James finally said causing a bright smile to bloom on her face.
Toru looked like she wanted to say something, but was still too shy after what had happened.
Mina was happy to chime in though. "That was amazing!" she said hugging James a little too intimately for Momo's tastes.
"Right? Right?" Ochaco joined in on the excitement.
Mina simply ignored Momo's glare though.
"Thanks, I couldn't have done it without our Toru-chan though," James answered feigning humility.
"T-thanks..." Toru managed to barely get out.
It didn't seem anyone, but James realised why she was acting this way or they were just too distracted talking about the match.
"Not bad," Ibara said.
She was a cute girl with green, thorn-covered vines for hair. Her eyes are dark green with long lower eyelashes. Her body wasn't anything extraordinary, but her beautiful face more than made up for that. For some reason James felt a strong desire to do naughty things with her. More than he usually did at least.
"Thank you. I don't think we've been introduced yet, I'm James," James said with a charming smile.
"Shiozaki Ibara, nice to finally meet you," Ibara said.
"The pleasure is all mine," James responded smiling lightly.
His gaze into her eyes caused her to blush lightly. She put her hands on her chest to still her rapidly beating heart.
"So...so... how was it?" Mina asked eagerly trying to get back his attention.
"Shoto's power is impressive, but he still needs more practice using it in live situations," James said. He could shit on Shoto's performance a lot more, but even if true it just wouldn't make him look good. It also wasn't fair to hold these newbie students to his standards after all even if it was true that any of his subordinates would have gotten reamed if they performed similarly. Some literally.
Mina nodded in agreement still latched onto his arm.
"Next up are team J as the villains and team H as our heroes. Shiozaki, Kirishima, Tokoyami and Asui please come over here," All Might announced.
All Might quickly lead the two teams out to take them to the site of their match.
The match didn't take very long at all. Ibara's vines were just too much of a cheat in an enclosed space like the building allowing her to completely restrict the heroes entry and capture them shortly. She might not excel in outright damage potential, but when it comes to capturing and crowd control she is one of the best which happens to be one of the most useful skills in this particular training exercise.
Everyone congratulated them when they returned. Beyond some scratches from Ibara's thorns they were all fine.
Third up were Team C as the villains and team G as the heroes. Kendo Itsuka and Yaoyorozu Momo against Kaminari Denki and Jiro Kyoka.
Istuka and Momo won easily. A situation where they have to protect a location and Momo has time to prepare is just too advantageous for someone that can create just about anything she wants to. Momo had the room locked down like it was a safe not even giving the two heroes a chance to act like heroes. She is kind of like batman in this sense. Give her enough time to prepare and she can defeat most people. She isn't the real batman after all.
They were the first and probably only matchup where everyone returned completely unscathed. Denki and Kyoka were just a little worn out from trying to break into the room.
Finally it was team F as villains and team E as heroes. Toga Himiko and Rikido Sato against Ashido Mina and Aoyama Yuga.
James was quite curious how Himiko would perform given the situation. Seeing as both he and Himiko ended up as villains during the training exercise he couldn't help smile at the coincidence given his own predisposition and Himiko's original trajectory if he hadn't interfered.
Himiko skipped up to him and surprised everything with a quick kiss to his cheek. "Wish me luck," she said gleefully. She was happy to finally be able to cut loose a little. School had been way too boring so far leaving her wanting to take naps instead. Maybe there would finally be some blood now though, just the thought was getting her excited.
A few of the girls were left blushing by her bold actions and some of the boys were left gnashing their teeth wondering why this handsome bastard had such a cute girl to himself. Worse yet he didn't just have the one. They were fairly certain he also had Momo and it was obvious at least a few of the other girls in class were already interested. It was only the second day of class damn it. At least give them a fighting chance.
"You hussy..." Momo said gnashing her teeth. Mostly she was blaming herself for not thinking of such a way to take advantage though.
Himiko just sent her a teasing wink though as she walked after All Might.
It didn't take long for Himiko's team to show up on the monitors and make their way to the bomb room.
Rikido was checking and securing his sugar servings. He needed to be able to access them immediately when they encountered his opponents. Since the effect only lasted 3 minutes while the exercise lasted 15 minutes so he couldn't just consume the sugar up front.
Meanwhile Himiko used her costume to feed her some of James' blood. Drinking his fresh blood allowed her access to a higher percentage of his full power than just relying on the amount she had built up in her body from drinking his blood daily did.
She immediately started to transform into James a fraction of his power coursing through her body. Even just the tiny fraction she was experiencing was exhilarating, it was like being on drugs.
"You look surprisingly good in a skirt Busuj-" Denki started to say to tease James until he received a glare from James that stopped him on the spot.
"Heh... just kidding..." he said, nervous sweat dripping down his neck.
