He didn't stand out either positively or negatively too much, but he managed to guard the bomb and worked together well with Himiko during the fight landing the deciding blow when Himiko created an opening for him. Ribbit, I think everyone agreed Himiko was the MVP though. She managed to lead the other team by the nose capturing one of them. Her fight with Mina was also impressive with how she controlled the flow of the fight," Tsuyu said. She even nodded at the end as if she was confirming her own thoughts. It was kind of cute.
"Good work young Asui, I couldn't have said it better," All Might praised. It seemed if you weren't making his disciple look bad he didn't feel the need to defend the team excessively.
They all thought Tsuyu was happy to be praised, it was hard to tell with her neutral expression though.
"That was really amazing Himiko-chan. Could you help me with becoming better at sneaking?" Toru asked excitedly.
Himiko just shrugged noncommittally though.
"She was actually trained using my family training facilities, you can always come over if you want to give it a try," James said.
"That sounds amazing. Wait why has he trained at your families facilities?" Toru asked curiously.
"Oh, that because she lives in my house," James said nonchalantly.
This stunned the class to silence.
Ibara blushed heavily."How scandalous," she mumbled.
"This bastard..." Denki muttered.
"My parents adopted her. She is an orphan," James said to reduce the scandal. Even if they were indeed sleeping together it didn't hurt to have some plausible deniability.
"Did you know this?!" Mina asked Momo.
"Unfortunately yes. I'm there more often than I am at my own house, so there is no way I wouldn't," Momo responded. It hadn't been the first time she wished she could have lived in the Busujima estate too. She had known him the longest and Himiko felt like an intruder on her territory.
All Might lead everyone towards the exit of the training grounds.
“Good work everyone! We didn’t have any major injuries, other than Young Midoriya, either! You guys took this on seriously! You all did a good job for your first training!” All Might said giving them a thumbs up.
“To have such a proper class after Mr. Aizawa’s class… It’s kind of anti-climactic…” Tsuyu said getting everyones agreement.
“We’re free to have proper classes as well! Well then, I must review the results with Young Midoriya! Change and return… to the classroom!” All Might said before turning off.
James already knew All Might was so desperate to get out of there since his transformation into his peak form could wear off at any moment. All Might was probably the second biggest fool after Izuku in this world. With his constant pushing of his body despite the injuries he was only wearing himself out faster which meant he would actually be able to save fewer people in the long run. A non-sensical emotional choice.
“All Might’s amazing!” Denki said.
After changing out of their super suits it was time to get back to class. The only one missing was Izuku who was injured seriously enough to require a longer stay in the infirmary to recover more.
Himiko was even more relaxed than her usual self after enjoying the combat training.
The moment class was over Katsuki got up.
"Hey, hold on," Kyoka said trying to stop him.
"Yeah, you haven't introduced yourself yet. Why don't we all get to know each other better?" Ochaco chimed in happily.
"Get lost!" Katsuki spat back agressively.
Ochaco looked a little lost. She wasn't used to being rebuffed so harshly. One of the benefits of being a girl. However Katsuki only seemed to have eyes for men, All Might and Izuku to be specific, so he couldn't care less when getting attention from a cute girl.
He simply darted out of the class. Even with a few hours to stew on it he still hadn't gotten over his loss to Izuku yet and was still burning with rage.
James patted Ochaco on the shoulder. "Don't worry about it. He'll come around eventually," he reassured her.
Mina wrapped her arms around Ochaco to give her a big hug. "Yeah, just ignore that grumpy cat," she agreed with a bright smile.
This seemed to cheer the sad girl right back up though. "Thanks!" she said with a smile back on her face.
"Uraraka-chan. Kaminari-kun. You two go to the teacher's lounge and pick up the stack of books. You'll all need them tomorrow morning," Shota told them.
They both nodded in agreement. Denki even seemed excited by the request.
Izuku finally returned to the class room from the infirmary moments later. He was still looking quite roughed up with his broken arm in a cast and sling.
“Oh, Midoriya’s here!” Kirishima called out.
“Good work!” Kirishima said running up to Izuku.
“Man, I don’t know what you were saying during the match, but you were fired up!” Kirishima
“You did a good job dodging!” Mina said jumping up and down excitedly.
“You guys did that in the first match, so the rest of us had to give it our all too,” Rikido said.
“You were far from elegant, but-“ Yuga started saying.
“You did a good job dodging!” Mina said again interrupting him.
“H-huh?” Izuku exclaimed in surprise.
