"Yes! He has been too busy with school," Eri said.
Tsumugi smiled gently. "I'm sure he'll be able to make some time for you," she said causing the girl's eyes to light up.
"Is that true?" she asked excitedly.
"Of course it is," James said with a smile.
"Yay!" Eri cheered.
"But first, did you do your training for the day already?" James asked Eri.
She nodded seriously.
"Ok, go ahead and show me." he said.
She focused on the coin seriously and at first nothing seemed to be happening. Some sweat formed on the little girl's brow. This lasted for a few moments before suddenly the coin seemed to turn white hot and deform into a simple chunk of metal.
She hadn't actually melted it though, she had simply reversed time on the coin until it went backwards through its creation and reverted to the state it was in as a as a block of metal in the factory.
She finally let out a big sigh and her tense muscles relaxed. She looked up at him with some trepidation.
"Great work Eri-chan. Your control is getting much better," James said to encourage her.
A big smile broke out on her lips. "Do you really think so?" she asked.
James chuckled. "Of course, our Eri-chan is the best," he said.
Her smile grew even wider and she puffed her chest a little.
They had mainly been focusing on her control and in turn helping her relax and getting her used to her power so going out of control would be less of a concern. By using her power in calm situations they would first acclimatise her to using her power regularly, at least until she got used to using her power again without having a panic attack due to her prior experience with her quirk going out of control.
Then when she would be able to use her quirk without losing control in calm situations they could slowly begin to dial up the pressure and get her used to using her quirk while under stressful situations while maintaining her control.
Only when he was sure she could control her quirk regardless of the situation would he allow her to focus on exploring larger uses of her quirk rather than focus on control.
"Since you've already done all your training we can play, what would you like to play?" James asked.
"Hide and seek!" Eri said jumping around excitedly.
He patted her on the head to calm her down. "Ok. Do you know where Himiko is?" he asked.
"Himiko-oneesan is sleeping in the library," she said ruthlessly betraying Himiko's trust.
James chuckled. "Of course she is," he said.
"Well I doubt she will be joining us then, what if Tsumugi-oneesan joins us instead?" he asked.
Tsumugi blushed at being called big sis by her master. "Eh? Me?" Tsumugi said in surprise.
"What? You don't want to?" James asked teasingly.
"No. No! I mean I do." she responded nervously.
James smiled. "See?" he told Eri who lit up.
Eri became even more excited. She didn't get to play all that often since she didn't have any friends her own age. She was still quite afraid of hurting other people which caused a rift to form between her and others. The only place she felt comfortable at the moment was in the Busujima household.
She grabbed his hand and started pulling him out of the office in excitement. "Let's start!" she said.
While heading out to the front door to start their game of hide and seek they ran in to James' mom, Lilly.
"Where are you all going?" she asked them.
"We're playing hide and seek!" Eri said.
"Oh. That sounds like fun. Why don't I join?" Lilly said.
"Yes!" Eri agreed immediately.
Lilly even got some of the younger maids to join in who happily joined seeing the cute little girl's excitement when they were asked.
No one could resist Eri's puppy dog eyes after all.
When they finally got to the front door there were already seven of them to play together. More than enough.
"You're it," Eri said to James.
James smirked looking at all the others. "You better hide well or I'll catch you," he said.
Tsumugi and the maids that had joined blushed heavily when he said that. The only ones left out were his mom and Eri.
"You'll never find me!" Eri said defiantly.
"We better hide well," Lilly chimed in.
Two of the maids he'd had fun with previously shot him some sultry looks as if daring him to find them.
"Alright, I'll start the countdown," he said.
He turned around facing the wall. "100... 99... 98... 97..." he started counting down slowly.
He could hear a bunch of shuffling behind him as they all ran off to find a hiding spit. "56... 55... 54..." he continued.
They weren't aware, but with his enhanced hearing he could still hear them despite already having left the hallway he was in. "4... 3... 2... 1... Here I come!" he shouted.
He could hear Eri suppress a giggle in the distance.
He could have gone for her right away, but that wouldn't be very nice and there was plenty of fun to be had beforehand.
First he headed directly to the kitchens and opened one of the pantries revealing a sexy woman in a pencil skirt suit combo.
"Well, if it isn't Tsumugi-oneesan... so since I found you what is my reward?" he asked in a teasing tone.
She blushed heavily. "W-what kind of reward were you expecting?" she asked her eyes filled with expectations.
He pressed her up against the shelves licking his lips as if he were hungry. "I think you know full well what kind of reward I was expecting," he whispered into her ear.
Tsumugi gulped deeply and a shiver of anticipation coursed through her body. She closed her eyes, tilted up her head and puckered her lips slightly. Her heart was racing, she had been waiting for this moment for years now. At first she felt bad, he was so young after all. She was six whole years older than him, but she didn't care anymore. All she knew was that she wanted him like she had never wanted anything else.
