“Hello everyone,” Narias greeted his friends gathered at their student club. There was Growly, Nicky and Ileena currently there.

“Hi Narias,” Nicky was first to say hello.

“Hi,” Growly was sitting next to her, so he greeted him next.

“Hello Narias, how are you doing?” Ileena wanted to know.

“I’m… fine,” he smiled, pausing to think about it first. His mind shot back to remember the meeting with Belinda, especially the goodbye part when the sexy teacher was leaving.

“Are you sure?” Ileena noticed his half-flustered face.

“Yes, of course,” Narias threw one hand behind his head. “So, aahm… I think I’ll go practise my magic today.”

He went to pick up two stands from the storage room and rushed out to get some fresh air.

“Is something wrong with Narias?” Nicky being very observant noticed him acting a little strange.

“I… don’t know,” Ileena wondered herself.

“Narias will go home. Maybe excited?” Growly shared his opinion.

“That’s right, we’ll have two weeks holiday starting next Monday.” Nicky clapped her hands excitedly.

“Oh, yeah…” Nicky’s best friend didn’t sound as excited as she was.

“You can always ask if you could go together with him?” Nicky commented, sticking her tongue out with a tease.

“Ah? Ahem… Don’t be ridiculous. That would be… inappropriate,” Ileena pretended she went to read the book she had in front of her.

“What’s so inappropriate about it? You two are dating, and are probably closer than anyone else is,” the tiny girl sent Ileena a wink this time.

“N… Nicky!” Ileena exclaimed, throwing a glance at Growly who didn’t really react to what Nicky had said.

“Don’t worry. Growly is very understanding and I trust him too. We are dating after all. But you knew that already, didn’t you?” Nicky was open to admit that the two of them were a couple now. However, this time Growly shifted in his seat, feeling a little uncomfortable hearing Nicky say it out loud. “Sorry, Growly, but I think it’s ok for others to know.”

“Ok,” Growly acknowledged, seeing Nicky’s cute smile, which made the bear boy relax a little as well.

“Well, congratulations. I’m… happy for you two,” Ileena said with a bit of a blush.

“Thanks,” Nicky smiled wider.

“Hello everyone,” Emilia entered the room after a short while. The three students greeted her back. However, Emilia was able to pick up a strange vibe in the air. “Did… something happen?”

“Nothing really, other than Growly and I are now dating,” Nicky spilled the beans to Emilia as well.

“Oh, wow,” Emilia certainly didn’t expect to hear that. “I… I’m sorry. I’m happy for you both. I wish your relationships to blossom beautifully.”

“Wow, what a nice thing to say. Thank you so much, Emilia,” this time Nicky was impressed by how beautifully Emilia put it.

“Thanks,” Growly was scratching his cheek with one finger, his fur protecting him from showing how flushed his cheeks were.

“Yo’ guys, what’s up?” Flavia showed up suddenly, feeling as energetic as ever.

“Hello Flavia,” Ileena greeted her, then went back to reading her book again.

“Good day, Flavia,” Emilia smiled at her. “You’re in a very good mood today.”

“Of course, our off-school holiday starts next week. I can’t wait,” the excited bunny girl grinned her widest smile. “Hey Growly, whatcha doing?”

“Hi. I go train with Narias,” Growly greeted her back and instantly stood up to leave.

“Train with Narias, but he’s practising his…” Flavia found Growly’s behavior strange, but before she could finish her sentence the furry bear boy was gone. “What’s up with Growly?”

“Nothing,” Nicky chuckled, covering her mouth with one hand.

“I’ll let you tell her yourself,” Ileena didn’t lift her eyes from her book.

“Yo’, nice going, Nicky. I need to go congratulate Growly too.” Flavia wasn’t exactly surprised to hear Nicky deliver her the news.

“I think you should leave him be for now,” Ileena stopped her.

“Why?” Flavia gave Ileena a stare.

“You know Growly. He’s a little shy,” Nicky chuckled again, but her cheeks were decorated with a charming red glow.

“Hah, I knew there was something going on between you two,” Flavia smiled happily.

“Really?” Nicky didn’t expect anyone besides Ileena to know.

“Of course. You two were being very close during our last dungeon exploration run.” Flavia sounded like it was obvious.

“Wow, I never expected anyone to notice it,” Nicky had to give in.

“The two of you were too obvious. I have a boyfriend, I could easily tell,” Flavia admitted proudly.

“Haha. I see,” Nicky couldn’t do anything but laugh about what Flavia had said.

“Right ok. If Narias and Growly are training outside then I’ll hit the gym room,” The other girls could only see Flavia’s excited smile before she vanished in the corridor.

“I think I will join Flavia as well. Narias recommended I should build up my stamina, so I could last longer and cast more spells during the fights,” Emilia decided to do some physical exercises herself.

“Good idea, I would like to join you two as well,” Ileena closed the book she was reading.

“Oh my, it seems I am on my own today. What should I do now?” Nicky was talking to herself after she was left by herself in the main room.

In the meantime, Growly went to ask Narias if he’d be willing to train together, playing the Game of Tag with him. Narias agreed, since they hadn’t done that in a while. Before they started however, Growly brought up the courage to tell his friend about him and Nicky being a couple now. Narias was very happy to hear the news and Growly didn’t feel too embarrassed about telling him, probably because they were only the two of them out there. Talking to boys, and especially his friend, wasn’t as scary as talking to girls for Growly.

Both of them had a decent workout. Growly was building up on his strength while Narias was working on his stamina. It definitely showed during the training. The ground would sometimes tremble at the spot where Growly slammed his paws, trying to hit Narias in the process. That was more than enough of a reason for Narias to make sure he wouldn’t be ‘tagged’ or else he’d need an emergency treatment from Milenna.

Nothing bad happened in the end, other than both of them giving it all and using the time they trained to the fullest. That’s not to say that Narias wasn’t worried about being flattened by Growly. At one point, Narias avoided Growly’s smack by a hair, which made Narias take the training as seriously as ever. He had to use his Wind Pressure Blast to throw both of them away from each other. Narias instantly tried to apologize to his friend for hurting him, but all Growly said was ‘Good move’ and went after Narias again. That made Narias smile and give his all against Growly. They were training to get better after all. In the end, both of them were laying flat on their backs, panting heavily from exhaustion and being happy about such awesome workout.

When Narias and Growly came back to their student club, the girls were occupying the bathroom at the time. It was a good excuse for the two of them to add extra effort and train more in the gym room. Their tiredness was replaced by the extra surge of energy, boosted by the excitement of the upcoming holiday. By the time girls left the bathroom, the boys had built up an extra layer of sweat and still wanted to keep going. But the evening was approaching and they still had classes tomorrow, so Narias and Growly finished one last set each and went to wash themselves.

When they came out of the bathroom, all four girls were still waiting for them at the main club room. Nobody wanted to leave without a proper goodbye first, although, Growly and Nicky excused themselves first and left to have a walk at the campus park. As for Narias and his girlfriends, well he was blessed with the kisses again before leaving for his dorm.

The next morning was the last day of school before the holiday started. All of the students were excited about it, until they reached their seats in their classrooms. For the students it might’ve been the last day of schooling before the holiday started, but for the teachers it was just another lectoring day. Well, probably more than that because the students were blessed with the additional tests they had to write. No pleading or complaining were accepted by the teachers to be more lenient and let them of the hooks. That didn’t bother Narias of course. He was glad to receive some additional work. Time flew faster during written tests for him.

“Hello Ileena, Emilia and Nicky,” Vivia greeted the girls sitting at one of the tables in the student cafeteria during the lunch break. “Mind if I sit here?”

“Hello Vivia. Of course not, please sit down,” Ileena said. The other girls said hello as well.

“Thank you. Oh, and I’m so sorry I couldn’t come to the club yesterday. With the holiday coming up, and us going into the dungeon earlier this week, I had to catch up on my studying. All the teachers must’ve joined forces to give us tests today,” Vivia sighed deeply after sitting down.

“It’s nothing new. I already knew this would happen,” Ileena stated with confidence.

“You knew about the teachers giving tests today? Why didn’t you tell us?” Nicky pursed her lips, feeling a little upset about it. Or maybe it was just an act.

“Well… I didn’t know we will have tests…” Ileena admitted. “But if you take your studies seriously, you don’t have to worry about it.”

“Ah… when you say it like that…” suddenly, Nicky was trying to look away for some reason.

“I believe Ileena is right,” Emilia said with a chuckle.

“So, what are you-“ Vivia was about to ask a question when another girl interrupted her.

“Well, well, you just look at that. The little vermin found a new owner to suck up to,” Zhanna glared at Vivia with a seemingly genuine smile.

“Oh, hello Zhanna. You look lovely in your new dress. How have you been?” Instead of getting upset, or offended, Vivia greeted Zhanna politely.

“Tch… don’t you get all friendly with me, you traitor. And don’t think I will forget or forgive for what you had done,” Zhanna wasn’t smiling at Vivia anymore, but then an evil glimmer sparkled in her eyes. “Although, your new student club suits you well, being at the bottom of the barrel and run by somebody who fainted pathetically during their first match at the Solo Arena Battle Competition.”

“Wow, you’re as courteous as ever, Zhanna,” all Vivia could do is smile.

“By the way, Emilia… Did you know, if you frown or glare at someone too much, you’d get wrinkles on your face, which will make you look very, very old,” Ileena addressed the girl on her right, completely ignoring what Zhanna said, or acknowledging that Zhanna was there in the first place.

“Yes, I’ve heard about it. They also say that the skin on your cheeks will become saggy as a result too and you end up looking like a puppy with lots of loose skin falling down your chin. Although, I think little puppies are very cute,” Emilia followed up to have a loud conversation with Ileena.

“Why you…” Zhanna’s face became almost blue. “How dare you talk to me like that?!”

“Oh, Zhanna? Sorry, I hadn’t noticed you there. Have you been well? Your face looks rather pale. You shouldn’t stress so much or else you get wrinkles and a saggy skin,” Ileena asked with a voice full of concern. She also made sure she was loud enough with her words.

“Hmph,” Nicky covered her mouth with one hand to try not to laugh, turning her face away.

“Why you…” Zhanna was fuming, but then suddenly backed down and a confident, almost victorious, smile had entered her mouth. “Well, enjoy your happy time while you still can. And do be careful in the dungeon. I’ve heard there are a lot of dangerous monsters inside it.”

“What a thoughtful thing to say. Thank you for your concern, Zhanna,” Vivia thanked her casually.

“We’ll make sure to be careful, now that you’ve told us about it,” Ileena adjusted her glasses, piercing Zhanna with her eyes.

“Tch…” Zhanna was a little ticked off that none of the girls reacted in a way she expected they would. “Humph… why do I even waste my time talking to you?”

The girl turned around and walked away, followed by three boys right behind her.

“I’m so sorry. She was so rude to you because of me,” Vivia felt bad about the whole situation.

“Don’t worry about it. Besides, we were simply having a conversation between ourselves. And everything I said was true,” Ileena told her in her usual manner.

“Really? You both really meant what you had said?” Vivia was a little flabbergasted about the words being spoken.

“Of course. I honestly think little puppies are cute,” Emilia said with a smile.

“Wha… ah, hahaha,” Vivia, as well as the other two girls laughed.

The girls continued to enjoy their lunch, with the talks turning towards what everyone was planning to do during the off-school holiday.

“Will you be going home, Ileena?” Nicky asked, being curious.

“I… don’t know. I’m not sure if it’ll be worth it. My brother won’t be home and my parents are working a lot, so I wouldn’t see them much anyway,” Ileena explained.

“What about you, Emilia?” the tiny girl asked.

“Well… I have visited my parents earlier this year and… I’m not sure what I’ll do yet,” Emilia didn’t give a specific answer and she felt a little uncomfortable talking about her parents for some reason.

“What are your plans, Vivia?” Ileena, noticing Emilia feeling awkward, turned towards the other girl instead.

“My plans? Oh, I don’t have any. I’ll be staying at my dorm and will take it easy for the most part,” the girl answered with a smile. “What about you, Nicky?”

“Me? Well, I’ll go visit my parents then come back here to… to relax and take it easy, just like you, Vivia,” Nicky smiled at her.

“If you say so,” Ileena could tell her friend wasn’t disclosing everything.

“Ok, ok. I promised Growly I will come back earlier, so we could spend some time together,” Nicky gave in, sticking her tongue out cheekily. The girls laughed about it in a supporting manner.

After another short chit chat, Narias came to eat as well. He approached the table where the girls were sitting and was welcomed to join them, almost with the open arms. Since Flavia wasn’t there yet, Narias ended up sitting in between Ileena and Emilia this time.

“So, Narias, what are your plans for the off-school holiday?” Nicky was curious to know.

“My plans for the off-school holiday? I will go see my parents,” he answered, not giving it too much thought.

“Really? Will you be going by yourself?” Nicky pressed on.

“Huh? Well… yeah,” Narias found her question a little strange.

“Of course. What was I thinking?” Nicky chuckled, but then winked at Ileena and Emilia when Narias turned to his food again.

“I… I’m sure your parents will be happy to see you, Narias,” Ileena said with a blush.

“I guess. I haven’t seen them for so long,” Narias agreed.

“That’s right. You bought a dress for your mom too. I’m sure she’ll be elated to receive it,” Emilia joined in.

“Yeah. I just hope the dress will… I mean, that the dress will fit,” for some reason, Narias stuttered when he spoke about it.

“Well, I…” Ileena seemed to struggle with her words. “I… ahem… I’m sure it will.”

Nicky gave her friend ‘oh, come on’ stare, which Ileena pretended to not see. Before anyone could say anything else, Flavia showed up, carrying a tray with her own food in her hands.

“Yo’ guys, what’s up?” the bunny girl didn’t wait for an invitation to sit down.

“Oh, nothing. We were just talking about the upcoming off-school holiday.” Nicky was happy to share what they were discussing about.

“That’s right. I wanted to ask something about that, partner,” Flavia addressed her boyfriend.

“What did you want to ask, Flavia?” Narias turned to face her.

“You said you’ll be going home to see your parents, right?” his bunny girlfriend wanted to confirm.

“Yes, that’s correct,” he said.

“Can I come with you?” Flavia asked with the usual charming grin on her face.

“Huh? What?” The biggest reaction to her question came from Ileena and Emilia.

“You want to come with me?” Narias was surprised about Flavia’s question, but not about her boldness.

“Of course. I’d love to meet your parents and…” this is when Flavia’s cheeks caught a charming blush. She started poking her index fingers at one another, her eyes shooting all over the place. “And… you know… spend more time together… just the two of us.”

“Oh…” Narias cheeks couldn’t allow losing to Flavia, his hand stopping midair with the fork he was holding.

“Excuse me, but I’d like to come as well, Narias,” Ileena suddenly announced, cheeks burning red. “I’d love to… meet your parents too.”

“Yes, so do I…” Emilia added, catching a flush as well.

“Oh, oops…” Narias dropped his fork this time.

“~Teehee~” Nicky had to do everything she could to not burst into laughter.
