“Hey, partner! Over here,” Flavia was waving to Narias as soon as he and Growly entered the diner.

“Hello,” Narias came over, feeling slightly uncomfortable with all the stares from the other patrons.

“Hi,” Growly wasn’t really bothered by the extra attention.

“You don’t have to shout like that, Flavia,” Ileena commented, after taking a sip from her cup.

“Yeah, sorry,” the energetic bunny girl stuck her tongue out cheekily.

“Hello Growly. Hi Narias,” Ileena greeted them both, yet caught a light flush when she spoke to Narias.

“Hello Ileena, you look pretty today,” he greeted Ileena, who was wearing her blue dress again, with a compliment.

“Thank you,” his words reinforced her blush even more.

“Hey, you didn’t say anything about my looks today, partner,” Flavia pouted her lips, slightly upset.

“You look very charming as well, Flavia,” Narias quickly added.

“Thank you, partner,” that was enough to make his second girlfriend happy again.

“Heehee,” Nicky chuckled. “Hello Narias, Growly.”

“Hi Nicky,” both of them greeted her as well.

“Here, have a seat, partner,” the charming half beast bunny girl offered.

“Thanks,” it wasn’t a big surprise that the seat he was offered was right in between Ileena and Flavia.

“Flavia had told us about the registration, and the team’s name that you’ve come up with, Narias. I think it’s a good name for your team,” Ileena said.

“Good? It’s awesome. I would’ve never thought of something like that on my own,” the energetic bunny girl pointed out.

“Yeah. It is really unusual. How did you come up with it, Narias?” Nicky wanted to know.

“Well…” he didn’t know how to answer her question. “I… I wasn’t really thinking about it. It’s just… it’s just something that came out unintentionally.”

“Wow, really?” the tiny girl with cute pigtails exclaimed.

“Ah… I know it’s a bit silly, isn’t it? Haha,” Narias was feeling too uncomfortable talking about it.

“Quite the opposite, really,” Ileena didn’t think it was silly at all. “I think it’s a very appropriate name.”

“Definitely,” Flavia agreed with an added smile.

“Here is the menu. Why don’t you boys order something while we wait for Emilia and Lilna?” Nicky suggested.

“They have cake,” Growly picked up the menu right away.

“Thank you,” Narias was about to reach for one as well

“Hey, here they are. It’s Emilia with Lilna. I’ll call them over. Emi- Oops. Wha… Uuhm…” Flavia was about to stand up and shout out to Emilia and Lilna, but was unexpectedly interrupted by Narias bumping into her.

That wasn’t an accident, though. Ileena bumped her shoulder at Narias who in response bumped at Flavia, interrupting her as a result. Obviously, Ileena did it on purpose so Flavia wouldn’t shout again. However, the result was more than Ileena expected it would be.

Narias, who was completely unaware about getting bumped, was about to stand up in order to pick up the menu from Nicky. Unfortunately, Ileena bumped him a little too hard. He probably could’ve held on without falling on his own, but since Flavia was there, he actually leaned and grabbed onto her to keep his balance. Well, he leaned onto Flavia’s tight with his hand pushing her back on her seat.

As a result, the charming bunny girl wasn’t able to stand up, and the unexpected Narias’ touch interrupted whatever she wanted to say. But that was not the end of it. Because Flavia was wearing a really practical, soft fabric skirt, which also allowed for extra stretch, his hand slid down in between her tights just enough to reach the very middle in between. Fortunately for both of them, nobody actually noticed what has happened under the table.

“Ah? Eh… sorry. I…” Narias scrambled to sit back up.

“I… eeer… no problem… It’s ok, since… it was you,” everyone around the table was puzzled why Flavia was feeling so uncomfortable all of a sudden.

“Are you two ok?” Nicky was genuinely worried about them.

“Yes… ah… haha,” Narias threw his right hand behind his head but then became self-conscious and hid it in front of him under the table.

“Yeah, yeah. Aaah… All is cool,” Flavia added with the burning red cheeks, yet a bit of a happy grin on her face.

“Sorry, I wanted to reach for the menu as well but I accidently bumped into you, Narias,” Ileena apologized.

“No problem. It happens,” Narias tried to look normal.

“Huh?” Ileena caught a hint that something unexpected had happened.

She quickly threw a glance at Flavia who had an excited yet somewhat suspicious grin on her face. Narias at the same time, tried to do everything he could to keep his hands to himself.

“Huh?” Narias felt an intense stare from Ileena.

“How about I help you with the menu, Narias,” she then picked up the menu herself and leaned closer to her boyfriend, as well as wrapping her arm around his.

“Hey, that’s cheating,” Flavia protested, noticing what was going on.

“And what exactly do you mean by that, Flavia?” Ileena gave her a piercing look.

“I… that is… Humph, here Narias, let me help you order something,” the flustered bunny girl quickly grabbed another menu and pulled herself closer to her boyfriend, and did the same.

Eeeh? What’s happening here? Narias was locked in between Ileena and Flavia.

“Hmm… Honey cake…” Growly on the other hand, couldn’t see it because he was already drooling about the cake on the menu.

“Teehee,” Nicky was bright enough to understand what was going on but pretended she was reading the menu herself.

Not now. We’re sitting in the diner here. Despite trying to act normal, Narias was quite in a pinch.

“Hello, sorry we are late,” Lilna and Emilia finally found their table.

“Hi,” – ‘Bump,’ – “Ouch,” Narias used the opportunity to take his hands away but because of how quickly he tried to pull them away, he bumped them at the table from below.

“Are you ok, Narias?” Emilia was surprised about his sudden movement.

“Hey, are you hurt, partner?” Flavia became worried about him.

“Let me take a look at your hands, Narias,” Ileena tried to reach out.

“No, no. I’m fine… Really,” Narias was quick to grab the first available menu, so he could keep his hands right there on the table.

“Hah… haha,” Nicky was doing everything she could not to laugh. “Sorry. Hello Emilia and Lilna. Please, have a seat.”

The charming, tiny girl with pretty pigtails slid to the side on the soft bench seat to make room for the girls to sit down.

“Thank you,” Emilia and Lilna sat down after Growly followed Nicky’s example.

“Did something happen?” Emilia noticed the uncomfortable tension coming from the other side of the table where Narias, Ileena and Flavia were sitting.

But neither of the three wanted to answer her question.

“We were just talking about your team’s name,” Nicky finally said.

“Oh, yes. It is quite… exceptional,” Emilia stroked her hair while looking away.

“It has a nice ring to it,” Lilna clapped her hands.

“Good day. Sorry for intruding. Have you decided on what you would like to order?” a polite waitress showed up to take everyone’s orders.

“Oh, sorry. I’ve just arrived and hadn’t looked at the menu yet,” Lilna told her.

“That’s ok. Please take your time. I will be back in a short while,” the waitress smiled and walked away.

Thanks to the waitress showing up, Narias had a chance to quickly forget about the incident and change the focus to what he would like to order. The rest of the group members went on to check the menus and place the orders after the waitress came back.

“So, next week the Magic Dungeon exploration starts,” Nicky commented after putting a spoonful of her dessert in her mouth. “Mhm… so good.”

“Honey cake, aahm…” Growly wasn’t shy with his food.

“You’ve been training a lot, but you will have to be careful inside the dungeon,” Ileena expressed her concerns.

“Are the monsters very dangerous inside the Magic Dungeon?” Emilia asked.

“Level one and level two monsters are not very strong on their own but if you are not careful, you can get in trouble if you get surrounded by a group of them,” the girl in glasses explained.

“Wow, that sounds scary…” Lilna covered her mouth with both hands.

“Yeah, it can be. That’s what happened when Stefan and Brian rushed into the room full of monsters during our test run,” Narias told them, shaking his head as well.

“I’ve heard about it,” Emilia commented, before careful giving a taste of her food again.

“That was so stupid. I can’t believe someone would do that,” Ileena furrowed her eyebrows looking pretty angry.

“Well, their excuse was that they wanted to get more magic crystals. But I agree, it was foolish to jump in like that,” Narias agreed with her.

“It’s definitely not worth risking your life for a few magic crystals,” Ileena added.

“Right, speaking of which. The magic crystals I’ve found last time I sold to Growly’s dad. Mister Ferpaw paid a fair price, and he said he’d buy more if I was to get some. Of course, everyone is free to choose what they want to do with the crystals they will find but Growly’s dad can make a good use of them.”

Narias didn’t want to reveal what Growly told him on their way here, so he took a more tactful approach. Narias instantly noticed Growly’s smile when he looked at his fury friend.

“I have no use of the magic crystals. You are free to take all the crystals we will find when we go there,” Emilia said.

“Well… I could use some extra money,” Lilna said timidly.

“Extra money is nice, but I don’t mind giving my crystals to Growly’s dad,” Flavia wasn’t too worried about it.

“My dad will pay. He is fair,” Growly pointed out.

“Yeah. Mister Ferpaw said so himself when I brought my magic crystals to him. And I think everyone in the team should get a fair share of the loot that we might find in the dungeon,” Narias shared his point of view.

“Thank you,” Lilna smiled with an added sigh of relief.

“Speaking of which, I’ve read this book a few days ago,” Narias remembered the book about the rare monsters and the possible loot you could find inside the Magic Dungeon.

“What book?” Ileena was curious.

“I think it was called ‘Rare Monsters Inside The Magic Dungeon’,” he tried to recall the title of the book.

“Rare monsters? So cool,” Flavia became excited. “I bet we can get good loot from them.”

“Well, I don’t think it would be that easy,” Narias was slightly flabbergasted by how excited Flavia was.

“I’ve never heard of that book. Where did you find it, Narias?” Ileena wanted to know.

“Oh, I found it in the library. You know the other day, when I went to do some reading by myself? Apparently, it was misplaced by someone, and I was lucky to find it. Unfortunately, I couldn’t take it home with me, but the librarian was kind enough to let me read it for a few hours. He said the book was supposed to be kept on the third floor, and I would need a special permission if I wanted to read it again,” he explained about what happened.

“Wow, you were really lucky, Narias. That was truly a rare find,” it was evident Ileena was a little jealous she hadn’t had a chance to read the same book.

“Teehee,” Nicky chuckled in response to her words.

“Huh? What’s so funny?” her friend with the orange hair strands asked.

“Nothing, haha,” Nicky couldn’t stop laughing. “A rare book about rare monsters. A truly rare find. Haha.”

“Huh? Ha… hahaha,” everyone around the table started to laugh.

“Hmph…” except Ileena, who pouted her lips with a light blush on her face.

“So, tell us what you have learned from the book, partner,” Flavia asked after the laughs subsided.

“Oh, yeah. Let me see…” Narias put a finger to his lips while thinking where to start. “Ok, so the rare monsters…”

He went on to tell them as much as he could remember from what he had read, including how the colors which define how strong the monsters were.

“Woooah, rare monsters are amazing,” Flavia exclaimed with excitement. “I hope we will find one when we go there.”

“Haha. Yeah, they sound pretty cool. But I wouldn’t get our hopes up about encountering one. If I remember correctly, the only rare monster that we may find on the first floor is the Crystal Snatcher Bug,” Narias told her.

“We might find a different one on the second floor,” the energetic bunny girl was optimistic.

“You want to defeat the first floor’s boss monster and get to the second floor on your first run?” Nicky gasped in surprise.

“Yeah, why not?” Flavia didn’t see anything wrong with it.

“I… don’t know about that…” Lilna wasn’t very fond of the idea.

“We’re strong. We’ll beat all the monsters,” Growly was in favor of it too.

“Hmm…” Emilia had a drink from her cup without giving her opinion on this one.

“You shouldn’t get ahead of yourselves,” Ileena pointed out in a serious tone. “You shouldn’t underestimate the Magic Dungeon.”

“Yes, I think Ileena is right,” Narias agreed with her opinion and then saw Flavia frown. “I would love to explore the dungeon and see what’s it like in the deeper floors myself, but we need to be careful too. When I was in the dungeon with Instructor Dreknor, all we have encountered were level one monsters. I must admit, level one monsters weren’t that strong, but we hadn’t gone too deep into the Magic Dungeon back then. All things considered I wouldn’t want anyone to get hurt.”

“Aaah… you’re so sweet, partner,” Flavia wasn’t shy about hugging Narias’ arm again.

“Of course, Narias is very kind,” Ileena commented in her usual tone, and also hugged Narias’ other arm from her side.

Huh? Not again… People are watching… he tried to stay calm.

“Teehee,” Nicky chuckled again.

“Hah,” Lilna covered her mouth with one hand, being amused by it.

Only Emilia was trying to look away, with a mild flush on her face.

“So, what do you guys plan to do tomorrow?” Nicky was wondering.

“Oh, that’s right. Emilia and I will be going shopping to El’Roonst. She said she will show me the place where I can buy similar blouse like hers,” Flavia announced excitedly.

“Wow, sounds like fun,” the tiny girl with charming pigtails commented.

“Now that you’ve mentioned it. You look very pretty with it, Emilia,” Lilna added a compliment.

“Thank you, Lilna,” Emilia thanked her.

“So, you and Emilia are going shopping?” Ileena wanted to double check.

“Yes. Oh, and Narias is coming with us as well,” the girl with the bunny ears added with a wide grin on her face.

“Narias is going too?” Ileena suddenly became more attentive. “Why are you going with them, Narias?”

“Well…” he wasn’t sure if it was a good thing to disclose the real reason behind it.

“Narias will help me decide which clothes look best on me,” but Flavia spilled the beans without much of a concern who will think what.

“Eh? Ah… haha. Well…” Narias tried to smile but his face probably looked like a sour plum.

“Is that so?” Ileena’s eyes sparkled through the glasses. “I’d love to join you as well, if you don’t mind, Emilia? I was thinking about buying a new outfit for myself but because of how busy we were lately I wasn’t able to go out at all.”

“Well, I don’t mind personally,” Emilia answered politely.

“Sure, the more the merrier,” Flavia was happy to have more people come. “What about you Nicky and Lilna? Oh, and do you want to come too, Growly?”

“Sorry, but I have some plans tomorrow,” Lilna refused.

“I will have to pass as well. I was going to treat myself to a lazy Sunday tomorrow,” Nicky answered.

“I will be helping my dad at his shop,” Growly said.

“That’s too bad. But hey, it’s still gonna be fun. It will be us three girls and Narias,” Flavia was already looking forward to it.

“Yes, it will,” Ileena had a victorious smile on her face, which she tried to hide.

“I hope we will have a good time,” Emilia said while brushing her beautiful, snow-white hair to the side.

“Yeah…” Narias on the other hand, had a rather worried look on his face.
